i have a hep c too i got treatment with copegus and peginter..... so in my second injection im negative on hep my q is im free of hep there is no more im me or its just stoped his progress in me no one tell me nothing doctors even

My first injection i got no side effects, i went to power yoga the next day. However 3 weeks later I couldn't leave my bed for the entire 48 weeks after that. It is VERY intense, i didn't work at all and i was 100 pounds, 5'6... God bless

First of all you are not alone. Myself and many other hep c survivors are here to help!

Pegintron is a brand name for pegylated interferon and co-pegus for ribavirin. Peg-interferon combined with ribavirin is the mainstay of treatment for hep c ( although new drugs such as telaprevir will also soon be added making the treatment much more effective). I tried both available combinations of interferon/ribavirin for a total of 128 weeks so dont hesitate to ask me for further info!

5 years ago i took the same fukin' therapy, for a year with copegus.

by the end of the same year i gone crazy becouse of the side effects and i left that shit. but now i coming back to it.
