The Post Office = La oficina de correos, NOT El correo.

Colón Plaza = La Plaza DE Colón.

The bus terminal = LA, not EL, terminal de autobuses

The closest bus stop = Las parada de autobuses más CERCANA.

Lo que dices es básicamente cierto, pero, como breviario cultural, en México sí decimos "el correo" y no "la oficina de correos", aunque tu propuesta pueda sonar más correcta en términos del lenguaje, en algunos lados no es lo más común.

Sobre la plaza, pasa casi lo mismo. En Venezuela, por ejemplo, es fácil encontrar lugares simplemente llamados Plaza X, donde X es cualquier nombre.

I have question for you. To ask for directions or anything can't you say " eg Sabe usted donde esta el supermercado? or Usted sabe donde esta el supermercado? Which is correct?

Well nice! This is the first time I see someone using regular spanish... yes the word 'ubicado' is correct but we never use it to ask for directions... you are right we use 'queda'... but your channel and your Spanish are GREAT!

Hey Jason! Do you know if "¿Dónde está ubicado?" is commonly used? Actually in Portuguese "Onde está localizado?" do not sound too much "natural".

Marcio, amigo, the verb ubicar is more common in certain countries, rarely heard in others. That particular question would not be very common, most people would just say, "Dónde está...?" or "Dónde queda..." (Onde fica, ne?), pero gramaticalemente donde esta ubicado es correcto tambien! Me gustó tu video sobre Rio!
