  • Your video is a favorite on Tirane

  • Hannan is scum.

  • THis fool has no ideal how a health care system works. What a joke.

  • This video went viral on South Sudan

  • The british must hate Daniel.

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Why? I'm English and i love the guy. You have to be honest with yourself even if it is against your own country

  • @richgold1984 You are the first too have a clue to what he is saying. In america everybody is in love with obama,I do not like our president because of his policies. You're right...

  • As a British citizen , there are a lot of things I hat abou the UK , but the healthcare system isn't one , I get excellent service every time I go and Mr. Hannan is just very right wing.

  • The NHS saved my life and i'll forever back it. For those who are against it in britain when you say that it doesn't provide what you need, you have the option of private healthcare ALSO. When you have both options dont complain that the one you dont like didn't give you what you want.

  • The Government involve in mandatory health care it's a night mare, see the future now in Europe.

  • I also like how they use Cuba and North Korea as examples of countries that have universal health care hahahaha

  • hahaha, what a bunch of lies..... there's no such thing as rationing in universal health care systems..... I love how fox brought this guy on just so he could scratch their back on this issue, more people come to canada from usa illegally to get medication and other things and if you need a surgery asap, you get it.... yes there are long lists for small surgeries but never when it is life threatening or an emergency... tommy douglas is a godsend, france has tried it and they have the #1 system

  • Can Fox News find any other British politician who doesn't support the NHS? They wheel this Hannan guy out like a trick pony.

If he repeated his lies in the UK he'd be booted out of his parliamentary seat.

    He is a liar.

Virtually every person I know in the UK supports the NHS.

  • His argument is all very well - but what about Pre-existing conditions?? Once you've had a certain type of complaint they won't cover you - so what the bloody hell do people bother paying the premiums for. That's where the NHS is a G-dsend. My mother would have died without the NHS - it was terrific for us.

  • its guy love, just guy love, between two guys!

  • This guy is not a representative of the British people. He's one of a few people who have this belief. And all of this tiny minority are members of the Conservative Party

  • do people actually believe this? healthcare in britain is amazing. no one in the uk would rather have a healthcare system like americas over the nhs. except maybe hannan.

  • This so called "British Man" Is is what is known as a cunt!!!!!!!!!!! Lies Lies Lies! Why not tell the truth? I really do hope he dies! But I have no problem with Sean.

  • The UK is ranked 18th (the Dutch are 17th) in the WHO health league tables spending 8.4% of GDP on health care.

The US is ranked 37th (Costa Rica is 36th) despite spending 16% of GDP on healthcare.

Which system sounds better to you?

What's more, is the NHS is NOT a monopoly provider. In Britain you can have private healthcare and insurance if you so please AND you can choose your doctor.

Finally, this Daniel Hannan is a nobody in UK politics and was smashed by his party seniors after this.

  • actually the results are very pretty in Canada. Ask ANYONE up there if they'd rather have the US system and unless they are lying or rich, would say "hell no"

  • The private sector = the voluntary sector

The "public" sector = the highly corruptible sector founded upon nothing but force & coercion

  • NHS = slap-dash health care. It does the job but could be alot better.

  • this is the first time i have dissagread with daniel hannan the nhs still works the main problem with the nhs is tier upon tier of management sucking crucial funding from the front line services of all healthbcare to provide treatment to all free of charge

  • Daniel Hannan is an extremely unpopular MEP in Britain, he has very little credibility and is extremely fiscally conservative. The NHS has it's origins in post WWII bankrupt Britain; if every citizen can experience top notch care when a country has been vritually destroyed then the wealthiest and most powerful nation on earth can definatley afford ensuring every citizen has health coverage. Every nation on earth relies on the US economy and so can not and will not allow it to go bankrupt again.

  • I have had several operations and alot of care under the NHS which i could not otherwise have afforded It. People in England are not afraid of the NHS and certaintly don't find it a mistake. The NHS is for anyone to have access to medical services when they need it and pay back (thorugh taxes) when and if they can. I volunteer on a elderly patients ward and all the patients are well cared for. People can also still go private if they choose to and there arent queues for life or death treatment

  • OK, lets cut though it. I now live in the States, national health care for the masses is a big mistake, all the freeloaders get it for free, all the working people have to pay WTF. The UK health service was once great but now we have 1 million KNOWN illegal immigrants who have ruined it along with the schools, dentists crime rates

  • @august251976 everyone gets free healthcare on the NHS, even people who work

  • @Rachel19774 read my comment again, i live in and was talking about the States. Clearly everyone gets it free in the UK. Even the health tourists, illegals etc - it worked when it catered for people who deserved it - people who had been born in and/or paid taxes in Britain. NHS schemes do not work anymore, people have become more mobile from other countries and abuse it

  • @august251976 ah sorry i read it wrong. The NHS does still work though, problems with abuses is a seperate issue to whether to give national healthcare (well seems to me that it is anyway)

  • @Rachel19774 I dunno rach - did you know people who work in the nhs have the highest number of sick days off - on average about 25-30 days a year. My mate used to work there he said it was full of people abusing the system (workers). I remember christmas day 2008 when i had to go to the hospital and had to wait 8 hours because the ward was full of people who just should not of been there. Thats wrong.

  • He makes sound points, but the NHS is a sacred cow in Britain, and rational debate gets thrown out of the window because those who dare to criticise the NHS are accused of wanting to murder old and young people, and wanting to let people starve and freeze to death. If Britain could have a proper, sound debate on the provision of healthcare, we'd have a much better system.

  • How dare he compare us to Zimbabwe! He's got nothing on the NHS. Oh and I bet Hannity only reads the Sun's page 3!

  • How dare he compare us to Zimbabwe! He's got nothing on the NHS

  • dan hannan is full bullshit just here.

The national heath care system in england is one of the best instiutions in england

the national health care system came in the second worst era as far as money goes in england. i mean forget this recession, we had so much war debt after the war. usa just has no clue.

  • someone like Daniel Hannan shouldnt be allowed to hold office born with a silver spoon in his mouth and no real life experience talking about the brilliant NHS. Like commontata says hes probably never even seen an NHS hospital and has some very expensive private health insurance.

  • lol this guy is a joker

  • Fuck of hannon you tory wanker

  • @SPYYYDERPIG FINALLY SOMEONE'S SPEAKING SENCE!

  • Daniel Hannan is a complete cunt.

  • the NHS has its flaws like any other system, but I'm damn glad it's here. daniel hannan and his rich tory pals are fine without it, but the poor are not.

  • @jovialduke Exactly! Like all organisations with budgets running into the billions, there will be flaws, but its still a great system

  • 'Prime Minister of England.'

Once more Fox news mixes up Britain and England.

  • @cmwissy Just America in general! I don't know why but Americans can't seem to get it through their thick skulls that Great Britain consists of three countries (England, Wales, Scotland). The United Kingdom consists of four countries (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Which is why on UK passports it says. "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"

  • Leave it to Fox to bad mouth shit they don't know about. The British healthcare system is a lot better then the current American health care system, many in the USA cannot afford healthcare, so are forced to suffer, where as in Britain you have the choice to use the public healthcare system (NHS) or have private medical care.

  • 54 seconds in and i can see already he is a brown nose bastard

  • the nhs is fine

  • Pair of cunts!

  • What a pile of right wing reactionary ****

  • This guy is a nobody over here! As soon as he did this the his party distanced themselves form him! People stop off here from the USA to get treated on their way to their hols! Fox is one hell of a biased channel!

  • Hannan. Shut up you toilet.

You are a disgrace to the UK.

Tell you what, we'll ALL GO PRIVATE on the proviso that you make industry pay everyone £100,000 a year.

  • Great Britain isn't a country you utter douche.

  • i get my asthma inhalers for free thanks too the NHS.. how is that a bad thing??

  • Question: Is there anyone watching this who HONESTLY believes that, if given the choice, the British would trade their health care system for ours?

  • @JRserver No, but we'd trade it for German or Dutch health care which is a lot more privatised than ours.

The problem with Americas stems largely from trade union and state control, however.

  • Obama is the Man.,,,, Fox new and Hannity need to just quit... the only followers these people got is stupid, haters, by the way.. hannity is being investigated for his shady acts right!....LMAO!

  • The NHS is not free. Each individual pays £2000 pounds in tax.

  • Listen to this guy America, he talks a lot of sense.

    Dan Hannan for PM!

  • @pete6256

Fuck off you cunt, the NHS is a good service.

  • @pete6256 Kiss me arse. He is not even an MP.

  • @pete6256 No! He's a toff who's probably never used the NHS! He's a biggot who wants nothing but cash!

  • @pete6256 no he doesn't.

  • To all Americans, I wouldn't listen to this guy if I were you. if you lived here in Britain then you would know that the leader of this guy's party even thinks that his views are ridiculous. and besides, its fox news. most of the stuff they say is rubbish anyway.

  • Ridiculous propaganda. This man is wealthy enough to not want the NHS - he can afford to pay for health insurance, so he'd rather not pay taxes to pay for poor people. Unfortunately, a lot people aren't so lucky, in the UK and in the US.

  • how is it propaganda when someone of a different opinion disagrees with you? weak.

  • Well, firstly he claims that the UK is bankrupt, and that we're going the same way as Zimbabwe, which simply isn't true. He claims that the power of life and death is in the hands of the state, and again, that's not true. It's not a matter of disagreement, it's a matter of lying.

  • well, when he means the UK is going the way of Zimbabwe, he's saying the country is printing more money and spending more of it, thus diminishing the value of the pound and plunging into deficit, which is true. also, when he means the power of life/death in the state, he's saying because healthcare is universal, the resources of the program are circumscribed, thus leading to rationing, loss of choice and control for the consumer, and resorting the state to utilitarian calculus. that is true.

  • well when our economy is in the same state as Zimbabwe's, let me know. And the power of life and death isn't in the state's hands, it's in your own hands. If you don't want the state involed, then go private.

  • people dont listen to this moron waits are never as long as he claims

i am perfectly happy with the NHS

and yes it can have problems but i would rather live in a country with free health care that is still great not perfects but stilll then live in a country where i may have to worry will i alwas be able to afford treatment

  • what's funny about most of the comments here is that it's all just name-calling and ridicule rather than actual discourse and facts. substantiate your claims about the positive aspects of universal health care instead of whining like children because one British politician says the contrary. you aren't furthering your remarks very well for me, who happens to be one of at least half of the U.S. voting population.

  • this guy is such a lier i want him fired from goverment!! my uncle had cancer and his treatment started within a week and hes in the all clear now for 5 years. this guy is a lier and cant be trusted, stupid toff

  • wow, you brits can't spell. I already told off PieINPants about his shananigans, learn to spell and debate. thank God my cousins in the UK were lucky enough not to catch the idiot disease there.

  • @namelessronin Stupid yank, Fox News...No more need be said.

  • @TheNosGothica Go Fuck your momma.

  • @mikentosh Thats rich, coming from a yank.

  • Lies, Lies and more lies. What a twat Sean Hannity knows nothing tory toff

  • What a tit. The tory leader was correct to kick his backside.

  • this guy is an embarrassment to the country.

  • Hannan also makes out that the UK is bankrupt??? AMERICA IS BANKRUPT NOT THE UK. HANNAN IS A LIAR AND MAKES ME SICK!

  • We are bankrupt you moron. Pimco's is reducing its holdings of UK gilts. If there is a mass gilts strike, the government won't be able to fund our debt, which is a lot higher than government statistics suggest when one takes into account the bank nationalisations, pensions liabilities and PFI. Our stock of debt is extremely high. This country has been reduced to a beggar nation by Labour yet again, and again the Tories will have to clean up the mess. Britons never learn.

  • Firstly the Tories would have made a far bigger mess. It was their liberalisation of the banks in the 80s that started the ball rolling. Brown spent to avoid a depression he learn't from the lessons of the Wall St crash and acted quickly. Are national debt is no bigger than it was in at the turn of the century when Britain was the most powerful country in the world. We are suffering because we believed the market knows best. Yet it is now evident it does not.

  • Please distinguish between prudential and process regulation. Lawson increased prudential regulation and got rid of the process regulations.

The market does know best... but the politicians think they know better which is why they forced banks to lend to poor people. Its why we have a central bank system of socialised money instead of a private currency.

  • Do you really think the banks listen to the government. The banks did what was best for their shareholders and their bonuses. Nobody forced the banks to lend to the poor. It was the banks inventing products they couldn't even understand and forcing them on the poor in America that started this whole process. The rich get richer the poor get poorer. The banks were bailed out and are now reaping the bonus culture once again. While 1000s have lost their homes.

  • Banks do listen when governments channel funds into their balance books.

Nobody forced the poor to take these loans.

  • This guy is a LIAR and an EMBARRASSMENT to his own party. People here in the UK despise this traitor. Our NHS is treasured by all here in the UK.

  • no its not, I'm British, I needed to have a scan to find the cause of extreme abdominal pain I was suffering from. On the NHS I was told to wait at least 3 weeks. I told my doctor I had private insurance - I got a scan the next day at a private hospital that was much nicer than any NHS hospital I've been in.

  • I'm sure if youre GP was in ANY doubt you'd have been rushed to hospital. Well done affording private healthcare, most people can't. We currently have choice, in America they have NO chice.

    Yes, the U.S IS bankrupt!

  • Hannon praised the work of John Laughland, a supporter of (genocidal killer) Slobodan Milošević, before Hannon was kicked out of the Europ Parliment for his disruptions.

I really don't think I need to add more to that.

PLEASE Google your Senator & Rep and email them. Tell them we want what our industrial peers have, health ins. at reasonable cost, on a NON-PROFIT basis! NO MORE GIVEAWAYS to Big Pharma and INS COMPANIES. Pls write today!

  • America has such an expensive messed up system. I've lived in the USA both without insurance and with. Both situations are really bad - the fear of losing everything if you are uninsured if you are not covered and being really ripped off if you are. As somebody coming from a country where you are covered it seems as ridiculous not being automatically covered for your medical as having to pay for private insurance for police, firefighters or schooling. You can hardly call Britain socialist

  • The NHS works better in my opinion as you have no insurance company bureaucrats coming between you and your healthcare. It's not true that there are government bureaucrats coming between you and your healthcare because there is not an insurance as such - the doctors are the gatekeepers as they should be.

It really annoys me when I hear all these lies, especially from a fellow Englishman.

  • He is basically full out lying when he says you have to get to the back of the que and there is nothing you can do about it and that you can in no way supplement it with your money. People like him pay a private plan and bypass the NHS, there is that option and he is not telling you this, damn liar paid off by Fox News! It's lies and exaggeration.

  • Okay, I've lived in both countries and this guy is a liar!!!

He is a rich toff who I'm certain has never even seen an NHS hospital because he would without a doubt have a private health plan.

  • @commontata

ok- and where is most medical research being done? oh thats right- not britain!

  • @swu880 its actually performed by Universities and schools, not the private medical sector with the narrow exception of drug companies doing placebo testing which is very minor.

  • @mjohns375

yeah & most of it aint in britain. hell most research can't be done through use of coercion & force hence why 99% of all real world research must be done by the entrepreneurial private VOLUNTARY sector. If u want crappy research, super over priced research, then maybe u can beg some politician or bureaucrat.

  • @swu880 um... the research done in schools and universities is funded by grants paid by the state... so really socialism is giving us all the "real world research" which is done by the so called "voluntary" sector (a made up term by the way). Even private sector research is typically funded by grants. So... really there would be no difference if there were health care. Its paid by the state regardless

  • @swu880 its actually performed by Universities and schools, not the private medical sector with the narrow exception of drug companies doing placebo testing which is very minor. Universities are funded in large part by federal and state government already

  • @commontata Without the NHS and Private health plans more people could afford that "excellent health care."

  • @commontata I don't think you lived there for long. i lived in england for several years and the healthcare there is junk. everytime i went there i had to pay $50 bucks just to see someone and all the times i went i never once saw a doctor because the nhs centers are run by nurses and you will never see a real doctor. i also went for a torn rotator cuff and told me that it was an elective surgery that they dont' have to do but if i want to dispute that it will take up to 36 months

  • We dont leave people to die in the street like they do in America.......Want to know where hannity is now.......back under a stone where he crawled out from. The nerd is a nobody who rents his mouth off for a fee.

  • Care for all is a marxist theory.......What a braindead remark from a braindead Yank. NHS is more a christian theory but being a biggoted right wing anti anything to do with caring type of idiot who is stupid enough to watch trash like Fox news.......no surprise there eh idiot. Anteater......you will swallow anything pal.

  • NHS is NOT bad at all the americans dont know what they are taking about! they dont live in britain

  • yeah, i do, and the NHS isn't great

  • no its not great but its not as bad as they r making out, what would u rather have the american healthcare or our's ? i no what i would choose

  • except it is. cancer drugs on a postcode lottery, excessive waiting times for common procedures...

  • What the hell is going on in our country, so that its citizens can't even use the language properly at all? For both 'its' you need to use an apostrophe, and for 'our's', despite it being a possessive pronoun it doesn't use an apostrophe. And that's not even mentioning the use of Newspeak that litters the post. Why do British people insist on utterly destroying the great language they have inherited? This is beyond pathetic.

  • I do live in Britain. The NHS is a bad idea, based on Marxist principle, and the testimony to the failure of the Marxist principles of communism is that the cold war was won by America rather than Russia.

  • Does anyone know how the new British healthcare system works?

Its all target incentive. If the GPs make certain targets they get massive bonuses. Its buearcrats deciding whats best and not doctors.

Bonuses given if they lower a certain number of people with higher blood pressure. Or if they lower waiting lists.

What happens is the government calls it a success, but people are on waiting lists to get on waiting lists, and arent tested for blood pressure etc until quotas are meet.

  • The public option is not a choice. Taxes are forced, by a government. Besides, why would the Dems give MORE money to the insurance companies they hate so much? Give doctors more power, and they'll compete and undercut each other for prices, making health care much cheaper.

  • No more entitlement programs! No Government option!

  • and we see this same bias against the private sector in many of the moronic arguments for government intrusion into healthcare.

  • Hannity is not smart enough to interview this guy.

  • It is quite amazing to see the number of comments about this one video that show people haven't even bothered to listen to Dan Hannan. He's said in the US exactly what he's been saying in the UK and Europe for nearly 10 years. His facts come straight from the NHS itself. He has NEVER argued that there should NOT be universal care. He has merely had the temerity to suggest that there is a better way and that America should not adopt the NHS, based on the evidence. Why is that so bad?

  • You moron you miss the whole point. Daniel Hannan is being himself thats true. But the fact that he chooses to go on a program and give a very misrepresentative view of the british public and the NHS itself is very disingenious on his part. Yes we know daniel has some love relationship with the conservative right in USA. BTW the US isnt even proposing a NHS so that makes shows how daniel hannan is even stupider to be part of this nonsense. The guy really is an attention seeking prat.

  • It's just amazing to me. If you look at the 17 enumerated powers granted to Congress by the Constitution their policies have been to completely ignore them.

So what happens if they pass something unconstituion??? The President can veto it.

Well what if the President screws up too??? The Courts and chose not to enforce it. If it's not enforced, then it means nothing.

What happens when all 3 branches fail us??? Then it's up to the states, and the people.

Please look into your history. please

  • hannan: bastard, traitor, moron

  • "It does them and the NHS a disservice for Daniel Hannan to give Americans such a negative and partial view. That we can access health care free at point of use, based on need, is something others envy."

-Conservative shadow health secretary Andrew Lansley

"No one should be in any doubt: the NHS is our #1 priority ... It is one of our greatest national institutions and we want to expand it and improve it."

    -Conservative leader David Cameron

  • just to clarify - almost no-one in britain agrees with this stuck-up toff. the doctors (British Medical Association) support it, the patients support it, all the major political parties support it - including the national Conservative Party. this man is an attention-seeking extremist maverick

  • Why does no one ever point out that France's England's and Canada's system are all running deficits and facing the prospect of reform?

#45 in the world bullshit, tell me why does the U.S produce 21 out of the top 40 pharmaceutical companies? Including 6 of the top 10 and 2 of the top 3? (Number 1 and 2?)

3% of the drugs produced in the U.S are funded by the government; go figure.

  • You do understand, unlike Sean Hannity, that France's, England's, and Canada's health care systems are different. Thus they cannot be placed under the rubric of socialized medicine! The British system is the only system, with respect to these three, that can truly be called socialist. Canada and France utilize various forms of a single/multi payer system, which contain both public and private elements. The U.S.'s drug production has no bearing on the system of insurance that covers its citizens.

  • Oh yes Canada and France entertain some private elements, but you see they epitomize the ludicrasy of Obama's "if you like it you can keep it" jumbo. A blood test in Canada at a private Quebec clinic? $800. Basic economics to understand that private and public do not, cannot and never will be able to compete fairly.

Oh and for a Canadian dog (no government involvement in the vet industry) the same blood test costs $10.

And yes the health industry is actually responsible for drug production.

  • Well Daniel Hannan isn't really an objective source to proove the failure of national health care. He's a member of the Conservative Party, so he obviously is against it and focuses on hte failures but not the benefits. Moreover, the system wich Obama wants isn't exactly the one they have in Britain!

  • If there were no NHS, I would have no parents or grandmother at this point in time. Fuck Daniel Hannan.

  • ....cont'd Yes German and czech healthcare si diff to the NHS but its far more similar to the NHS than the US system. and its still soailized. Also hannan said that USA is on path to socialism and bankruptcy. LOL look up this idiots quotes about iceland and now iceland have gone bankrupt. Daniel Hannan is an articulate man but dont confuse this for intelligence. he is a spoilt brat who hasnt lived in the real world. There is a difference between elitism and conservatism and Hannan shows this.

  • lol its very amusing seeing this fox news fame go to this insignificant fools head. Lets clear up a few blatant misrepresentations he made which clearly shows his agenda. 1st off you are not signing over your life or death to the g'ment. In uk there is private healthcare available too. NHS is better than nothing even if you believe the lies these idiots say. 2nd peice of BS Hannan says is he tries to imply that germany and czech dont have socialized healthcare.

  • Ye of course the current American system is much better than the US hence why it's ranked 45th in the world compared to the NHS in Britain which is ranked 18th and did he just try and critisise France... They're no. 1...Daniel Hannan really needs to think where his priorities lie, to Britain or to America, if he dispises our way of life why doesn't he just move...we don't want him, go and marry that fuck wit Hannity!!!

  • F*ck Daniel Hannan and very VERY close friend Sean Hannity.

Some day I hope those two will just get married and get it over with.

  • It'd be interesting to take a look at Mr Hannan's stock portfolio... Maybe that would give a few clues as to why he advocates the position he does.

  • Hannan is a horrible greasy tory cunt. The British NHS is the greatest thing to have happen in the UK. Dont be fooled, his opinions are held by the vast majority in the "Stupid Party" (Tories). If only we could put this fool in front of one of the (they dont exist) death panels. God help us! He's typical of the chinless fuck wits that hold our future in their paws.

  • It's people like Hannan who are revealing the Tories true agenda if they get elected next year. Cameron is devoted to hiding this. God help this country the day the Tories come back.

  • Camerons a carreer politician so will do what he considers popular to stay elected he doesn't really have any views... but If he had to make a choice I think he would be pro NHS considering the experience of his own son he spent a large amount of time in NHS hospitals!

  • ToManyPhones : at least the tories didnt sell off the gold cheap, introduce stealth taxes, the Cash for Honours scandal, and grow the budget deficit.

  • Tragic that someones ego has to come before getting rid of what has been the worst government in living memory. Thanks a bunch Daniel.

  • hilarious! Though i can't telll whether that was sarcasm, honesty, or utter distain of a rather lack lusture and factually void interview about the NHS from a frankly unsupported 'memeber' of the conservatives.

  • I am British and never use the NHS . My family have used them very rarely (births, jabs).

But myself and my family hold the NHS and it's staff in total high regard. We know that the great Dr and Nurses etc are part of a 'calling' . Don't get me wrong ,some of them could do with earning a few more quid. But at the end of the day these people know they have the respect of the vast majority of us.

I'm very much for - Help The Hero's, but can we get behind those who Help The Hero's .

  • I guess Hannan doesn't approve of universal education for children either. Thats another costly state institution.

After all, poor kids can always work, can't they? At least they'll contribute to the GDP that way.

  • That's the normal tory way of thinking.

  • hahaha!! very funny.

  • Comment removed

  • You see when Obama started his healthcare campaign, he was probably thinking that he would be battling civilized political adversaries, not the rabid animals that form the major chunk of the repugnant Republicans these days.

  • I live in England, and I agree with Daniel Hannan. The NHS is a relic of the post war years when the state was all-powerful. The NHS is a communist idea, which as he rightly says is shared by North Korea and Cuba two of the worst run countries on the planet. The idea of America adopting Universal Health Care is basically like the USA saying to Cuba or N.Korea "okay you guys were right, socialisms good". but we all know thats bullocks, socialism sucks.

  • Yeah, that's right, socialism sucks. I guess you're either an ignorant higher earner or are seriously ill-informed and possibly on the dole (a classic socialist ideal). And if you are neither of these, and are a lower earner, I hope you get a serious health condition and go running to this "relic of the post war years" NHS with your tail between your legs. Idiot.

  • Thought about leaving this communist country, I wish you would.

  • 'Bullocks' huh

  • What a cock. He's not representing anyone except his own ego.

  • Hannan is smart dude, liberty minded, wish he was a U.S. congressman, I can think of hundreds I'd replace with him.

  • It is amazing at how British Conservatives have sold out their principles for our conservatism about small government principles! haha They are meant to represent the monarch and the all-powerful state LOL.

  • Some Tories have, but the actual shadow cabinet is barely supportive of small government principles. They have talked about removing bureaucracy in certain sectors, but they are certainly for intervention, especially after the recession was due to a lack of regulation. Taxes probably won't fall by much, if at all when we are firmly back in the back.

  • Good to hear! not every right-winger party must agree with American conservatism! it is a farce

  • Labour took a step to the right in the 90s to get elected, the Tories have had to take a (very small) step to the left in the past few years.

  • Things I have learnt this week - Daniel Hannan is a class A cock.

1 - My grandparents who are all approaching 90 have received excellent care through the NHS

2 - If I chose to, I can go private.

3 - The NHS is free at the point of need, how on earth is this a bad thing?

How can you possibly describe a system that provides health care for all of it's citizens 'evil'? What on earth is 'EVIL' about that? Maybe my ugly yellow rotten teeth have screwed with my brain but that is far far from 'evil'

  • The vast majority of Brits do not agree with Mr. Hannan.

He is full of shit. His career is history and the British conservatives will struggle with that faux endorsed whore riding their coat tails.

  • He has his own opinion; why cant people rationally debate it? He's not a 'traitor', he has some good points. I dont the US system over in the UK either but you cant put the NHS off limits from any improvements.

  • Fair point m8, but its not the fact he's critical of the NHS that's the problem; many people do it and indeed it helps to improve the NHS. Its the fact he has completely misrepresented our NHS in a completely derogatory and unnecessary fashion.

  • Hey right wing Yanks, our UK health service is NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS so crawl back in bed with your relatives or masturbate over your guns, you are usually doing one or the other.

  • Hey, we just thought we'd check in on you now and then to see if you need someone to SAVE YOUR ASS FROM SPEAKING GERMAN AGAIN! Think about that the next time you want us to mind our own business. And if you knew anything, you'd know that the so called "right wing" wants nothing to do with your health care system. So keep it, and you can take the fucking Spice Girls back to, you insignificant little prick!

  • The Second World War was won on the Eastern front by the Russians , you ignorant septic cunt.

  • Hey Cumbriancool, please tell me that you don't honestly believe that the US had nothing to do with pulling your ass out of the fire by entering the war? You can't honestly be that stupid! Oh, wait, maybe you can! And if you noticed anything in my comment (responding to Spankoid) it is that it's fine for you, we don't want it here. So keep your health care, your fine quisine, your advances in dentistry. And since we shouldn't comment on your NHS, you shouldn't comment on our TV shows, fucktard!

  • Ok , we've got bad teeth and you're all fat cunts. Fair ?

  • Yeah when you 'saved our arse' from the war, you were 3 years fucking late.

  • Quisine etc hahahahahahah , what a fucking dunce. Duh , me American me like guns and fat people.

    Fat cunt.

  • Thought we'd give you a chance to not be pussies. It had been a long time since we'd kicked your asses and figured you might have butched up a little. Sorry we underestimated.

  • I hope you're not judging an entire nation based on a youtube comment, that would be very stupid.

  • Jealous...
