@bricky99 If you were kept in a shed with a good diet and water would you be happy? If that is as someone says, a winter shed, what will happen to them in summer, will they go out to pasture?

Maybe farmers should be stating their case in a less hostile way, As for badgers that isn't a cut and dried issue at all ,places where they had a badger cull bovine tb has not been affected. More answers are needed before we start ruthlessly killing native wildlife - again.

That's a realy well maintained set up, they seem alot than our cows up to their knees in muck in a wet field along a hedge shivering. You people need to spend a month on a farm, we treat these animals better than you keep your pets cause they make us money.

You steal their babies - Send the males off to slaughter and kill the mothers at a fraction of their life expectancy - Almond milk, rice milk, oat milk, soy milk are all delicious alternatives to pus-filled, cruel dairy products.

@beaelliott you know what grow up. the amount of products that need cow's milk is unfathomable, your full of it thinking that the world can exist without using animals to feed us. there isn't the space nor the money to do that. we can't tak the same amount of energy out of the food that a cow eats. but we can take it throuh milk and meat, get over yourself and realise the world can't always be what you want it to be.

@blackflower75 look go eat grass and see what happens, you'll die from starvation cause your not a ruminant and you can't digest it, ever wonder why corn comes out in your shit?? same thing, cows have a completley different digestive system to us, for the pure reason to be able to digest plants and forage, where our own digestive systems can handle plants after we process or cook them, but is more adapted to digesting meat, you want natural, eat meat when it's available.

@JCB411abuser Why would any human want to eat grass? There is an abundance of plants/ vegetables that humans can eat raw, which is actually a much more natural and healthy way to eat.

I personally have no issue with eating tasty animals , in moderation , and as part of a real balanced diet. What I do have an issue with , is a disgusting meat and dairy industry that tortures, mutilates , and abuses millions of innocent animals every year in the name of profit.....

@blackflower75 ... Milk boiled and pasteurized , and filled with antibiotics and god knows what else really isn't healthy is it? Are you trying to tell us that it was a good idea to feed animals on other animals , with the result being vile diseases like CJD and BSE developing as a result destroying countless animals and human lives all over the world? Then we have animals e.g pigs, sitting in their own shit , contained in tiny spaces , chewing each others ears and tails off . The list goes on.

@blackflower75 there is still bse in ireland and there hasn't been meat and bone meal here for over a decade. and there is no antibiotics in milk, all milk is tested before being pasturised for antibiotics, if there is antibiotics in the milk it is dumped and the farmer is given a fine. my point still is that while yes these plants and vegetables are edible to humans, our digestive system can't extract the same amount of energy from it as a cow's digestive system.
