  • Speaking of Bushnell... see if you can score an interview with him! I'd love to get his insights on vintage games/business/legalese.

  • You can't play a game if it's still in the shrink-wrap...

  • this guys should review a game, they have such chemistry

  • whoa i had no clue tommy was a geezer

  • @glogolf 43 ain't old man.

  • When he brought out ultra pong and he said all the titles. Who else thought of Street Fighter XD

  • This is the first time that i see that CGR guy

  • wow i remember this dude tommy tallarico from early 2000 when he was regularly interviewed by gamer.tv..so weird seeing him after so many years- he looks so scrawny now :/ good seeing him nonetheless

  • @70Cent Yeah he's lost weight. I used to watch him on G4 back when that was an acronym for Gamer all the time. He used to review games with another guy who's name I forget at the moment and it was one of the highest rated shows on the channel back then. They used to show reruns of starcade late at night which was awesome for seeing early arcade games in their prime before the video game crash.

  • Man, I wanna try out all these old game systems.

Colecovision was the first console / game I ever played on at a cousins house. And the first console my parents ever got us was a Nintendo. Which still works to this day.

  • I had a Vectrex until I broke the screen :(, and I'm born in '83.

  • Wow... "beware, imaaa 70s guy!"

"And my favorite handheld is a Sega Nomad."

Damn that one was quite a surprise! :-) I love Tallarico even more now.

  • @AMYuntold Real Gamers go with the Genesis for that long lasting satisfying refreshing experience even 20 years later.

  • i have a telstar alpha :D and it works

  • Wow the microvision. I was born in 1981 and I did not even know of this small device. My first handheld gaming system was the gameboy.

  • @spspear81 Microvision didn't last long on the market because they broke easily due to the way you swapped the cartridges out and the screen had a tendency stop functioning after heavy play.

  • I didn't know Mark was only in his 30s. He looked to me like he's in his early 40s. :P

  • I didn't think it would be possible, but Tommy is as cool as Mark!

  • FYI,the micro-vision was designed by the same guys who invented the Vectrex.

  • i bet Mark was so happy when Tommy held up his Vectrex!!! FTW!

  • great interview.. these two should do a mainstream show! miss Tommy on G4 in 2002-2004 before the channel started to suck (damn you Tech TV)

  • I think Markis in love with that microvision... reviews incoming? :D

  • I had a microvision. I broke it. :(

  • Every time Tommy brought out a new thing and Mark's face just lit up, I had to smile. Great interview!

  • I thought Tommy was cool based on the first three parts, but his funk level seriously just skyrocketed.

  • LOL THE VECTREX

  • It's nice to hear that Tommy still place Earthworm Jim on the SEGA Nomad! That took me by surprise!

  • 6:20 Uncensored curse word? Only other time that happened was in the Duke Nukem: Forever review. But that was intentional.

  • My brother and I picked up a Vectrex from Toys R Us just when it went on clearance in '84 for $49.99 and all of the games were only $9.99! We loved Star Trek, Armor Attack, Clean Sweep,

and Mine Storm of course. It was such a unique system and still holds up today because of it's sharp vector graphics. They are hypnotizing!

  • Damn, he's one hell of a collector.

Mark should interview Nolan Bushnell next. Or just someone older than Tommy who's also making an impact n the gaming community.

  • "That´s a vectrex isn´t it?" hahaha hilarious

  • I knew Mattel made a handheld console with carts, but for the life of me, I couldn't think of the darn name!

  • Vectrex: Pwning all other game consoles since 1982.

  • @WebVManReturns Yep best console of the 80's.

  • marks jelly

  • I have a little stick too.

  • ha I Loved the way Tommy Said your Out that was funny

  • "This is a Vectrex."

This guy is clearly not familiar with CGR. :P

  • Awesome! I didn't know Tommy is a collector. Those systems and games sound very obscure to me (born '88) but nonetheless very interesting.

  • Wait, wait! Mr. Tallarico was 43 years old in 1970? Man, he would be 85 years old by now!

Okay, I'm joking! That's just me.

  • This layout is just awful. Nearly missed this one because it was hidden behind small text.

  • I played the Microvision way back when I was a kid. It was awesome!

  • this guy made my favorite game ever...wild 9

  • I wish games were still simple and to play with friends they had to be over your house playing split screen. Good times.

  • Great stuff! Games were simplistic back then, but still fun. Today we're spoiled with great graphics and some people won't play a game if the graphics aren't on par with the times. Regardless if the gameplay mechanics are great.

  • 36...mark is old

  • @speXnce You seem mad, for some reason...

  • @DramCommentorPivot Not mad. Was just enlightening. I would've used "exclamations (!)" if I was mad. ;)
