  • Man do I miss the 90's.

  • Music today just isn't what it used to be. There was a soul to the music of the 90's, and this of any genre. Nowadays, it seems like all music is soulless and for the sake of making a quick buck. A shame, really.

  • I forgot about Soundgarden. Memories!!!

  • 60's-90's best music and i miss catdog :( lol

  • i was born on 1990 . congrats

  • one of the best things about the 90s to me was Nickelodeon and MTV when they played practicality everything you showed...plus beavis and butthead...period

  • i'm 16 yrs old and my music is alternative, pop punk and pop rock in the 90's era

    F*** justin bieber.

  • @CollectiveShit Why can't you just like your music, without talking down to the music you don't like? I know punk music is about whining about everything, but come on...

  • Aren't you guys kind of hypocritical I bet in the 90's younger people thought it was cool and the people from the 80's thought it was bad

  • Thanks for the post.

  • eheh those days...i was on 3 nirvana's concerts, metallica, iron maiden...and there were good croatian bands

  • get over it and enjoy what you have. the grass isn't always greener.

  • 90's so simple, everything was so much better, such good times, please 90's come back.

  • All those songs I remember. Esp. Creep, I love that song! I lived in a time... when music was played with instruments.

  • Nice picks, but I also liked the Manchester bands of the 90's!

  • lol i pwn at cod . There is still great hip hop if your not caught up in btching about mainstream. Pokemon seriously ? I guess im a 80's kid born in 81 and grew up with real hand drawn cartoons like voltron and transformers , mask and gi joe , top cat and atom ant ect

  • The 90's was the last great scene for Music. The real MTV was alive then. Now, it is basicly RTV ~ Reality Televison. Were did music go?

  • @agentakb Check out fuse they are the new MTV

  • @arrianne negative fuse sucks now when fuse started in like i think it was 03? when it constantly played music pretty much non stop it was the new mtv but then sadly if suffered the same cruel fate that vh1 and mtv suffered

  • @agentakb FUCK IF I KNOW!!!!

  • Wasn't a fan at all with MTV as a kid only watched Daria, but now i totally wished it was like it was in the 80's and early 90's, just plain music. Now i want to strangle all those stupid shows they have on now. But i do like Teen mom and true life

  • I'm so glad I was born during the 90s and not the 21st century.

  • @Nicole3900 Me too :D

  • @Nicole3900 wooord

  • @Nicole3900 same 1995 right here!

  • @Nicole3900 Yet you probably never listened to a single song until the 2000's

In order to appreciate music from the 90's as it came out, when it came out, then you either had to be born in the late '70s or early '80s

  • @quiksilver78 True but I was also talking about just the fact that I was lucky enough to have my first 4-5 years in the 90s. Because electronics weren't really popular, and I had a real childhood, with playing outside all the time (instead of on the computer, like today). But you're right about the music. But at least I can appreciate it now.

  • @Nicole3900 Yeah sorry, I didn't mean to single you out like that but it's just a pet peeve of mine when people get nostalgic over something they never experienced first hand. In the end though, it is never too late to appreciate good music :)

  • @quiksilver78 i wasborn in the first half of the 90s and i appreciate the 90s music sooo much!!!

  • @quiksilver78 true dat! 80's babies 4eva! lol

  • @Nicole3900 you were born IN the 90's? GTFO youngster!!!!!

  • @beamo817 LOL

  • I think guitar hero ruined most of the songs. When i hear them i just get sick of em

  • after watching this... i turned on the tv, watched the MTV channel.

    and -facepalm-

  • SMASHING PUMPKINS!!! All these bands are great though. Maybe someday there will be another 90's era....

  • I still own commodore 64! 90's rocked ! :D

  • i miss the 90's this era sucks

  • anyone remember those WWJD (what would jesus do) Bracelets haha!! SUPER SOAKERS!!!!!!!!! or the NERF Bow and Arrow hahah! ya! oh man POGS!! i had the hugest pog container! had to be like 4 feet!

  • @doctorpapaya Agreed. I call myself a 90's kid more because I identify with a lot of 90's music (rock especially) but I was only a small child when they started so a lot of the early 90's are sort of a blur to me. I started High School in '00.

I think it should go by when you start High School as what is when most people are first getting into music, fashion, etc. (though I still consider myself a 90's kid because music from that decade has had way more influence over me than the 00's!)

  • @incognito84 i was born in 96.. should be sad for me. i didnt get to live through any of the good music. or i cant remember it .. i hate the crap that comes out now

  • @doctorpapaya I remember jamming to RHCP, coco jambo, Stone temple pilots and Alice in Chains when I was 7. Those the first tones of music that entered my mind so fuck you and your theory, Im a 90's kid and I was born in 91'.

  • black hole song (epic)

  • I completely agree with your list.

  • Who doesn't love the 90's?!?

    <3 90's

  • i agree 90z music was the shit mind yu i was about 8 or 9 but i remember my uncles listen to all the different music fukin incredible compared to all this new garbage

  • @brennanbrown123 yup the music died a while back. If music was a human being then by the 90's it was an old crippled dude with Alzheimer's barely hanging on. I'd have to say music fully died at the dawn of the century that's when the final bit of soul was sucked out now your listening to music's lifeless corpse

  • Black Hole Sun music video is trippy.

  • Alanis!

She has the most sold album in the ninety'

  • the 90s: great music, i was a kid, wwe was wwf, better shows on TV (pokemon the 1st ever episodes with 150 pokemon), the basic game boy color, n64 n playstation non off the stress of games like COD n also the world trade centers were still standing (R.I.P)

  • @thewhitecowboy damn straight brother

  • @thewhitecowboy I say we boycott MTV!! I already do!

  • @ThunderGun21 i did too its MUSIC television not... jersy shore or whatever with the guidos...or thats vh1...whatever i boycot both i just use paladia

  • @thewhitecowboy actually MTV before they stopped actually playing music...they were playing emo crap and other shit there was barely any rap or pop being played

  • @thewhitecowboy MTV doesn't even play videos anymore, does it?

  • @kdixon7783c nothing good just p diddies new grp of flunkies.... shoot me now

  • @dmegret83 Yeah but you have all this great music to look back on. I was coming up in the 90's and me and my friends had fun hanging out in record store trying to find good sounds. Now its all done online and that kind of fucks up the whole deal.

  • @kdixon7783c sometimes during the credits of shows they throw a really cheap promo for some up and coming rapper guy. That's about it

  • @thorbert I'm just going to say this because it needs to be said. STOP WATCHING MTV!!!! It's a farce. It's become corporate like everything else and has had the soul sucked out of it.

  • @thewhitecowboy You are totally right ... They should stop trying to decide what we should listen. This is not freedom when I have only 2 options : MTV and TMF ... freedom implies have the real choice.

  • @thewhitecowboy say that again, the music from now is all crap.

the music from the 80s and 90s away much better

  • 80s and 90s music even got stuck in my sister's head. she's born 1997 but she even knows songs from 1992-1998 and remembers them better than lady gaga ans that stuff...that was true music then =/

  • Other than the smashing pumpkins and alice n chains good list of tunes (thanks you for not having Metalicca over rated radio band) {what's a radio band, only their good ones make it on the radio, when you buy the album you say shit this sucks}

  • Smashing pumpkins is horrible....

  • @Jayman135861 that song isnt as good by them. check out zero , cherup rock, and zero. see if those dont change your mind. ;)

  • See we got ourselves some true grunge fans here!

  • I loved every song on here and knew every word. I think that this kind of music should come back. something real.

  • Everyone miss the 90's,but u know what, we cant bring the time back......

  • great choice, thanks, I grew up with this music and sometimes I do miss it!!

  • The funny part is people claim that 2day's music suck when in fact alot of bands from the 90's stil continue 2day so they are part of 2day's music. Stil doesnt make 2days music better than 90's. & the good bands I was talkin bout were metal

  • Terrible list.

  • @ESPINOZA316 I agree

  • When I was a kid, in the 90's, I always wanted to travel to the future to see what I would look like. Now that we are in the future, I not so positive about it anymore. I actually want to go BACK now.

  • Such a great moment to remember .... Beautiful

  • if we educate the kids of today about yesterday maby just maby the ninetys will be born again. maby not in the same way but possible in a similar spirit.

  • @kwa8591 you want to educate people and you spelled maybe wrong

  • wheres the teen spirit???

  • i miss headbangers ball

  • well done, a excellent set

  • Fuck why am I seventeen now :( If anybody isbuilding a time machine, id be happy to help

  • @lobyte sorry you were so late to the party.. :(

  • @TheTvstuff

Thank you for your sympathy ^^ Stupid 2010 >:(

  • the thing ive learned wen it comes to any form of rock music. the uglier you are the better your band lol

  • Oh, how the modern era of music sucks...bring back the 80's and 90's.

  • @Scare4irony the 80's for the most part sucked too

  • @SGGreenman

I'm A ban sperrl.. you're so smart. maby you should teach..in fact, I think u might just be the first person to ever correct my spelling.I bet your a regular einstein.. wow, thanks for correcting me, lets be freinds.

  • @kwa8591 uhhh what? i think u got the wrong person

  • @LauraSwtBriar no u

  • @LauraSwtBriar 80s was a fucking horrible time in music history and should never be talked of.

  • @Jayman135861 You're a horrible time and should never be talked of. Why don't you quit being so brainwashed and realize you're stupid teenage years weren't immune to being made fun of.

  • @Jayman135861 80s is when hiphop became famous. what are you talking about??

  • the world was a better place before the genre RNB was created...lol

  • I think one of the reasons the mainstream music today sucks is that little girls/tweens now have a more buying power from their parents unlike the 90's hence the Mileys, Biebers and Taylor Swifts dominating the charts.

  • @jdlaw001 i tottally agree broski

  • Anything that isn't on vinyl isn't worth listening to - John Travolta

  • I'm proud to be a 90's kid!! Every1 is still clinging 2 it even if they werent around for it!! sorry y2k's but u hav nothing to show!!

  • nirvana one of the best 90's band

  • itz like a newly launched laptop that doesn't event compare to itz predecessors...

sad how the music scene has moved backwards nowadays.. everything is so commercialized now, no more freedom express good music.. 90s music was really good.. every song was unique back then, now everything sounds similar(copied from the previous best selling album).. Hope the music makers of this decade can really wake u and DO SOMETHING... juz my $0.02..

  • wow i think every decade leaves an impression with music, but the 2000's have nothing to show, maybe there was some good bands early but they didnt leave too much impression now, they left it in the 90's, what 2000's have to show is

jonas brothers, miley cyrus, lady gaga, and lots more

not saying all are bad though like

Salvia, Blink 182, sum 41, but they were also there in the 90's so they have that impression + im 14 so i think its sad on what i have to grow up with.

  • @TheToasterTV I must agree. Like I listened to 90 musics on my own, since I was a 90's kid, and everything from the 80's my parents played. But now just ugh.. Not all of it, just the stuff on the radio and mainstream, and it's just.. not so much the music itself is bad, but there's not beat . It's just it either has no meaing in the lryics, or the artist don't sing with passion. And alot of it sounds the same. Some of it's good though. But I miss it this music. Radio needs to play more of it.

  • born in 92, which still isnt old enough to enjoy Nevermind when it came out...90s forever

  • i was 14 when i first seen black hole sun man was that ever trippy for me well i was tripping out on shrooms

  • i was born in 1995 so i was not even born for some of this music but still enjoy it

  • Good on ya. :)

  • DAMN!!!

  • all the songs were awesome besides nirvana and fiona apple, im a 90's baby, born 1990 and im now 20 so this is my music but for some reason nirvana disgusts me
