I especially like the argument that society has convinced us that quitting is difficult.
One thing I think could have mentioned in the book, or asked is; Who is telling us it is difficult to quit and what do they stand to gain by keeping us addicted?”
Whether it is our friends who are still smoking, manufacturers of cessation products, like gums an patches, the tobacco industry, pharmaceutical companies, marketers, advertising companies etc, I think we can figure out the answer.
He even hands the poisons round so that no-one is distracted by the cravings while they listen - talk about genius -this man was a true innovator -he changed the way I thought about poison for good - Easy when you are helped to see what is happening WAY - AHEAD by miles..... Like Gallileio or Newton etc.- ......... true Genious lives FOREVER
Another success story: I was able to stop a very heavy 34 year 50-100 a day addiction using Allen Carr's book. At 52 and almost 2 years free I feel better than I have my whole adult life. Even if it turned out that smoking wasn't bad for your health after all, packs of smokes were free and smoking magically no longer made you stink I wouldn't go back to it. I had no idea that being a non-smoker could feel so good! To celebrate I just created a facebook group: Stop Smoking Salon. All are welcome.
RIP allen carr, and thank you. I read your book and I quit smoking, thank god so early (I had been smoking for only 6 years ) and I am now watching how the damage is getting repaired, enjoying breathing much better, feeling energetic, no more bad breath, no more smelly clothes, no more fear, or dependence and slavery ... I feel good already and it's been only a couple weeks
thanks allencarrseasyway. the audio is a bit distorted. I see these are old clips, but if there is any chance of "reworking" the audio then that'd be good. Overall these are great video clips. Allen Carr (RIP) - i love your book!

I just finished the book, and I can't believe how emotional it made me, but it's overwhelming how good I feel already.
