  • Ok wait wait wait

people are arguing that this is wrong?

FUNFACT FOR YOU DUMB FAGGOTS:Foxes use to be mans first pet, yep thats right they were man's first best friend, of course man eventually went with dogs because foxes are sly and curious

  • Foxes get poached by poachers. So how is taking care of one "wrong"?

A domesticated fox is basically designed for person who loves cats & dogs.

Foxes don't get very big, and they a much more agile, swift, and delicate like the cat. Yet it has the instincts and traits of the canine.

A fox would make nice bomb squad or drug searchers if u can breed that characteristic in them, because they are much more nimble and flexible so they could squeeze into places where most dogs couldnt.

  • where can I get a fox?

  • Psycho foxeh!!

  • I'M IN THAT CUTE PART ON YOUTUBE AGAIN :)

  • awwwwwwwwww

  • He is so Cute! I love how he jump X)

  • i want a little firefox too

  • i think i just died a little ... it's so cute youtube T^T you make me want so much

  • that was legen..wait for it.... .... dary!

  • you are watching fox news o.o

  • I could'a swore I had cancer before this video...

  • 0:28: is someone watching me?...Naaaaa

  • You did name her Mikoto right? NAME HER MIKOTO!!!

  • this is so damn cute ahah! :P

  • It acts like a squirrel cat hybrid. :)

  • Do a barrel roll.

  • Little black ears and feetsies and the jumping and the squee

  • That little cutie looks like a rabbit! ;)

  • but life is better for them in their natural habitat :( they should really be careful on who buys foxes because they have wayy different personalities than dogs and cats and are alot naughtier and hyper.

  • @silvercherri1 They live longer in urban environments / as a pet than in the wild.

  • SOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!

  • OOMMMGGGG CUTENESS OVERLOOOOAAADD

  • =3

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :D

  • foxes seem to act more like a household cat than a dog... even tho they're canines

  • people most of the people that has a fox they didnt really recued it they have em for a pet.and a normal dog is more dangerus than any other canine.scintest no that for sure

  • love that little fox and want to take it home

  • People who are saying that 'wild' animals shouldn't be pets, think about this:

Lord Byron (1788-1824) kept a tame bear while he was a student at Trinity. He also kept a fox, four monkeys, a parrot, five cats, an eagle, a crow, a crocodile, a falcon, five peacocks, two guinea hens, an Egyptian crane, a badger, three geese, a heron and a goat with a broken leg. Along with a few dogs and horses.

Don't see people complaining about him, do we?

  • Too cute for my mortal eyes.

  • I absolutely love how foxes leap.

  • "Vuk, a róka" :D

  • ....IMA DIE FROM CUTENESS FFFFFFFF--

  • I want a PET FOX :(

  • A lot of foxes are bred for captivity, so to say that keeping a fox is cruel is a little inaccurate. It's far more crueler to breed it, look after it and then poison it for use as a scarf.

  • i have an American Red Fox {V. Vulpes} Pet. I got him when he was nine months old!

    1. Red foxes have not been 'domesticated' fully yet, however, 'silver' foxes have.

    2. FOR MOST PEOPLE, FOXES ARE NOT GOOD PETS. Foxes are very moody, and can be quite destructive at times. Sometimes, the ball of fluff likes to tear apart your couch or other things But, if taken care of properly, Foxes can be an amazing pet.

IT'S NOT 'CRUEL' TO OWN A FOX. You don't have to approve of it, but it's not cruel.

  • 0:33 * Correction: ALL of this is the best part :3

  • I like how people think it's "wrong" to domesticate a fox when going by this hairbrained logic we probably should never have domesticated our everyday dogs and cats hundreds of years ago just because they were considered "wild" at one point too. As long as the fox is taken care of just like any ordinary pet who cares?

  • @RarityLover the problem is that seems to be a relative minority of people who try to domesticate wild animals. a lot of people give up and try to release the animal back into the wild with any number of ramifications. take florida and the snake problem. people had pet snakes from a different region of the world, released them somehow, and now the snakes are killing off ALL other wildlife, predator and prey alike.

  • @xxbanyruuxx Yeah, but a fox doesn't grow into a fucking batshit insane reptile. Besides, most people who have a fox probably rescued it and know what the fuck they're doing, people who by alligators and release them are usually meth addicts or stupid fucking kids.

  • @RarityLover Oooh, longer than that. The dog was domesticated well around 15,000 years ago in the Mesolithic era. Old habits and all that I guess. I agree with your statement. As well as the animal is well kept for and is happy with the owner, people should just sit down and shut up.

  • Where in the hell did you get a fox kit?!

  • where do you live?!?!?! where is it legal to have a pet fox?!?!?! is it legal in ohio?!?!? I WANT ONE >.<

  • People who think this is 'cruel': you should probably know that all domesticated dogs have either a wolf ancestor or a fox ancestor (or both) so there's a good chance that any dog you own is very close to this little guy

  • It's always funny how foxes do the "mouse pounce."

  • I heard foxes make great pets, just like a dog or cat I don't think its cruel to kept them as long as you have them as a baby.

  • World's best animal species,in my opinion...

  • THAT LOOKS LIKE THAT LITTLE FOX IS TERRORIZED!IT SHOULD BE WARE IT BELONGS OUT IN THE WILD WERE IT CAN BE EATEN BY OWLS OR BEARS!!!!!!!!!!.........

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT. THIS LITTLE FOX LOOKS PERFECTLY FINE SO WHAT EVER TO THE PEOPLE That think it should be in the wild.

  • aww, that little one sure loves jumping X,,D

  • Awww!!! Whadda cutie pie! XD It's so cute! XD

  • its sooo cute!!!

  • all you people who think this is "cruel" you dont know what your talking about, they are good pets and they like people, i bet you wouldnt say having a cat as a a pet is cruel

  • @snooupii In fact there is emerging evidence that before humans domesticated wolves (i.e. dogs) and bred them as pets, ancient people bred foxes for companionship. They even went as far as to be buried with their pet foxes; presumably to have them in the afterlife.

  • @snooupii I don't understand why anyone would find this cruel, many animals have potential to become pets or useful aids, just like us humans took wolves and used them to pull sleds with important supplies or horses as well. There's nothing cruel about having a pet or useful aid especially if you rescue them and they cannot return to the wild. Also, animals are not like us, so having a fox whose not use to the wild won't think anything of it, he'll be happy with his human family.

  • @Shadowlooker12 i totally agree

  • @snooupii hey if they were legal in michigan i would have a fox too, they're like a cat/dog mix if that makes sense and they're SO FRIGGEN CUTE! XD

  • @jango2011 They are legal in Michigan Only red foxes aren't since they are native here.

  • How do you get a pet foxe nd WTF this fox is more safe being a pet how the fuck do people say its cruel yes it is a bit cruel he is not with his mother but maybe his mother was fuckin RIPPED APPART from hounds now do you think its cruel to take care of a fox and loving it or it to be attacked by hounds ripped to threads why it is still alive or it hunting happily and randomly get shot so GO FUCK YOUR SELFS !!!!!! And to me he looks happy enought!!!!

  • WTF PPL. ITS EITHER, OH NO STOP KILLING ANIMALS THEY ARE LIVING CREATURES OR YOU CANT CARE FOR ANIMALS CUZ THEY ARNT MENT TO BE CARED FOR. MAKE UP UR MINDS OMFG

  • Such an adorable big eared, playful, agile little thing! :D

  • d'awww :3 is it a tod or a vixen?

  • AAAWWW~

  • There is nothing wrong with having a fox as a pet as long as it can be properly cared for. How do you think we ended up with dogs, cats, birds, etc as pets? Lemme tell you, they were born on this Earth tame. :/

  • if u can tame this animal, by all means, but if u can't wouldn't be suggested. they should really have laws against hunting you know, im sick of this shit already. animals killing and eating other animals is okay, but us (yes i know we're animals) slaughtering them for sport is just flatout out fucking stupid

  • @Fuckdisworld93 Yes, it is.

  • Cute :D

  • quite a nimble creature

  • I love foxes, i love their colour and how they are able to ADAPT TO ANY PLACE!!! They can thrive anywhere, EVEN IN HOUSES, so please stop the arguments. =]... Please?

  • fox as pets? its like a jack russell

  • if its a boy, name it james and if its a girl, have the groomers dye her fur blue then name her krystal

  • @sommermyers because the grass needed cutting maybe..?

  • So cute!

  • awww :3

  • i didnt know foxes can b pets O.o

  • im having a cuteness overload

  • i heard foxes will often fuck up your house looking for random items but i was wondering if you got it extremely young and bottle fed it couldnt you do what people who have pet wolfs do and raise it as a dog and have it think its a dog so it dosnt ruin stuff

  • @flamingarse1 yes. you can do that.

  • i want to get one soo bad

  • Sweet! Could anything be cuter or more appealing?

  • Why would anyone dislike this? It's awesome

  • saved to favorites.

  • FireFOX has crashed would you like to unistall it [I really dont want to :P]

  • AWW howd you get him?

  • just a question - was he bitey? The way the fox was playing reminded me a lot of my schipperke, and when he was tiny he loved to bite ankles, toes and hands. If I were to get a fox pet someday, I might be able to handle it like my schipperke.

  • favorite animal

  • @babyyzombie

She is right, it is cruel for this fox to be pampered and have a loving owner. It should be in the wild where it can be hit by cars, poisoned by chicken farmers, or shot by rednecks for being "an exciting hunt." It's totally cruel that its life expectancy is 5 times higher in captivity than it is in the wild.

  • @VulpeRenard You deserve a medal, doc.

  • @VulpeRenard Oh suck it the fuck up, it's a wild animal, things die in nature, god damn people are such hypocrites, talking about how "humans ruin nature", but get up in arms when cute animals die in nature.

  • @MakoVlazkov Ladies and gentleman, it was inevitable considering it's youtube, but meet the first person who missed the point. Let's give him/her a hand!

  • @VulpeRenard Typical animal argument:

    If in captivity:

OMG DATS CRUEL RELEASE IT WHY IT NOT IN WILD!1!1!!!1!

    If in wild:

OMG WHY DEY DIE FROM PEOPLE THEY SHOULD BE LOOKED AFTER!11!!!

= I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

  • @kibapwnz I don't want you to live here either!

  • @VulpeRenard What was your point then? That foxes, wild animals, should not be allowed to die under any circumstances involving humans, and instead should live in humans houses? Face facts, people, humans are part of nature, so when we kill things, it is like any predator that evolves in nature that is so well adapted for survival it wipes out much of the prey that does not adapt to it, humans aren't the only creature to do this, only the first do it so well, Natural Selection, we are the best.

  • @MakoVlazkov My point: Yes, foxes are not domesticated and therefore are not meant to be pets. We don’t need to protect them; they get along fine on their own despite humans. This is a rescued fox, this person isn’t plucking animals from the wild and selling them as pets. If that were the case, then the phony animal activist “DATS CROOL IT SHUD FREE” argument would be relevant, but it’s not here. Foxes should be wild, but due to unfortunate events, this guy will have a longer, safer life.

  • @VulpeRenard and this matters.. how? A pet is a pet.

  • @VulpeRenard & babyyzombie: do you even understand the word cruel? It means that an animal or person is being mistreated or even tortured. Anyone can see that this fox is simply playing with a few toys and looks like he is having a great time doing so. If he was in pain, which suggests 'cruelty' then he would be making distressed noises, shaking, etc.

  • @VulpeRenard And if you want it dead then why would u even care about calling this cruel? You never even considered that fact that he was perhaps taken in as an orphan? So I think its great he is able to live HAPPILY with his owner, as he could not survive in the wild as a baby. Furthermore, all kinds of animals that are kept as pets today were once wild just like the fox, so why can't they also be domesticated & treated as a pet?

  • @VulpeRenard And if you want them dead as you suggest in your comment, then isnt it actually a GOOD idea for people to keep them as pets so that they arnt a nuisance in the wild to farmers? Which is the main reason why people don't want them alive. But if you just hate foxes overall then i'd suggest you stop watching clips titled 'baby red fox playing'. Think before you comment, seriously.

  • @mizzmishka Um, sarcasm? o_o

  • @mizzmishka

Wow, did you ever miss the point. Go ahead and look up my username; Vulpe Renard. Tell me what both of those words get you when you google them. Then go back and reread what I posted. If you're still having trouble, CalicoAdams gave you a hint.

  • Oh my god. This is the cutest thing. <3 What I would do for a little fox kit...

  • i love it!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • i want one <3

  • will u all stop emailing me im just saying what i learned in college and the person hu put the video up told me it wasnt a pet and i accepted it now leave me alone

  • It don't see how this is cruel and inhumane. The fox is having the time of its life. If I was a fox I would choose the comforts and luxury of living inside a house over the harsh world of nature any day. Think about it, cats and dogs get to sit around and do what they want all day and we are the ones who feed them, pay the bills, deal with the IRS. Pets don't have to worry about any of that stuff. Imagine if you could live without those worries.

  • It is legal depending on the state you live in. Some states require a licence and others don't. but foxes can be domesticated. There is a place in northern Indiana that sells domesticated foxes for pets.

  • wow, they're as lithe as a cat, but as much energy as a dog! so cute.

  • If I found a fox I would name him/her Mozilla :)

  • ok so are foxes cats or dogs???!!

  • @booboobunni The red fox is nicknamed the Catlike Canine.

  • @booboobunni dogs

  • @booboobunni Foxes are canines, you dumbass.

  • @booboobunni like a mix of both

  • Comment removed

  • @LittleMissBeth23 He is not a pet. My Great Aunt let him go ages ago. As far as I know, he is probably living happily with a mate.

  • @Sakura1kitsune see thats all i asked :) i didnt want to start an argument all u haters ??

    ♥ Bethhxx

  • @LittleMissBeth23 So it's not cruel as long as you have a license?

  • @LittleMissBeth23 Don't be so grim. The fox cub seems to like it and that's all that counts.

  • @LittleMissBeth23 oh holy Lord, this Red fox looks so tortured. This is such a cruel video. I wish i "knew my stuff" like the lady above me. People can we agree to stop sharing unwanted and negative opinions. It eats at me inside to see ignorant people pretending to know everything about every subject posted on youtube. This little guy looks like he had a great 2nd home. How about THANK YOU to this youtube poster for giving that love to him. Thank you @Sakura1kitsune THUMBSUP!

  • @LittleMissBeth23 It's illegal to keep them as pets, yet it's legal to shoot them. The law sure is trying protect them from cruelty. Foxes absolutely love to struggle for their last gasps of breath after having a bullet lodged in their vital organs.

  • @AzurePrower i dont believe in shooting them!!

  • @LittleMissBeth23 foxes can be domesticated just like dogs. Would you say a dog playing inside is "cruel" to it? Get real

  • @supasean09 no they cant it illegal

  • Nature is cruel and is more cruel then keeping a kit inside of a house where it is pampered and happy.

  • @LittleMissBeth23 interesting. but why are we not allowed foxes as pets but things like dogs cats, fish, birds and rodents aren't against the code...what separates them?

  • @LittleMissBeth23 I may be wrong but I don't think the video description said that he/she lives in the U.K..

  • @kingslefthand You are right. I live in the US.

  • @Sakura1kitsune I see, in that case I think it is safe to say that British law does not apply to you in the States.

  • @LittleMissBeth23 It maybe against the law in Britain but in the US there are indeed some states that allow you to keep Foxes as pets some you may need some type of permit for others you don't need a permit or there completely illegal. I actually know of some people who breed Foxes as pets and those Foxes that are sold by breeders don't know how to live in the wild so they NEED human care. But obviously not for inexperienced pet owners or for a person who has children around.

  • sooooooooooo cute,lQQks like dog,i never seen one live

  • Awww, I want one

  • Homies Unite!

  • M-m-must...h-hug...

  • ME WANT!!!

  • overload of cuteness

  • Fooooox *o*

  • the loyalty of a dog + the cuteness of a cat = a red fox.

  • @zerik12 Foxes are wild animals. They do not make good pets. The best fox you can have is as hard as a naughty dog: foxes like to roam around and cannot be kept in the house/yarn. (so you need a farm) you cannot keep them inside as they are going to tear all you're furniture apart. Just saying. And yeah, I'll love foxes too. but they are not pets.

  • @Generaallucas People aren't pets... So why is your mom my bitch? Go die in a hole.

  • Sooooo cute!

  • AAAAAAAAW! So cute!! =3

  • Two people were relatives of the ball.

  • so is a fox related to both the cat and dog

  • @jawski They're both in the order Carnivora, yes. But foxes are classified under the family Canidae, along with wolves, tanuki, jackals .....and dogs.

  • @KitOnVideo Vulpine? D=

  • I want one so much!!

  • J'adore! Trop craquant

  • Ooooooooooh I wanna play with her! What a bouncy little fox ... :D

  • Nooo, I'm allergic to adorableness...

    *sees video*

    "... awww-"

    *RIP*

  • omg this is so cute that if i were u i would hug that fox into the end :D

  • 2 hens disliked the bouncy fox :(

  • its look like kitten but with the puppy face

  • Brought a huge grin to my face.

  • omg soo cute :) i want a fox how can i get one

  • cute :D

  • haha the way it pounces reminds me of my cat :)

  • I want this baby!!

  • The question I have is which two soulless bastards disliked this video?

  • @r3dman530 Maybe they are some inbred rednecks who got their chickens eaten by some foxes. Oh well, one less dinner for useless rednecks :3 One more dinner for cute little foxes.

  • @onimotoko I'm from Tennesse, and to this I say: AMEN! If the idiots around here would stop cutting down the trees on "their land", which was the fox's to begin with, the foxes wouldn't be starving!

  • just saw a fox in my garden lol

  • Foxes are like cats with doglike heads and legs.

  • Wow, black paws! =)

I never see this here in germany!

  • I WANT ONE

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • wild animals should remain wild
