The ILS on R26 was terribly decalibrated at the beginning of the year and although they tried to recalibrate it, planes still could not rely on it. It should have been back in service by the end of September. Unfortunately, out of some reasons unknown to me, it is still not operational.
The ILS on R26 is CAT II ILS and he is working. The ILS was calibrate in october but he needs to be approved by AAC (Civil Aeronautic Authority). When AAC will approve it, they can be use.
Why didn't they use the ILS on 26 and just land? :)
