I have listened to and loved Robin Williamson's music since 1967, when he led the Incredible String Band. If there is a contemporary incarnation of Talieson, Chief of the Bards, Robin Williamson is that one. Check out the video of Robin Williamson in Concert.
I've been searching everywhere on You tube to see if someone will upload 'Ring Dance' by Robin Williamson. Still no-one has. If anyone does have it, please share! Love that song.
im happy to listen to the music without watching the beady eyed burrowing claustrophobic crammed person himself, or hearing him explain stuff, albeit having been asked to do so. mike heron on the other hand seems a man one could listen to, off mike. its just a feeling.
i turned 15 in the 60's, very alone, a mother's helper in my older sister's home (our parents' idea of a fine plan for the summer, not ours...) and so felt elated when i found the hangman's beautiful daughter in a dollar store bin. i loved to listen & play along, chiming in, to savor the mystical lyrics and layered textures of sound, i wanted to belong to the global village too! to this day the music and lyrics of those old songs thrill and bolster me and inform and sweeten my life.

Robin Williamson, my favorite bard. Such an incredible person, a real visionary, his insight into the human nature has no bounds.
Any Williamson fan has to hear this album: A Glint at the Kindling
