  • i love the clarinet solo that starts at 1:31 SO GORGEOUS

  • great song great band great voice, check out rabbit songs

  • You do a good job with your videos. When are you going to make a new one, it's been a while.

  • 0:11-0:35...automan1950

  • when i smoke a blunt 2 this song its like life stands still

  • It goes great with the liberty mutual commercial and it also stopped me from what I was doing.

  • Yeah, I heard this song from Liberty Mutual, but wasnt cuckoo about it like everyone here. I thought it was a classical music because of the many instruments played...until I realized that it includes a singer. That's when I said "DONE". Liked the way the glockenspiel (2:20-2:48) played, but the singing, hells no.

  • This is a beautiful song . . .

  • am i gay for liking this song?

  • very gay..your handle 'flaminghippo' is even more evidence of this...

    LOL (only joking btw)

  • @flaminghippo99 No ur not.. I love this song and I'm defo 100% not gay! (I think) :¬)

  • im gonna go search for the lyrics...i hope they are as beautiful as this song suggests... :)

  • Gosh I love this couple. :D And the song too. :) Nice vid.

  • Song Meaning: The moderate understanding of the song starts with emotional recalling of events in the artist's life. "what is it that you remember" The man who walks on the highway is the lover she left behind and "staring to the sea" is a form of emotional distress. The scrap of paper denotes the Plane Ticket back to Michigan. "the half an acre" is the home in Michigan.

  • this song is beautiful! i heard it on the commercial and had to look it up.

  • me too

  • @askalligator11 lmao same here! just now.

  • same here mate!! love it

  • i will so admit this that it took a liberty mutual commercial for me to hear this, but it stopped me in my tracks i just stopped what i was doing and just sat there and took this in and it was beautiful. there has only been a couple times a song has done that to me. this is one of those songs, and the other songs they sing are just as good... i hope to hear more

  • @jej0701 Omg, same here lol. I heard the commercial and i was like holy shit what's that song? i love it :)

  • this is probably one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, it just melts my heart when i hear it

  • @CharmedCosmicGem78 and I am surprise you're still alive to make comment.

  • @titaniumrook , Huh, what does that mean? What are you talking about?

  • @CharmedCosmicGem78 you said it melted your heart, according to science, you need a heart to live. Thats what I mean.

  • @titaniumrook Ooh, hehe ;-) good one. you're right! :-)

  • Sally Ellyson is the vocalist. This band, HEM, is from Brooklyn, NY.

  • who sings this song?

  • hem

  • This song makes me remember the times where I felt at peace with myself, and with the world. I really miss those times- And i can't wait until the day where we all realize if for once we stopped hating eachother or ourselves, and started loving, maybe we could stand together, instead of falling over eachother like dominoes- anyways, great song!

  • excellent comment SilentDesolation and excellent post.

  • @SilentDesolation Your comment made my day, AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA, now thats a good one.

  • ok so this song is like the best song EVER and that dancing scene is soooo cute!

  • I think the Liberty Mutual commercials are the best commercials I've seen in a looooong time. I don't get how they spoiled this song.

  • yeah, if anything, they've exposed this song, and now people know about it... so i dont think it was spoiled...

  • Because they're hypocrites.

After being injured on the job a little over a Year ago they've put me through hell.

They deny claims and make injured workers out to be liars.

  • That's the industry for ya. The employees are forced to work as claim misers, paying out as little as possible in order to improve their bottom line.

  • :**) ty

  • omg did you change it??

If so, i miss the other one.. srsly

    i d like it anymore.. :**(

  • ..you realize you sound ridiculous when you type like that?

  • lionsroar, you sound like my mother.. she is over 94 years old.

what amazes me is how someone can say anything hateful while on this particular page.. you must be satan himself.

  • 'omg..' 'i d like it' 'srsly' .. those are not words, that is nonsensical type. Ramblings.

Chill out. It's not hateful at all. Don't have such a thin skin.

  • Why bother saying it. It's not even important.

  • beautiful

  • I love this song. First heard it on the Liberty Mutual commercial and was then fortunate enough to become aquainted with Hem. Great music and band!

  • this song is awesome

  • I love what you did with the video!!

  • Spiiiiiiiiicey!!! Daaaaaaaaaa!!!! Daaaaaaaaaaa!!!

  • The time I first heard this song it really touched me, and the commercial too, where everyone was looking out for each other. Made me want to take care of others, too. I was really touched by what those people did, even though it was just a commercial. :)

Your video is so touching. ^-^

  • same here, it was such a good commercial

  • cool video cool song

  • Great Vid, do you think you could put "The Part Where We Let Go" in a video, the whole song?

  • I like this song, I dislike Final Fantasy.

  • i love this song so much i just love it

  • Why do people make videos with gay final fantasy themes? This game series is dead.

  • Mixed feelings on HEM letting an insurance company use this song... I mean come on. But at least it allowed their music to be heard by people who maybe wouldn't have found them otherwise. But still, an insurance company...

  • i dont know, i mean, as ads go, it was a really awesome ad. And it was really more advertising being a good person than it was liberty mutual. I get the selling out thing, too, but only saying, they definitely could have done worse.

  • love this song and youll be hapy to no that i first heard it and first liked it from a liberty mutual commerial

when its people who do the right thing they call it being responseible when its an insurance company they call it liberty mutual

  • Great song and video, thanks!

  • cool

  • awesome i love this song a guard i know is doing it

  • Very nice. ><; I have been looking for this song for a long time.

  • Great song. I know it is Hem, but sounds so much like Beth Orton
