harry and hermione really need each other. they are best friends, and harry is, most of the time, helping her cope with sadness and pain, most of the time by ron. best friends-turn-lovers is a little typical, but it would really fir them. they need each other, they understand each other, they are loyal to each other...this is not the usual level of friendship, if you know what i mean. miss rowling should've seen that detail.

For me, I'm a long lost H/Hr fan coming back after 4 years, more or less, just because of the arrival of the last movies (didn't see GoF, OoTP and HBP), I'm coming back to see the end... But I didn't like harry potter as much as I once did because of the last two books, that I didn't become really a fan...

i know they don't end up together and maybe it's not as obvious in the books (but i think its there) but Harry and Hermione just scream "meant to be"
in the films i don't really feel anything in the scenes between harry and ginny (unless "extremely awkward" counts) but even the smallest interaction between Harry and Hermione is filled with so much unspoken emotion and meaning that i just don't understand how they are not together!
@crazyhoolagirl i agree completely with the extremely awkward moments between h/g especially in HBP - tying his shoes??- it would have looked better if Hermione was the one who cleaned blood off his face and held him when Dumbledore died even if they are just friends.

The movies really do sell us on Harry and Hermione don't they (not that we needed much selling ;-D). So much so that they had to stick in the part with Dumbledore just to let everyone know that Harry and Hermione are just friends. Everyone can see it's meant to be Harry and Hermione. I agree. There is way more development in Harry's and Hermione's relationships then Ron and Hermione's or Ginny's and Harry's. Hermione has always been their for Harry and they have been through so much and she has always been devoted to him. Harry needs a solid figure that has always been their for him and gave him structure and love. It has always been Hermione. She has always been that figure that Harry needs and Harry let her get away.
@anglib78 While I do not fully agree that Hermione and Harry are meant to be more than (the best and most loyal) friends; I totally think that JKR had to be on a very crazy trip when considering Harry and Ginny to get together. Ginny is the very most onsuitable girl for Harry... well, even I would prefer Hermione/Harry than Ginny/Harry (+ I'm also not happy with Ron/Hermione, it was crystal clear that they would be a couple in the end, still it's incredibly boring).
That was sooo cute, Im shedding tears. I use to hate HP but i take that back a gazillion times. Before i knew about the rest of the series, I watched the first one and i'm like, wow i think harry and Hermione should be together(even though I knew NOTHING about the other series and about them).

@bmclol I don't see any tension between them. It appears Ginny's little crush on Harry wouldn't have any affect, and she outgrew that. Then she reappears again, and all of a sudden Harry falls for her. It doesn't seem like there's really anything between them but a crush, not true love like what Harry and Hermione shared, which every time there together you see that in their eyes. Ron and Hermione are COMPLETELY different, they say opposites match, but they seem bro and sis, that fight a lot.

Usually bros/sis's fight a lot like Hermione and Ron. No matter if they are married, or just friends, Harry and Hermione have the strongest relationship outta all of them. I think we can agree on that.

The movies really do sell us on Harry and Hermione don't they (not that we needed much selling ;-D). So much so that they had to stick in the part with Dumbledore just to let everyone know that Harry and Hermione are just friends. Everyone can see it's meant to be Harry and Hermione. Really do wonder how Jo missed that mark... Lovely vid by the way. So glad I clicked on the link. :-D

I agree. There is way more development in Harry's and Hermione's relationships then Ron and Hermione's or Ginny's and Harry's. Hermione has always been their for Harry and they have been through so much and she has always been devoted to him. Harry needs a solid figure that has always been their for him and gave him structure and love. It has always been Hermione. She has always been that figure that Harry needs and Harry let her get away.
Shame on you Harry.

@anglib78 While I do not fully agree that Hermione and Harry are meant to be more than (the best and most loyal) friends; I totally think that JKR had to be on a very crazy trip when considering Harry and Ginny to get together. Ginny is the very most onsuitable girl for Harry... well, even I would prefer Hermione/Harry than Ginny/Harry (+ I'm also not happy with Ron/Hermione, it was crystal clear that they would be a couple in the end, still it's incredibly boring).

That was sooo cute, Im shedding tears. I use to hate HP but i take that back a gazillion times. Before i knew about the rest of the series, I watched the first one and i'm like, wow i think harry and Hermione should be together(even though I knew NOTHING about the other series and about them).

I love this pairing and it makes sense to me if they did get together. He's way more nice to her than Ron. Don't get me wrong, LOVE Ron but sometimes he can be such a dunce.

@bmclol I don't see any tension between them. It appears Ginny's little crush on Harry wouldn't have any affect, and she outgrew that. Then she reappears again, and all of a sudden Harry falls for her. It doesn't seem like there's really anything between them but a crush, not true love like what Harry and Hermione shared, which every time there together you see that in their eyes. Ron and Hermione are COMPLETELY different, they say opposites match, but they seem bro and sis, that fight a lot.

Anyways, Harry did Admit that because Jk rowling wrote that-duh !! If she wouldve stuck with the harry plus hermione love then she probably would have wrote that ron said that !!

They spend ALOT of time together like in Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban & Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows(I can tell by reading the book that they will spend a lot of time together in the movie). They seem like they know eachother so well and very comfortable with eachother. And a lot of Chemistry & History they will always share. I'm just mad J.K Rowling didn't stick to H+H. Hermione and Ron fight=bro/sis. Harry & Ginny never hang out/talk much=No chemistry..

@musicalsara ...plus Ginny is sorta a minor character and she dsnt rlly have much a background story besides the fact that shes ron's lil sis, so its lyk the romance dosent evn make sense, cuz in the bks and movies its lyk shes there bt only in the background. it weird to put her with Harry becuase shes a flat character and there relationship came out of nowhere!

@pradaluvr Yea, you would never expect Harry with Ginny. Ginny started with a little crush on Harry that usually little kids do,but you would never expect them to get married. She reappeared in like the 5th movie and all of a sudden Harry falls for her. I like romance that builds up, and there love didn't build up. It was just an all of a sudden love. Since Harry And Hermione are always together, it would be a nice love story of how there relationship builds up to marriage cuz of there history.

Harry and Hermione have something that you love 2 see in the books and on tv but you dont even see that history or chemistry with Ginny cuz theres rlly nothing there.

@pradaluvr Right. The romance building up is what Harry and Hermione share. Harry barely talks to Ginny, so they don't have a close relationship. People say it's a brother/sister relationship, but do you see bros/sis's hugging that much or "touching" each other, or even getting a long so well. Usually bros/sis's fight a lot like Hermione and Ron. No matter if they are married, or just friends, Harry and Hermione have the strongest relationship outta all of them. I think we can agree on that.
