In my book this is the greatest quartet to walk on a stage! This particular line up is John Rulapaugh-Tenor, Kerry Beatty-Lead, Tony Peace-Baritone, and Jeff Pearles-Bass, and Andrew Ishee-Piano...This quartet is way underrated, I would rather listen to them than Gold City, Legacy Five, Kingsmen, or any of the oth All-Male Quartets on the road today! If you get a chance to listen to any of the Old Quartet style that they do then you need to hear it!
Hi--You just said the magic word which is "underrated". In my book these guys are definitely the most way underrated gospel quartet of all time & they should not be. I totally agree with you that this particular group is the best quartet that has ever walked on to the stage & sing & sing!
I think I know Aaron, I saw him in a interview on youtube with the rest of the group, they would present him as bass singer replacing Tim Riley. Thanks;)
Palmettos bass, Aaron McCune now sings with Gold City. This is Jeff Pearles, who was the bass before Aaron, but from what I have understood, after their original bass left they never were the same again, but they are still one of my favorites.
Thanks for the information, I love both Palmetto quartet and Gold City (I like Tim Riley) and I like that they are still runing (too bad Cathedrals and other great quartets disbanded)
Have you seen the video of Gold City singing He Said at NQC2006? That's Aaron-he is my personal favorite (because I got to visit with him). If you find PSQ singing When it Pours God Reights at NQC2004, that's also Aaron.
powerful staff!! thanks for the post

These guys are great, they can be compared to big quartets like Gold City, Cathedrals or The Stamps

I think it's a case of you sing like Jeff Pearles ;)-He's one of my favorites, and sings with a group in California, now, I believe.

Jeff Pearles sings with The Kings's Heralds, who have moved to Nashville. They have an unmatched harmony, IMO.
