@HYBRIDCOMBATIVES What are the SEALS using? DA/SA SIG P226. Naval Special Warfare DA/SA HK45, ARMY & USMC DA/SA Beretta M9, Air Force Glock 19 (because they rarely see combat on the ground and they are cheapest in cost they also make great curtain rods! ) DA/SA is old and outdated?
@HYBRIDCOMBATIVES Stay away from the light! You can't pull the trigger and strike the round a second time if it fails. You have to rack the slide taking your gun off target to do so with the Block, XDm... I would say that is NOT better or faster. Not a good choice for professionals? Is that why the Maryland State Police New Jersey Police ,Providence, Rhode Island Police ,and Rochester, NY police use them along with 5 other countries? They have no safety! Is that is outdated and unnecessary?
Great info! I'm a Beretta PX4 Storm owner and fan myself. Glock sells this as a double action only. Its not. Its a single action automatic= old technology. You can't pull the trigger and strike the round a second time if it fails. You have to rack the slide = single action. PX4 you have a true Single action Double action handgun with a decocker and safety. Plus every PX4 Storm is broken in at the factory. My buddy had the Gen 4 recall issues and he got to shoot mine he traded it for a PX4.
@MotoChefServices The PX4 is not a serious consideration for a professional. There is nothing about a PX4 that a Glock,XDM or M&P can't do better and faster. The hammer fired DA/SA trigger set up is outdated and unnecessary where the striker fired weapons have set the tactical standard with a consistant single action style trigger pull.
Did you notice that the 45 acp ammo leaves a lot of gun powder residue on the front of the slide and down the mag well as well as the innerds of the gun? My 23 does not. I think because 45 rounds have slower burning powder.
@Doyouknowhowmuchusuc got mine for 180. its the red not the green. green wasnt even out when i bought mine.you adjust it with a little allen key looking tool when underneath the battery cover
@zboyco Does it just know where the bullet goes with the alignment of the barrel? It says factory adjuted, how? I want one BAD..... it is the entire spring, you replace it?
Hi. I was thinking about getting the GL 30 & also 3 GL21 - 13 rd mags. These mags will fit the GL30 & they have a sleeve which fits it to make it flush with the bottom of the 30 & fill in the gap. It will only be a small amount longer & will sort of give you a more fuller grip & sort of "fool" the body into believing it has a better grip. Ever hear of this?? THX. Sincerely, JAMES.
hi would you know the letters on or about (i dont know).... a glock 22 ...the 3 letters i cant find are BXV and CNA ...i know the CNA is( LEO service weapon) but i cant find the BXV ...there is a BX ...but thats not what i am looking for ....thanks for your help if you now what the BXV is.
Hey pimp louie, that greater penetration for nine millimeter that you speak of, is the very reason u want a .45 acp round because it mushrooms better than nine millimeter and stays inside the targets body cavity instead of supersonically traveling through your intended human Target and strike a possible unintended human behind the bad guy. The .45 also has a lot more stopping power than the nine.... Do a bit of homework man, seals use mk .23 for a reason .45 acp
This is a great weapon. You should look into the Pearce Grip Extension & Grip Frame Insert. They add very little is size/weight but add to the controllability of the weapon dramatically.
I have the 3rd gen 17 model. Fits perfectly in my relatively big hands and it's extremely light(even loaded). The 30 seems to be very suitable for the caliber.
To all of you ignorant f@&$s out there one of the only reasons that the US military does not issue glocks is because glock will not release their patent... Rules state that in order for it to be issued is that it must be released so that the gov't can use several mfg to make clones
Thanks for the information. While I own several different handguns, I have never owned a Glock and want to add at least one to my collection.. I am trying to decide what to purchase for my first Glock.
I have a Glock 27, it is the same dimensions as the 26....just adding that in. If bought over, I think I would get the 26 in 9mm as the 40 is harsh in that small gun, and having a 17 also...you can interchange mags, even the 33 rounder will work in a 26. Cant go wrong with any Glock, just consider your ammo choice for cost and the amount of recoil you can deal with...if new to Glocks, go rent a few at a range and you will quickly discover what you like best...size, weight, recoil, ammo cost.
great gun, i usually carry my 27 majority of the time, but for past few months i have carrying the 30 and it still very comfortable, cant go wrong the a 30. GOOD VID

@zboyco Interesting since the Military carried Revolvers for decades. The 1911 replaced the .38 revolver due to stopping power. As you know, Revolvers don't have safeties.
The thing is though there is a safety on the trigger and it is less likely to deactivate then a pistol with an external safety because it is protected by a trigger guard. I for one think Glock is one of the safest pistols to carry.
@TheBadash1 The only reason this is not a military issue is because of lack of an external safety, not because they "hate" the weapon. Glocks are a proven firearm and consistently used as a standard issue firearm in law enforcement. Ask anyone experienced in firearms and they will tell you Glocks are known for their durability, dependability, and accuracy. The "bigger" version you refer to is prob Glock 21. This is just higher caliber and smaller for concealed carry.
You are simply wrong. The military dosnt "hate" glock. How can you, an individual, speak for the GOV.?
It may not be as commonly known, but there are ISSUED glocks, and sigs, and H&K pistols, at least in the Army. I can promise you this. They were in my last unit.
@harrisontx Agree with your statement above. I would have liked to have seen trials on the 357SIG round in a full size pistol (5 inch barrel). It feeds from the shoulder for more reliability, has more penetration than either the .45 or 9mm, Recoil is similar to a .45 when fired out of a 5 inch barrel, and more magazine capacity than the .45. (Beretta and 1911 are both 5 inch barrels). Yes, I am aware that there is not much ammo out there, but that would change if it passed the trials.

@serekithegreat quite the contrary, its the most smoothest shooting 45 sub gun i have. it uses a dual recoil assembly which helps. it doesnt jump up but pushes back like its supposed to when being fired
@bank4fun An unarmed world sounds like a wonderful world to 3/4 of the people in the world but it sounds like a wonderful place to pilage and destroy to 1/3. There will always be bad people and bad people will always find means to harm others to suit their own means. No guns does not equal less violence. Freedom, liberty and right to personal protection will provide peace. So guns are part of the answer.
@bank4fun Guns are referred to the peacemaker.. In this world it is, rule or be ruled, throughout history whoever had the best guns or weapons ruled the world.
@bank4fun Guns are referred to as the peacemaker... In this world it is, rule or be ruled, throughout history until now whoever had the best guns or weapons ruled the world. Slaves don"t have weapons they are not allowed to have them. Want to be a slave?
so Lets see 80% of law enforcement say Glocks are great and are very accurate and reliable. Then we have some idiot on you tube saying there garbage.. who do I chose.. ill go with MRTOPGUN5150 vs about 100,000 lawmen carrying a glock.
fantastic firearm... my glock has never failed me i have many different firearms from custom kimbers to xdms to glocks all in many different calibers. i do my own reloading and have never had a problem with my glock... glocks are fantastic firearms for the price extremely accurate and run flawlessly in the hands of a competent shooter. i would put my life and my familys life on my glock every time... GREAT VIDEO

Glocks are crap, cheap ghetto bangers. Function-less garbage that will get you killed. Hi-Point shoots great too, but at least they are priced right. Look at the slide release!!! Thats bent sheet metal!!! SA only with no hammer, PEOPLE this pistol is manufactured in a country where you can't own a gun!!!
@MrTopgun5150 thats quite a stereotype. it has never failed me in thousands of rounds and has proven itself to many CCW holders and Law Enforcement. comparing a hi-point piece of shit to this is just slander.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@zboyco 1st things first, why would you buy a pistol that you must rack if FTF, thats asinine to completely trust any factory round with your life. 2nd if your gun gets taken from you (AH STOP RIGHT THERE MACHO MAN) it can happen. If you can actuate a safety, you have some time to flee seeing as how your attacker will prob just pull trigger. Face it, it's cheap, SAO. .45acp was made for 1911 pistols, not G-Banger crap like that. LE that buys them has a strict bank account. TG
@MrTopgun5150 first off. you think a hi point is better than a glock. you must be new to firearms huh? they are paper weight jam o matics. have fun playing with your safety and grip safety when someone is charging you and i will pull and shoot with no controls necessary. but you summed yourself up perfectly when you said 45 is only supposed to be for 1911 pistols. face it ,your a 1911 fan boy and too narrow minded to believe that their is a gun that is just as popular and more reliable.nuff said
@zboyco dude are you serious? i own a glock 30 and even on full auto it doesnt jam. i've cycled 12000 rounds through it in a single day and all that happened was i wore out the barrel. hi-point are 150 dollar pieces of shit that jam, have a retarded magazine release, and are horribly inaccurate. you want a real gun tho? try my sig sauer p245 or my HK .40 usp. thats a REAL gun!
@MrTopgun5150 Under stress not having a external safety for most ppl including military and leo will save your life. Its one less thing to think about. Anything can be taken from someone but when you get a gun you should know the basics in how to retain your weapon from one or more ppl. The 1911 and glock are both great it comes down to pref and your needs ;].
@MrTopgun5150 all i can say is i own 3 glocks, there very reliable, ive never had a jam or any issue. i have thousands of rounds through them and they still look brand new. just because something is simple, doesnt mean its junk, or wont work well. The simplicity of the glock is what makes glock a favorite of mine, simplicity, accuracy and durability is what glock means, ive found this to be true with every glock i own, i trust my life with my glock.
@MrTopgun5150 clearly you dont know what they hell you are talking about. i aint the biggest glock fan but they aint shit. HI POINT is a fucking piece of SHIT
@MrTopgun5150 It is clear, You have never so much as held a Glock based on your dumb ass opinion. SA without a hammer...?! How exactly does this work? Do you know what SA means?
my understanding is that the 40 cal glocks are smaller all the way around....exactly like the 9mm glocks. The 10mm and 45 cal glocks are the bigger/thicker glocks....hmmm, not sure if I have that perfectly correct...and not sure about where the 357sig fits in.
@mycatisromeo All Glock .45 models are $465 (new) at Smyrna Police Distributors. And all other models of Glocks are $399. But you can only buy them there if you are police or military. Or if you pay for 1 year of Glock membership... but that will only allow you to buy 1 a year. These are most likely the best prices in the country, considering the factory is only a couple miles away. If you want something closer to $500, you might want to look at used... You would still be buying a Glock...

Does anyone else hate the fact that since call of duty came into the world you just can't seem to find videos on guns anymore without these stupid "montages" and "xXxXxXxXxCoDzOwNz" videos coming up. I mean I'm thinking about getting a saiga-103 for some fun at the range and so I thought I'd see if I could find some videos of customised ak, since I was thinking of buying custom parts for a tactical look. But type in "ak47 customised" and not one is about a real gun.. <sigh> :-( Youtube's dying..
STOP BRAGGING ABOUT HOW BIG YOUR HANDS ARE. LOL. GOT THE SAME GLOCK. GOOD PRICE, NO GREAT PRICE.!!! GET SOME AFTER MARKET FLOOR PLATES AND YOU WILL LIKE THE GRIP BETTER. THEY ARE CHEAP, ABOUT $10. WELL, $9.99. YEAH, I HAVE STAINLESS RODS ON ALL MY GLOCKS.

You are simply wrong. The military dosnt "hate" glock. How can you, an individual, speak for the GOV.?
It may not be as commonly known, but there are ISSUED glocks, and sigs, and H&K pistols, at least in the Army. I can promise you this. They were in my last unit.

Good looking pistol, but the recoil must be horrendous on a frame that small, especially in that caliber.
serekithegreat 1 year ago
@serekithegreat quite the contrary, its the most smoothest shooting 45 sub gun i have. it uses a dual recoil assembly which helps. it doesnt jump up but pushes back like its supposed to when being fired

@bank4fun An unarmed world sounds like a wonderful world to 3/4 of the people in the world but it sounds like a wonderful place to pilage and destroy to 1/3. There will always be bad people and bad people will always find means to harm others to suit their own means. No guns does not equal less violence. Freedom, liberty and right to personal protection will provide peace. So guns are part of the answer.

so Lets see 80% of law enforcement say Glocks are great and are very accurate and reliable. Then we have some idiot on you tube saying there garbage.. who do I chose.. ill go with MRTOPGUN5150 vs about 100,000 lawmen carrying a glock.
Idiots on you tube are amazing.

MrTopgun5150 1 year ago
@MrTopgun5150 thats quite a stereotype. it has never failed me in thousands of rounds and has proven itself to many CCW holders and Law Enforcement. comparing a hi-point piece of shit to this is just slander.

TG
MrTopgun5150 1 year ago
@MrTopgun5150 first off. you think a hi point is better than a glock. you must be new to firearms huh? they are paper weight jam o matics. have fun playing with your safety and grip safety when someone is charging you and i will pull and shoot with no controls necessary. but you summed yourself up perfectly when you said 45 is only supposed to be for 1911 pistols. face it ,your a 1911 fan boy and too narrow minded to believe that their is a gun that is just as popular and more reliable.nuff said
zboyco 1 year ago 25
alright guys, take it easy... don't argue. You two should settle this with a pair of gloves and a ring.
valleystylez1 1 year ago
@zboyco dude are you serious? i own a glock 30 and even on full auto it doesnt jam. i've cycled 12000 rounds through it in a single day and all that happened was i wore out the barrel. hi-point are 150 dollar pieces of shit that jam, have a retarded magazine release, and are horribly inaccurate. you want a real gun tho? try my sig sauer p245 or my HK .40 usp. thats a REAL gun!
KymeraGR7 10 months ago
@MrTopgun5150 Under stress not having a external safety for most ppl including military and leo will save your life. Its one less thing to think about. Anything can be taken from someone but when you get a gun you should know the basics in how to retain your weapon from one or more ppl. The 1911 and glock are both great it comes down to pref and your needs ;].
iceman7707 1 year ago
@MrTopgun5150 The Glock 30 was designed around the .45 acp round.
sk8tedoc 1 year ago
@MrTopgun5150 all i can say is i own 3 glocks, there very reliable, ive never had a jam or any issue. i have thousands of rounds through them and they still look brand new. just because something is simple, doesnt mean its junk, or wont work well. The simplicity of the glock is what makes glock a favorite of mine, simplicity, accuracy and durability is what glock means, ive found this to be true with every glock i own, i trust my life with my glock.

@MrTopgun5150 clearly you dont know what they hell you are talking about. i aint the biggest glock fan but they aint shit. HI POINT is a fucking piece of SHIT

my understanding is that the 40 cal glocks are smaller all the way around....exactly like the 9mm glocks. The 10mm and 45 cal glocks are the bigger/thicker glocks....hmmm, not sure if I have that perfectly correct...and not sure about where the 357sig fits in.
BfSkinnerPunk 1 year ago
@BfSkinnerPunk You're right on... And the .357sig is the same size as the 9mm and .40s&w.

Does anybody know where I can buy one of these closer to $500 price range? Seems like they're upward to $600+
mycatisromeo 1 year ago
