well it be possible for these engine's power to be transmitted into a reduction gear and then to a propeller to become a turboprop engine? what do u think? any ideas?

@JoelHarvey1 Thanks mate, the engine was runing a bit to cool as John Wallis told me. I have now decommission this engine and no working on the t 30 turbo jet. Are you a meber on the DIY gas turbine group?. And where abouts are in AUS?. Cheers, Mark..

You have carefully read RcDon's website have you ? haha, so did i , but i'm not ready for a test run yet. Just have build the stand and combustion chamber on a VT50 turbo. Now oil and fuel and ignition and i'm ready :-)

@bartdereu Yes i have read rcDon's website,got a few ideas from him. The combustion chamber design from bad bro's. I am now working on a larger turbo jet using a large T 30 turbocharger. Thanks for the comment, if you need some help let me know. Cheers, Mark.

Yes it can,but this engine is for education and entertainment. We are building a jet bike and jet go kart with free power turbine units. Like all projects they cost money it's up to you how much money you want to spend.

Most parts you can get from your local car wreckers. You must sign up to DIY gasturbine group it's free and you will have access to photos and info and help from other members of the group....

Yes i am using a hand held digital photo tachometer,you can buy them on ebay for about $20 US dollars

Very nice turbine. Building another vt50 based turbine myself. What diameter tube did you use for your cumbuster? I'm using 6 1/4" I.D. Yours looks slightly larger.
