I have an onl Hondo Strat - Had it for years. I used to also have an '80's US Fender strat as well, but I always seemed to end up playing the Hondo. I sold the US guitar and used the money to fit some stacked humbuckers to it. It's stil my favourite guitar.
Ive got a question about the nut on that guitar, I too have an old 1980's hondo strat copy, it wasnt in the greatest condition and needs a new nut, do you know what kind of nut i might need to get for it? Thanks.
how are you, I ask you a question I have a guitar of that brand to buy 12 years ago and inquired about how much it could cost as yours but red from now thank you very much
I have one of the 80's jap hondo's. Same finish as yours but black pick guard and pickups. The action on mine is amazing, Also a good luthier or rod adjustment could potentially fix the neck. I picked mine up today over a Fender MIM strat, based on how the guitar felt rather then sound. I think I'll eventually switch out the stock pick ups (Even though on jap models they're DiMarzios ) with some Lace Sensor's. Probably gold's or a gold/red/blue config
dont think so, its got a big scratch on the back, the soldering once broke inside it so it stoped working, and the back strap button fell out, but at i fixed all the probelems (except for the scratch)

I have no idea as to what the would cost or what they would be worth. Maybe have a look at ebay to get a rough idea?

Scratches I can deal with but this one has a neck like a ski jump :-(
no66y666 3 years ago
what do you mean?
flesheatingsmoothy 3 years ago
The neck kinks up at the top end around the 14th fret so when you play up there the strings bind on the fret wires (if that makes sense?)

oh yeah, that must be crap
