I'm a little tired of people always ripping on Johnny. The man had a great business mind and was a great leader of the band. An authority figure is usually never admired in most situations. I agree that it wasn't in good taste to go after Joey's girl, but obviously it turned out to be more than just a one night stand. They got married and stayed married until Johnny's death.

They copy greenday? All the original members are dead little kid. they broke up in 96 and put out like about 1 albums while greenday was even around. Geez douche learn your music history. Also they didn't copy anybody from Guns and Roses once again they where around before them always had the same style, Joey was a vocalist why and what would he copy from a non vocalist also his name was Slash, not "slick" idiot.

The Ramones did start in 1974. They played at CBGB'S in 1974, recorded demos in 1975, signed with Sire (And Seymore Stein) in 1976, thus their first album. By 1977 they had already released their third album (Rocket to Russia)

Get over it. Johnny Ramone wasn't asking you or any Ramones fan to be Republican like him. If 99.9 percent of rock musicians are Democrats (and a lot are Eddie Vedder/Michael Stipe/Rage Against the Machine left wing poster boys), what's the harm of having 1 Republican every so often? johnny didnt rock neither did ramones, they had catchy songs, they did alot for the punk rock music and the punk rock scene but they hated each other they weren't friend, that higly influenced their songs, joeywas a sissy boy wearing leather jackets and trying to look tough.. idk, I don't think ramones was as great as some people think they were. The last awards ramones was invited to they were all sitting in different tables *drools*
