  • Love it

  • great solo

  • Great phrasing.

  • Nice :)

  • Tom Cruze Digs the shades ;)

  • Does the V drums have the same sound as a any regular drum set?

  • Haters gonna hate! Sick video!

  • Sound is really good.

  • Nice kit and well skilled drummer :)

  • It would be pretty good for an ametuer

  • Very nice !

  • Hey man nice vid, I've got this kit but I'm having trouble getting the quick records from my usb stick to my computer, wondering if you could show me how you got your audio to your computer? thanks a lot

  • @NatureoftheYoung you cant get the recorded audio that the head unit saves onto the thumbdrive, it's encoded in Rolands format, and as far as i know no one has found a way to convert it to .wav/mp3 your best bet would be to run a stereo line in from the output jacks (both of them) into a 3.5mm line-in on your computer, and record there.

will require 2x 1/4in to RCA adapters, and 1x 3.5mm(basic headphone) to RCA (Stereo, red+white) adapter. which can be found at Radioshack.

  • @LuC1Fr oh right thanks a lot will give it a go !

  • Great Job!

  • gotta love those shades

  • very good job man. At first i laughed. But now that im getting the roland TD9 im not laughing because its a awsome kit and u are very good. How much was this set?

  • Great job! Don't listen to all these morons who comment on everything but your drumming skills....which are excellent. Keep posting, anyone with a brain can see that you have done a lot of practicing!

  • Very Danny Carrey.

  • nerrddd

  • Lol if it's not metal what is it? You can't banish something from your genre because you don't like it...

  • Good job...

  • Yup just ignore all the dumb arse kids and haters.

Youtube infested by the SELF proclaimed know-it-all's and armchair pilots also known as morons.

  • @Toyman07 best comment ever!

    btw, dude plays great!

  • gotta love haters haha i bought one today, how much fun?good work

  • So many ignorant corefags on here that don't know the history or subgenres of heavy metal. What's with the link in the description?

  • this is not fuckin metal u poser

  • @PeterRyche99 ye it is lol

  • Haters can go suck a #$%@! this is great! mate they just hate cuz they cant play as good as you!!

  • Closet haters have no talent, that's why they put us down

    Nice playing ma brutha!!!

  • hey whatsup? ignore the trolls. You've probably been asked this before but what setting do you use?

  • This is about as metal as Justin Bieber. BURRRRRN.

  • It's not a drum solo if there is other instruments playing too!

  • @NAPSTERUK00 don't know. Mr. Rogers is pretty metal, man.

  • i dont know what you guys are all bitching about. i think its metal drumming. u dont need a double kick beat to have it classified as metal. theres tons of variations. so shut up!

  • @NinjaJOE129 your right it is METAL drumming...but he put HEAVY METAL in the title so its explains all the hate

  • he looks like JOE SATRIANI!!!hahha

  • Back in my day you'd get your ass kicked for playing electric drums and calling it metal. Damn sissy ass new generation.

  • @NAPSTERUK00 LOL Yeah.

  • more like groove metal or some type of hybrid funk rock thing. alright job tho

  • what da hell

  • whta kit whas that? or what are the doble bass settings?

  • @NAPSTERUK00 this is about as stupid as mr rogers

  • This is not metal, this is just gay hard rock...

  • @LaxPlayer8796 this is the hardest a roland can offer!

  • nice shorts :) i llike how they match your top :)

  • i thought , oh lets see another person fail at heavy metal drumming...and i did

  • Bonehead drumming faggot

  • Cool!

    What kit have you used?

    Thank you!

  • Cool rythym to play. Pretty fun too!!!!

  • WHAT THE HECK IS THIS this is not metal this is rock sounds like the wiggles.

  • Awesome playing!

  • Nice! What sounds are you using on the TD for snare etc?

  • @TurtleMan497 its hooked up to the computer and recorded into an audio recording software :D

  • thats sic dood

  • Muito bom o vídeo!!

  • @TurtleMan497 Noob

  • Sweet shades.

  • you're not playing like the most people play metal, try to give more feeling in your drums ;)

    without this,, asome cover :)

  • WTF are you waring you pajama???

  • @sicmaggoter a bag over the head would work also....it worked for buckethead

  • How do you record with these???

  • @TurtleMan497 if you want it on an amp you can...you only an amp lol... you can also use headphones

  • Cool shades bro very metal

  • @TurtleMan497 no all drummers wear headphones i has wat i call sleeves under the symbols so wen u hit it it pushes the sleeve down it then pushes a thing inside the stand and makes the sound. idk how the drums work

  • How much is this kit brand new?

  • Reminds me of Pantera for some reason. idky

  • Nice man!

  • i wish my my electric drum set had a double-bass mode

  • I hope your in a band man, you kick out some good jams.

  • nice job

  • im gonna got these drums but thats why we arent gonna go anywhere abroad next summer....... well i think it worth it =)

  • try a REAL drum set, you so much more sounds and guess what...THEY'RE REAL. these electric kits you get the same sound every time you hit the pad. its retarded! there isnt even and resonation for the toms. im not saying your a bad drummer, in fact your an awesome drummer, i just recomend a real drum kit. i rest my case.

  • @jigy132 it's hard to have an acustic kit when you live in an apartment...or with other people...or in a quiet neighbourhood etc. These electric kits are perfect if you want to practice at 3 AM or when other people are around :)

  • @yardkyle ahhh i see, makes sence now lol

  • @jigy132 I have both an acoustic kit which I played for 20 years and an electric kit which I have played for 2 years. I prefer the electric. It sounds way better in a live setup and the volume is controllable in spaces where the acoustic kit is too loud - bars etc.

Your comment shows that you have not had any extensive experience with an electric kit. They actually sound and feel pretty much like a real kit, you may want to forget about the 80's and try a modern electric kit.

  • @TheFunkstick as a matter of fact, yes i have. i used one for a year b4 i got my REAL kit. and acoustic kits arent for the 80's. i think theres way more electronic BS in that music then there is now. everytime you see someone live 9 times outa 10 they got a acoustic kit, and theres a very good reason for that, acoustic is better than electric.

  • how much did these cost???

  • Is that all you got! How about a little inagaddadavida,Hahahaha,Peace

  • Great drumming!

Can anyone tell me how i can record something on the TD-9, and put it on my iPod, MP3 player, computer or something like that ?*

    Please reply :) !

  • I am a drummer too, and if you dont have a very big house or a big room i think acoustic sound really awfull so i like electric much better, accoustic drums only sound better [at least thats what i think] if you have a studio or you have a big space then they sound much nicer!

  • All of you saying buy realm drums or electric drum suck, did you know that some people cannot have real drums for neighboor problems? and also its pretty much more fun to use since you can change the sounds. So all of you haters music is music .

  • @TurtleMan497 you can also plug it into an amp!

  • first, get some longer shorts then TAKE OFF THE DAMN SUNGLASSES you look like a douche, and if your goin to play that style grow out your hair, you look like you work in a cubical.

  • @MEEHO147 no ones gonna care how he looks when hes up there rockin, just look at joe satriani

  • @MEEHO147 if you don't like what he looks like then don't watch it, god your such a dick

  • Cool drumming, you should put one up using the recommended rythym on that TD9 preset. If I wore the shades I wouldn't be able to see my kit!!

  • Personally I hate using Electric drums, But you seem to have it down, nice "solo"

  • Ya... should try some real drums...electric suck.

  • i have this set as well, do you know if you can hook up another kick to play double bass?

  • @TurtleMan497 i have this set as well, the sound can be played from a amp, a stereo system, or headphones

  • buy real drums

  • i likeee :D

  • he wears sunglasses inside because thats what the badasses do nowdays

  • does the guitar come from the drum-computer??

  • sunglasses? inside? really?

  • What's the purpose of wearing sun glasses?

  • you were off like half the video, also you look weird

  • you look weird

  • @TurtleMan497 For recording, it sends the audio directly into a recording interface (computer), as well as into a speaker or into headphones.

  • @TurtleMan497: I don't know if this is what you wanted to know, but: There is a line out and a headphones out. You can mute the drums (and/or bass, percussion, guitars) of the internal songs if you want to.

  • i have a question.can i use any drum stick used for accoustic drums for the vdrums.or is there any special drumstick for vdrums mesh pad?any advice?

  • @mcazeem Any sticks will work, just don't use chewed up sticks on the mesh pads

  • Nice glasses prick. But it was pretty gnarley man

  • @TurtleMan497 its eletric

  • I have heard many people versoin of this song. and you play the best out of them. keep up the good work.

  • @TurtleMan497 im guessing he just directly outputted the set to his laptop

  • it isn't a drum solo .. but it's good (:

  • nice jam man. i can never jam to this setting very well because my style doesn't do well for it. but i really liked this

  • how did you get the double bass sound as far as i know thers only one foot pedal.

  • do have a double paddle?

  • @Pondebong lol, u mad bro?

  • who gives a fuck if its electronic? i like his "electronic" drumming. thats all that counts.

  • Are u blind

  • u look nerdy but your really good

  • 0815 metal riff. drop d tuning i bet.

  • the simplest form of metal >...>

  • i need to ask u something hypothetically. Could these electronic drums break if they are it to hard. My cousin had this rockband drumset and it broke from him banging it hard.

  • @ThePacificDrummer A rockband set costs about £20..this Roland kit is almost 100times more than that. It shouldnt break.

  • @AAMetalXJON thanks a bunch cause I didnt want to spend a lot of money on something that could break :D

  • @ThePacificDrummer lol, The rockband set is shit compared. You have to be Chuck Norris to destroy this kit. Cheers!

  • @motherofgodband hahaha I thanks once again :D

  • @ThePacificDrummer the rockband kit is plastic... this shit is METAL and ... well plastic in some places :P or rubber... however, shit won't break !

  • niceee

  • how have you angeld the bass drum pedal? looks like its ojn the ground. because sometimes i have problems ggettig a good sound out of it because of the double foot pedal.

  • @MalevolentSeb I just have both beaters centered as much as possible. I can't have the right one centered or the left will be offcenter and quiet, so I shift it to the right so both have equal distance to the sides. Some pedals probably don't work as well, if the beaters aren't very close. Mine are fairly close. You can also change your kit, so all your volumes are at 70%, but the bass is at 100%- I recommend that- settings in the TD-9 drum brain.

  • @MalevolentSeb You can turn up the sensitivety of your bass drum.. Problem Solved :)

  • @TurtleMan497 he has the sound of the drums and the other instruments into his headphones and he has a line out from his electric kit into a mixing board that runs into a recording program and what you're watching is him recording it. That's just what i think

  • ur great!:)

  • the sunglasses really make up for the shorts :D

  • @TurtleMan497 You can hear it through headphones or a guitar amp

  • @TurtleMan497

you hook it up to combo or headphones or speakers and that's it :)

  • The guitar riffs remind me of Lamb of God for some reason.

  • @TurtleMan497 ..........He will be hearing it in the headphones and recording using line out probs (:

  • how much does this kit cost?

  • @emmathegirl789 $1,249.88

  • mate u look pretty funky

  • What sonq is this called?

  • @ovulos lame with a side a faggot

  • @dalton9931 The hell's your problem?

  • @Dartman85 im sorry, its just that wearing sunglasses indoors is probably one of my biggest pet peeves.

  • @dalton9931 uhmm?

  • Nice solo. Roland really did a great job with the sounds on this new module. Going back and listening to the others below, this one blows them all away.

  • I Played this kit in George's Music Store In Orlando i must say they have the best sound and play along tracks on it i wish mine were like them

  • sunglasses inside beast

  • Can you put the volume to very loud on this kit? I mean like loud as real drums. I tested td-9s in the store and put the volume to max, it still was very silent.

  • With a loud enough amp you can.

  • @disturbedrocks992 But if I play with headphones?

  • and nice playing by the way :D

  • Man, it's amazing!

  • el tema ke se escucha de fondo es el tema de "dante hell ofice battle" del devil may cry 3 jaajaj lo reconosco siempre

  • hey is a td4s a good drum set ? its roland :]

  • @Superhasddd

Yes it is.. I have a TD-4K and it's awesome, and the TD-4S is newer. so why should'nt it be better? :D

  • @BandaDK :D lol just wondering cause i might get one :D

  • @Superhasddd

    That's great ;)

  • @BandaDK :D yes lol xD

  • uUUUhhh goD! i jizzed sorry. good playing. love the roland td9

  • smooth chops my brother

  • this is more like soft rock....reminded me of Nickelback...no way heavy metal.

  • Damn, wish I could get that set.

  • Very good your sound.

    Very Heavy the beat.

    Congratulations from Brazil.

  • the fake drumstick spin ruined it lol.

  • This isn't really heavy metal, more like hard rock, Slipknot-ish. Good though ^_^

  • pickin this puppy up today, hahaha, the human beatbox effect is kickass

  • I loved that drum solo, wish I was that good

  • For some reason I do better with double bass on electronic drum sets

  • What song?

  • I can't wait till i get it! Awesome kit!

  • You're damn good!

  • acoustic is way betta than elec

  • @BlitzBoyz9996 i agree with you, i also have an acoustic one but have an elec drum too. I think elec-drums should used as "elec-drums" so i use it for effects or synth beats and others, but i would not say acoustic is already better.

  • i been playing a acoustic for about 14 years i started playing in 1996 at the time electronic kits was crappy and very very expensive but they have improved in the past 14 years and i will be getting one next pay I'm looking to buy a Roland td12kx for recording and practice.

  • now imagine what you can do w/ real drums.

  • I have played acoustic drums for 8 years and yeaterday i bought roland td 9 kx , i would highly recommend it.

  • I think it's not a drum solo, it's a heavy metal song. Sorry!

    Good work, hey! :)

  • This kicks ASS! Killer job M8
