Thanks for posting this. My dog has been on these drops three times a day for 8 weeks as of today, 04-27-09 but with NO results. I was about to give up but I didn't know that they had to be used for up to six months so we'll keep trying.
How many drops did you use per day? I have a very small dog, she's under 10 lbs
i did the drops a twice a day, there was some improvement he sees shadows and stuff depending on the light, you see in the video he follows my hand with the ball. according to my vet Can c is a placebo... really just for the owners, BUT i saw definete improvement so i think it depends on the dog.. also he got an eye infection so i have discontinued Can C.i know it is hard but in time around your house you will never know he is blind,Springfield is a very very happy dog . good luck bDavid
Hey, do you still use the can-c eye drop on this dog? can he or she now see better WITHOUT bumping into walls? My dog has CATARACTS and the surgery is way to expensive at this moment for me so i would like o try this alternative only if it is 100% effective as described.
Has you had 100% success with this product and bringing back your dogs full vision?
no way will you get 100% !! there is some improvement depending on the lighting, don't worry your dog will adjust in my house no one knows Springfield is blind until i tell them, my vet says Can C is a placebo and only for the owners BUT if you watch my video Springfields eyes have improved, i think Can C helps shrink the catarac .. best of luck to you , sorry for the slow response. bdavid
I am also using this product on a 10 year old small breed dog, one drop, three times a day. We have been using it for about 2.5 months...no change so far but I expect to be using it for at least 6 months before I see any difference. If there is nothing changed by the time we've run out after the 6 month period, I'll discontinue use.
