@Kjsnuggles I'l admit i like ape escape more in terms of nostalgia, it defined my childhood, but you have to look past all that and realize that while the story and characters are goofy, the game play is better than the original, and i think the game play is the most important part of a GAME. The controls better, the level designs are massive compared to the original, and there are gimmicks like the monkeys being able to jump out of the way of your net, or transforming, its all around better.

I have not played ape escape 3 yet. I came across ape escape 1 when I was younger in blockbuster. I rented it and almost beat the whole game but I didnt know how to hit specter in the last battle(I dont mean the very last battle but the battle that makes you think you beat him and the game is over and then its like "omg there is still more monkeys"). Ape escape 2 I beat at ease except for the very last battle(I mean after the credits) because I had to return the game because I rented Ape escape2
