I will never forget how my heart was truly broken when I found out she was married to Waylon. If I could ever get a song published or a record deal I'd thought perhaps I could convince her to at least speak to me and give me a chance. I'll never forget how let down I felt. Waylon may have had his share of bad luck but he got the Golden Ring when he married her. I gradually came to admire him again and realize she got the best deal after all.

@teeger66-- you can tell that it is hard for her. Her eyes do not sparkle like they did when she sang with Waylon. It's also like she doesn't really know where to look. She used to look at him all through the songs. Really sad, but it is so good that she still sings. It's still beautiful.
