  • well....you saw the saw

  • The state of Florida asks that people report every sighting of these awesome critters.

  • this saw is electric or petrol ?

  • man is it really truee.taht these type of fish are the last of there kind and have 70 something thousand teeth in there mouthss?..

  • @thatbboyrandom1 they are lerated with rays

  • I saw one 11ft long at the aquarium where i live. IT WAS AWESOME!

  • It should've chopped your ankles off

  • I remember seeing them there years ago.

  • that thing's badass

  • This is an amazing video...you should make more to raise awareness about critically endangered species. I have a house in St. Croix, and we love the reefs down there, but it is always sad when I go back and notice a decline in a particular species of fish, coral or invertebrate. However, there are university programs at work on the island to curtail the effects of industrialization and tourism. Keep up the good filming!

  • will it attack???

  • @mitchellsealcoating Only if provoked; say, if you were walking on the bottom and stepped on it.

  • @mitchellsealcoating yeah they showed it on river monsters.

  • I was snorkeling in Key West 7 years ago and saw one with 6 barracuda following right behind it. Our guide was next to me, she grabbed my arm and yelled "HOLY S#@*T!" over and over. She said it was the first one she's seen in her 10 years guiding snorkeling tours. It wasn't 15 though. Wish I had a camera handy :(

  • He just chillin'. Had a big night, slashin' up them bait balls. Now him jus' chillin', lookin' at white boys' ankles.

  • wow that's amazing :)

  • did you just jump over the enclosure to film that? That's like the man who was killed when he stepped into the tiger habitat at a zoo. What happened after you stopped filming?

  • they don't want people, what? The suspense is killing me D:

  • they look alot like sharks..but they are rays...:O

  • man .... like the swordgish ... these sharks are soo cool

  • i saw a documentary on them a couple of days ago. Critically endangered. Hopefully their numbers can increase in the future.

  • I agree, A340. Magnificent animals that have been around hundreds of millions of years. Hopefully they will be with us for a long time to come.

  • @IslandMultimedia I know even, the 'common' sawfish is critically endangered. How ironic.

  • thats amazing those are so rare id be in that water in a minute!

  • holey cow holey crap is all that u all can say??..btw i was just jk...if that thing is equipped with a chainsaw it would be cool an badass!!

  • how in the world were you able to get in the water?

I would be soooo scared if I saw that! lol

  • Very carefully!

  • oooh they can grow this big!!! almost like a shark huh.

  • They are in the same taxonomic Class as sharks, Chondrichthes, the cartilaginous fishes. They are a type of ray.

  • @IslandMultimedia I saw one of these last year when i went to the Bahamas. It was almost as big as this one. My buddy and me jumped in and scared the shit out of it. It soon ran away.. lol.

  • @morganfinley3 Lol

  • damn

  • correctly said. HOLY COW.

  • 457.2 centimeters o.O !! Wow

    4Metters 57.centimeters!!!! OMG!?

  • wow i would not get in the water with that thing

  • holy cow

  • holy crap!

  • Ive Cought one. 14 feet long 550 lbs. Islamorada Florida.

  • You got a pic of that?

  • I remember I saw one of those at a marine zoo...it was like 18ft!

  • well i work there at atlantis the small tooth sawfish can reach up to 18 feet in length

  • i heard that saw fish can reach up to 7metre long....

  • feet

  • wow

  • woah

  • this is a little goldfish from the devil :P

  • The teeth are pretty serious, they use them to dispatch schools of fish like a hedgesaw from hell. We had a sawfish tied up to implant a transmitter and it put holes through our rub-rail by swinging. Very scary and impressive!

  • i read that once, one of these fish cut a diver in two because he strayed to close

  • cool

  • Woah! that is a huge fish!

  • that is one f***ing big fish
