  • This made me cry sorry for your loss Officer Layton they are members of your family, I love the way how in the USA you treat your service dogs here in the UK they are forgotten heroes that is why I started the facebook page Memorial in the UK for Service Dogs. Thank you for how you pay tribute to them " To those who serve without a voice "

  • Thanks for posting the video Ben was a member of my family and it was hard to see him go.

Bffiiting tribute to a man's best friend

  • This made me teary eyed. I hope Ben went painlessly. RIP

  • rest in peace ben we will see u again some day

  • Anyone, who isn't mental, that owns a pet knows you bond with them JUST as much as a human. It's just as sad, if not more sad, when a Pet dies because it's usually not their own fault. They don't know what they did. And those are the most tragic human cases as well. That's why it hit's so hard.

  • RIP Ben. I'm sure you're in Heaven now getting doggie treats from Jesus!

  • sorry end thank you. ubs@seznam.cz Police Czech K9

  • This isn't silly. Do, be they service or pets, are some of the most faithful companions. R.I.P.

  • This video chokes me up every time i watch it..

  • Love and respect for a "Friend with tail". God bless you!

  • i am so crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • RIP Ben.

  • Was he a bomb dog?

  • It's hard losing a pet, let alone a partner that you trust your life with. From the day you are introduced to each other is the day that he/she dedicates his/her life to you. They love protecting your family and children, but most of all, they love going to work to protect you. They love searching for the active shooter in a school or vacant buildings and will do what they love to subdue him. They put their lives on the line so we can go home safe.

  • R.I.P ben you are in a good place now in god hand Ben i feel sorry for you thank you Ben for saveing las vagas life.

  • ben you are in a good place now in god hand ben i feel sorry for you thank you ben

  • R.I.P ben

  • R.I.P ben

  • Rest in Peace buddy!

  • A cop's best friend and a drug dealer's worst enemy. Your service to society and the life you lived were appropriately honored during your funeral. R.I.P. Ben.

  • As an aspiring K9 Handler, same as ipdpopo.

  • D:

I'm so hard watching this. But its good that Ben is so loved and he seemed to have had a good life and nice retirement.

  • How sad. Anyone know how this dog died?

  • I am a retired 22yr combat veteran, who has seen and witnessed many horrific sights throughout my career.

Watching this video made me cry real tears of sadness. I have lost many brothers in arms through the years, these events have affected me, but not like this video has!!!

A partner who never questions your command, never questions their duty, and remains loyal to the very end, is a true friend.

R.I.P Ben, Heaven is an even safer place now you are on duty.

  • wow, never seen one of these. Thanks for posting.

  • I love you Ben. RIP.

  • I didnt know Ben but i feel like i miss him too!

  • mans best friend R.I.P.

  • mans best friend R.I.P.

  • As A fellow K9 Handler, I respectfully say R.I.P. These dogs are not only a tool, but a life long partner. I just ask that you look highly upon your police officers and especially the K9 handlers. RIP BEN.

  • I respect all law enforcement and always dreamed to be a k9 handler and it is so so sad to watch this video of such a good dog who has passed. very touching video, R.I.P Ben

  • Rest in peace.

  • R.I.P Ben. This is just a sad video. It is sad when a cop loses a k-9 partner.

  • My eyes got wet...

  • R.I.P

    K-9 Ben

  • A touching video. Thank you for sharing.

  • It would be easy to say this is all very silly.

But funerals, any funerals, are really about the people that remain.

Policemen, I've noticed are very attached to their dogs. They are probably more attached to their K-9 partners then their human partners.

This ceremony isn't silly to them. It should not be to us either: the dog has served it's community, just as a human policeman has.

If there's any honors to be given, then this is an appropriate way to do it.

  • @timoz26 to a k9 officer, that dog is his best friend and partner, they live together and work together. this is a very touching video

  • You love them just as you would another member of the family. You try to tell yourself they're " just dogs", but that doesn't matter. They are indeed FULL members of your family and you feel the loss just as profound.
