Sure it is my opinion but it is still right. And I like a good defensive matchup and thought Bama vs. LSU I was a good game. I think you do not know much abouyt the 2005 Texas team. Texas had a very good defense. The USC team was just great offensively. They had weapons everywhere. No offensive weakness. Take off your SEC blinders and see things as they are. I could go on on but I won't unless you can't understand logic.
@MrBlackhaw After removing my SEC stunner shades I actually agree that Texas would probably beat my Tigers. I think that the key would have been Vince Young. You put Vince Young in a tiger uniform and this years LSU team is just as good if not better, but sense thats not the case Texas gets the edge. As for USC Id have to give the edge to my TIgers just because of Pro style vs Pro style.
@TheMTHproductions First i think to be fair this year they should just give LSU the trophy and have Bama and OSU play in a 2nd place game. LSU deserves the national championship now. They are a great team. yes, young was a great player and I think would be a huge difference. Besides QB very possibly LSU this year is better than the 2005 Texas team. But maybe not as much better as some would believe. But this LSU team could be the most clear NC we have since the 2005 Texas team.

This game was a example of how sports fans are so obsessed with scoring that they totally overlook the terrible D. LSU Alabama 11/2/11 was just as good but because it was a great defensive classic, its boring to most espn highlight peeking fans. SEC is king.
@TheMTHproductions Western Kentucky scored more on LSU in one quarter than alabama did in 4 and overtime... Since when does shitty offense become amazing defense? Both of these teams would SMACK this years lsu and bama teams.

TX held Mizzou to 330 on 86 plays w/ 3.8 per & Carolina gave up 500+
USC d'ed AzSt & ND better than LSU and Tenn
SC's O WAS that good. Arky's 05 D was on par w/ the 06 one that they won the SEC west with- USC's starters had 14 yards per play!
SC also d'ed up Arky better than any SEC team other than Bama
