Very well structured. Too many mash-ups are becoming 'sampler demonstrations'. A mash up is to be like building a music sandwich, not putting two songs into a blender. Integrity of originals is well maintained while dynamically remixed!

I like this, but I think Bananarama were more original than Gaga, she has millions of dollars in support from her record company behind her and a shed load of stylists. They were just 3 best friends who liked a drink and suddenly were mega stars! They could so take Gaga in a fight! :)

I agree with these statements about music in the past in relation to todays music. The problem with music industry is that it is an industry... and no longer an art form. Record labels and producers have way too much influence on "artists", or dare I say business men and women. The industry knows that people are catching on and loosing interest in mainstream music and independent musicians are becoming more popular so they like to instill good old music in modern music to make it appealing.

I agree laser, Im a huge 80s fan. I think a lot of people love the 80s so much and the music was so great, they want to bring back that feeling. I grew up in the 80s, that music made you feel like you could conquer the world..empowering, flash, great musicianship...the 90s was so depressing and the 2000's I think tried to bring back the fun, but lacked the great musicianship matched with great flash and stage shows...Im a rock fan, but I like Gaga because I can tell she's for real, a real talent

I agree completely with you on this one but even though I wasn't born or live din the 80's I think that they are the most fun decade it was more free spirited back then and less bad stuff happening. it's like everyday you watch the news and it's always about a murder or something you know? it's crazy shit out there. but hey it's awesome that you think gaga is cool :)
