  • in the Cd's linear notes, i read about how this song was conceived and put together, the research that went into it. Even the Jones Girls were amazed that it came off without a hitch. This song takes me on a fantastic journey beyond time an space to a distant time an place. Here in D.C. it is a staple on W.H.U.R.-Howard University's Quiet Storm.

Thanks for this most beautiful post!!!!

  • Hello SuperFunkDoctor. I want to thank you for this great sounding posting of a song Cynthia Biggs wrote together. We wrote it for one of my albums, but Kenny Gamble placed it with the 'The Jones Girls' The rhythm section you hear are me on all keys and synths, Roy Smith on bass and guitar, and Mark Douberman on drums. I wrote the string arrangement. The thing about Cynthia is that she is a a believer in empirical data. My belief, that's what makes this song so timeless.

    God Bless.
