@BaltimoreAndOhioRR Cool, the spot looks similar but then I checked again. I loath that crossing the trains sit there for various extended amounts of time, but love how active it is :)
It can't be that stealthy if you were able to catch it! HA! Great video; I've seen the patch-job Stealth GP38-2 road slugs; ugly scheme to say the least.
Yes it is. The other two units in that scheme are 7587 and 7588 (I'm not referring to other locomotive models). 7587 is active, 7588 is down in Corbin,KY the last I've heard, for work.
wow, #7871 was lashed up to the stealth! Well, #9019 is still lashed up and a 8-40C took the place of #7871.

I get it confused myself but according to CSX's locomotive roster that paint scheme is called CSX Gray/YNp. Excellent catch and favorited!

This is a stealth. They had horrible visibility so they repainted the nose to yellow. So it's a stealth, with yellow repainted over the nose.

Awesome catch! I've seen a YN1 GP38-2 unit before and I thought that was a rare find! I didn't think there were still "Stealth" units running around!
ArrowWolf1984 10 months ago
Abso-diddly-lutely! 7509 has been seen down here in Florida before and rarely goes un noticed as one of the three "stealth" units. Great catch.
