very well explained and it tells me not to just jump into making, base, painting a model but lean back and take a look at what you got and what else be done. I like it.
Great video love how you explain things, you really get into the "why" of things instead of just saying this does this and that does that it makes your videos much more informative and interesting.
Great video brother and a great mini to show us composition with. I think you can get away with putting her hand were you want, and the coat cuff shouldn't matter. The coat looks flowing and loose so it shouldn't move much when the arm twists with the sword if at all.
Thank you for that great vid! I was discussing composition on ancient greek vases when i worked as a guide in a museum during my studies, but for some strange reason i always pose my minis intuitive... you actually cured a massive blind spot there! Can't thank you enough :)
I just realized. You remind me of a male version of my drawing teacher. WEIRD. I understand what you are talking about... this is a really good example.
That's a real nice model and a great video. A question, though: was the hand separate from the model to begin with, or was it one piece and you cut the hand off so you could pin it in a different position?
Nice base

That base is excellent!. Great tip. The difference was very evident as you changed the sword's position.. .

I like the video, can't help but wonder though how it would look like if you got the sword even further away from the minuature.

I guess I'm not normal, because my focus was a whole miniature with the firts pose. Am I really weird? :D
