again.. im willing to bet that everyone who says this is a corolla have never been inside this car. I was at the dealership and its a HUGE difference in terms of size, luxury features and comfort. saying HS is a overpriced corolla is like calling downtown condos overpriced apartments. If you can afford it and have the interest, try it out you won't be disappointed. I liked it. Placed my order today.

lexus may not have class leading dynamics but 95% of my driving is in stop start city traffic, i would much prefer a cushy comfortable lexus than a rock hard bmw, iv driven some bmw company cars and some have suspension which is unbelievably rigid and uncomfortable, i like bmw but i think lexus has superior comfort on crappy roads.

@theonick Yes I should have bought one instead of my camry hybrid. my car burns oil, so i have to add oil in between oil changes. power outlets/cig ligthers both stopped working (not a fuse problem). it gets 30 mpg combined which is good, but i would have saved a lot of money on a corolla & it gets better mpg.

What I don't understand is that 35MPG??? I have a V6 Lexus IS 250 and It is rated at 32 mpg. (65MPH) on Freeway I've been able to get 31 mpg. so 35mpg not a big deal. I think that most vehicles will get 40mpg in 5 years from now so what is the benefit of this car? None. Unless this car is $30,000 or less Which I doubt Highly only true Morons will get this. Do your research Lexus IS250 2007 32/mpg highway and 28/mpg city. And much nicer and powerful car.

Well, I did hear the EPA is corrupt and took money from big oil so they downplay hybrid performance. Hybrids tested in Canada rate much higher than the exact same models tested in the US.

It is rated a 21 mpg.

The HS250 gets much better city mpg than an IS250. 35 mpg is not similar to 21mpg. If you doing 90% highway driving, then you won't get much out of a hybrid, but 34 is still better than 29.

You lie too much. Lexus IS250 2007 model fuel economy is 21/29 mpg or 18/26 mpg depeding model combined for around 22-23 mpg. This car has combined fuel eco of 35mpg that's not bad at all.

I actually love this car. I like a lot of luxury, specifically cooled seats and radar cruise. This car has both and in real life I expect about 40 mpg, even though EPA says 35/34.

The first dedicated one, which is true. The GS, RX, and LS are all technically retrofits, whereas this was built to be a hybrid only.
