Coinciding with the start of a "week of action" for children from families with substance abuse problems in Germany, GB, Sweden and the US, the oraganisers of the British activities (NACOA UK) have drawn attention to this song by Maria McAteer, Bjorn Dahlberg and the Stanford Quartet with a new recording of Sam Cook's classic, A Change is Gonna Come. It is very well worth watching and listening to!

This is just beautiful. Haunting but beautiful. For those of you who don't know NACOA has been close to my heart since I learnt of it in 1993 and wish it had existed when I was growing up. I have served two terms as a Trustee and have been the Charity's Child Protection and POVA Adviser for the last 10 years and I am delighted with the release of this beautiful single. Please support us, to support children and adults who live with the horror of an alcohol dependent parent. Well done x
Wonderful and I have only jusy heard about NACOA and didn't know about it. Im the son of a an alchohol dependedant step mother who has just passed away. A great way to support children. I wish you every success
Sean and the NACOA team - you're amazing! I'm so proud to have been part of this project and know it will raise awareness of the great work at NACOA and their helpline too. Spread the word people, get your friends to buy the song on iTunes and raise urgently needed funds to keep their helpline open.
Life without NACOA doesn't bear thinking about....

Good and effective video. Right choice of music. I liked the signs idea and the swapping around to get them in the right order. Nice film.
If I have one criticism is that at times I would at times have cut the sign changing a little faster to give you variety.

So much good work is done by the 'unsung' heroes; at last you do have a song...
