If anyone plays Call of Duty I challenge you to sit on a roof top fire 3 shots in 6 seconds(with a bolt action) and get 1 head shot. (You can't include a body shot because the character will die and you won't be able to get 2 shots on him). Then watch the kill cam and see if the he flies in the opposite direction of your shot.
Better yet get a real gun sit on a roof top fire 3 shots 6 seconds through a tree at a moving target 88 yards away and get a headshot. Don't do this on a person of course
You're talking about the physics behind ballistics. Nobody really understands how complex the physics behind bullets and ballistics are, and think they just go *boom* in *boom* out in a perfectly straight line all the time.
The deformation of the bullet alone will change the bullets's direction. Look at the deformed bullets: You don't except such a bullet to go in a straight line through flesh?
