  • What utter rubbish, Every English school child could tell you Victoria and Albert They were married on 10 February 1840, in the Chapel Royal of St. James's Palace, London. NOT St Georges Windsor, They had a 3 day honeymoon at Windsor.

And Victoria was 3 months older than Albert NOT a year older as stated by this idiot.

  • There's a portrait of the young Victoria by an artist who knew what he was doing. He had her tilt her head back to play up her best features (eyes, skin, hair) and play down her poor ones (long nose, weak chin).

To see it, do an image search for "Queen Victoria (Winterhalter, 1843)"

It's the one where she's resting her head against a red cushion.

  • I like the description of young Victoria as "reasonably pretty." It's a perfectly fair assessment, as her appearance had its strengths and weaknesses, as most people's do. I appreciate men who make allowances for imperfections in attractiveness.

  • who is that.....allbert............

  • King William IV

  • @fav0lyfe Yeah, Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha
