It´s nice to see him playing Grieg´s Piano Concerto - in acknowledgement of his cultural roots. Not bad, for one for whom piano was a ¨side pursuit¨ to acting. Would have been nicer, and done justice tis playing, had the piano been tuned in advance of the interview. Then again - I suppose the interviewer might have wanted to project a non-manicured, realistic glimpse of his life behind the curtains.

Does anyone remember a very well done "Samson and Delilah", made for TV. Wasn't that Hexum as Samsom? And does anyone remember the name of the beautiful, very young [and very appropriate to the Biblical time setting] who played Delilah? Am I completely wrong about its being Hexum?

@Cupcakealex Hi, it was definitely not Jon-Erik in the role. His only big roles on tv were Voyagers, Making of a male model and Cover Up. It was Antony Hamilton who played Samson, and he actually replaced Jon-Erik on Cover Up after the accident. Well, he came on as a different character. I checked the IMDB and the actress you're thinking of is named Belinda Bauer.

@Voyagersguidebook Thanks so much for your reply. This was driving me mad. The name Bonnie Bedelia was swirling around in what is left of my mind and now I see why. Belinda Bauer... ah yes, [any relation to Steven Bauer except extraordinarily good looks?] I am still trying to find that version. Actually the "real" Delilah would have been about 16-18 years old. A temptress played so well by the magnificent beauty Bauer. Thanks again.

@Cupcakealex You're welcome. I Had to do some research, Steven Bauer is from Cuba, Belinda is from Australia-no relation there. But I knew I heard his name before and here's an interesting tidbit-(connected to Jon-Erik) S. Bauer was married to Ingrid Anderson for 2 years, (89-91) who played the beautiful red-head model Gretchen on 'Cover Up.'

@SIKE01 Wow, I have to agree, but it's easy for me to say being a woman, lol. I think a lot of men just like yourself saw him as someone to aspire too..well, at least in his physique. His looks, well..that's a roll of the genetic dice, but I think he's the most physically beautiful man I've ever seen too and he had a nice, charming, and down to earth disposition to match it. :) Thanks for the comment.

Had the pleasure to personally meet Jon-Erik in 1983 at the Mall of 163 Street in North Miami Beach, Florida. At the time he was a principal in the TV series, 'Voyagers'. Did ask him of any favorite episodes of the Voyagers, he did respond as the Christmas Special and some upcoming episodes which haven't aired. A sad lost.

Did you know they sold his car instead of selling it to one of his friends? OMG, i was shocked, disbelief, and etc! Sent her an email and said she needs to find his car and get it back so we can see it again. If i had money, i would find it. Another lesson to learn from this is to have a will.

Well, I guess it's hard to think of writing a will when you are just 26, but it's something to keep in mind, especially if you have property of value. Wherever it is, I'm sure it's in good hands, that car was a classic even in the early eighties.

I guess they were very upset about the entire Hollywood society and wanted to avoid any discussions about Jon-Erik's things, especially with all the media just waiting for another story related to his tragedy.

Yes, i did. It wasnt his friends fault what he did that day. Im still ticked about it and that he was cremanted which he never wanted. It wasnt going to change anything. I was raised with guns in the house and too bad he didnt have the same lesson. Guessing his family never spoke about gun issues. Even in jest, ive never put a gun to my head and im 38. An age he never got to see...it sucks!

It would be great if some of his things would be discovered again. I wonder if it's possible to find anything after all those years. How come you know he didn't want to be cremated? I doubt he even thought about that at all.

Btw I tend to believe that his accident did not result from a lack of knowledge on his side. Considering his exhausted condition, it might just have been one wrong move he did.

Yes, it would be nice to see his things again. How about those black leather pants aside from car! :) There are one or two quotes where he says the word bury/burial. I had his poster, pics, People Mag which i no longer possess. If your taught about guns and someone constantly reminds dont you ever put etc then i believe he wouldnt have done it. No one stayed on him about the subject. I havent seen Cover Up in 24 yrs. Recently bought Voyagers! and need to finish watching it. :)

Btw wasn't Heath Ledger cremated too? I believe I read somewhere that his family was worried that "fans" might destroy the gravesite or even dig him up - who knows what comes to somebody's mind.

I didn't know that about Ledger. You're right, fans can get pretty grisly and desperate, that's sad. LOL..The leather pants...someone may have them.

His family were still deciding whether to bury/cremantion before his funeral. Im guessing his will released yesterday never talked about his death(bury..) I havent found anything about the fans comment. Jon took several pics wearing those pants if you noticed. They worked for him though..lol!

Jon-Erik was an organ donor, and his most of his organs were used to help many others. If you think about it, it's much more logical and cheaper to have a cremation, considering there is not much left to bury. I suppose his family just wanted to leave it at that. I agree that he must have been very exhausted, it could have been a complete slip of the finger.
