If you mean that I didn't seem all that happy, then yeah, back then there were only 2 people in the world who took chopstick-solving seriously. Now there are like 0. Sorry if I wasn't excited enough about beating... 1 person?
@KatrinaPolson Are you serious? I wrote it fast, didn't pay attention to grammar. (I reckon it was fully understandable all the same). If you check out my channel, you can see, that I'm a huge fan of Rubik's cubes. When I said he is an idiot, I meant it in a positive way. I just love what this guy's doing, but it's an idiot thing to solve a cube with chopsticks, don't ya think? As a speedcuber, I LOVE idiot things like this, but it doesen't change the fact that it is an idiot thing to do:).
That cube has to be so unbelievably loose. I assume while solving it pops a lot?
Very nice, by the way. I did a chopstick solve one time. Probably won't do it again for a while, as I need to practice for a few tournaments coming up.
ive seen people solve the cube in 10 seconds, solve it while blindfolded, with one hand, with their feet even...but this may be going a little over the top. Pretty cool though=)
you can eat chinease food with it but instead while you were biting into your noodles you had an apifony, i could solve a rubix cube with these things. so you did. and now your ability to eat food is now mastered.
WOW... even though the friend that showed me this said it was fake... still even if it was fake that's still crazy lol (i dont think it's fake... but i still beat u two handed =P :36 for me)
My best with 2 hands is still 1.20 =(....but that's layer by layer method.....I don't see how you guys do oll and pll so fast =(...so amny algorithms to remember.
Haha yeah I think so too. I tried feetsolving once but I barely made it past cross and all I really did was get my cube dirty with my socks:P I'll try again sometime I guess...
It was a DIY which I bought at Caltech Summer, and I could never make tight enough for my liking for speedsolve... Then I came across chopstick solving, and I found that this cube was perfect for that.
Really amazing ! :)

@edd5190 Its still quite an achievement considering I can barely do 1 side, lol.

That cube must be massively lubed in order to turn so easily and smoothly.

It actually wasn't.

oh my god. your an idiot:D
SteelMagyar 2 years ago
..what?
edd5190 2 years ago
your an idiot, in the "positive meaning" of the word:P
SteelMagyar 2 years ago
What "positive meaning"?
edd5190 2 years ago
@SteelMagyar I love it when people say "your an idiot", because, in using the possessive form of 'your', they immediately turn the joke on themselves.
I don't think edd5190, or anyone for that matter, has the ability to own the phrase "an idiot".
Next time, say "you're (you are) an idiot". People will take you more seriously.
Also, this is an awesome video, and I would never be able to do that. Freaking amazing.

This isn't unofficial world record since there isn't even an official world record. They don't hold this event at competitions.
TheCheesyCheesus 3 years ago
It is not official, therefore it is unofficial.

you're so slow at solving this (compared to the fast normal solves I've seen) that I actually have time to memorize your F2L algs. thanks.
plexdudeblob 4 years ago
I'm not sure whether that's a compliment or not, haha
edd5190 4 years ago
It's a compliment. I'm just a beginner at speedcubing, so I haven't memorized F2L algs yet. Seriously, it's a compliment!

Ok just checking lol

good to check. You probably know that there are n00bs out there that post bad comments. I meant no harm with my original comment.

Is your cross colour know yellow? Or did you just do that because you could make an X cross?
esquimalt1 4 years ago
I just did it because I saw an easier cross on the yellow side, though I usually do white cross.
edd5190 4 years ago
That's what I thought.
esquimalt1 4 years ago
You are really taking this chopstick solving too the next level. Are you the chopstick solving champ?
cube41 4 years ago
Yes, hence the word "UWR" in the title, and me yelling "Yes! World record!" in the title:)
