I was 15 in 1980, and it was the same, not as bad though, people were glued to the television, people were on there steps listening to radios and watching portable televisions that night, then it broke, Tugs final out on Kansas city, then horns and everything broke loose, I was with my father at Broad and Snyder, guy's were hitching rides on the trackless trolley, I mean shaking the bus, it was stupid, yet, not like these crazy, stupid drunken asses! The so called enlightened generation!
Pride, most of you asses were only there to get drunk and bust up the city, most of your asses came over the bridge from Jersey and the burbs, trashed South Broad street, and let me say this, I never saw that much glass in my life, bottles ankle deep at Broad and Packer, I was going to work the day of the parade, never saw that many beer bottles, the sanitation department needs a great hand of applause, they cleaned it up in no time, and what a mess it was man, what a disgrace, drunken asses!
Thats all I remember... is just being wasted and everytime someone started a Lets Go Phillies chant I had to yell it... Needless to say I could barely talk by the end of the night.

I had so much fun that night.I tossed rox n botles at pigs all night.When they tried to arrest the mob attacked..It was reverse,and they hated it..They had to call in state police or we wouldve kicked all there asses and buttfucked there women.
most cops are good family guys just doing their jobs. The minority asshole ones are the ones giving all cops a bad name. They let the powertrip go to their heads

I was at the parade, and I didn't encounter any negative incidents b/t the cops and the fans. In fact they left the fans alone for the most part.
