  • I am in Panama Beach, Florida. Do you believe the DNA test methods should be changed where there is no inconclusive result, only positive or negative? Would this more aggressive approach help stop Citrus Greening? Does inconclusive mean positive?

  • This is a very serious situation. Not just for Florida but for the entire Citrus industry worldwide. The problem needs a lot more media coverage.

  • Inconclusive means positive. If a little trace amount of citrus greening is present, it's positive. That's the mistake that was made here in Florida. Inconclusive. Another thing is everyone had a magnesium deficiency, by the time they figured out it wasn't a magnesium deficiency, it was too late. Too many mistakes were made. Too many Inconclusive, & magnesium deficiency determinations in the beginning. Florida citrus could have been saved.
