  • @TheGetano1 1. Cop's primary job is to protect the safety of the public. They speed sometimes in doing so. I think they also are certified in evasive manuevering of vehicles safely and have outstanding driving records. 2. When tracking a speeder, cops don't use their lights and siren until they intend to pull the vehicle over. 3. They are not above the law, however they do have certain powers granted to them that civilians do not, hence they are cops.

  • hahahaha dude youre going like 70 mph.. 10 over. Who gives a fuck.

  • And YOU are freakin' FILMING while you are driving??? What a dope!

  • Cops suck, but this is really fucking stupid.

  • looks like he is just keeping up with traffic...no big deal.

  • self-incrimination dumbass

  • Another one of these assholes that hate cops and will do anything to make them look bad. Try living without them

  • ok and you are above the law?

  • Why are you so concerned that the police car is speeding. If you like checking speeds so much why don't you join a police dept. Everybody speeds... Doctors, lawyers, judges, ect. Who cares

  • @RichieBananas people care when the same douche gives them a ticket for it

  • Ok so let me ask you this. If you call the police and it takes 30 minutes to get there it is just ridiculous. BUT if you haven't called the police and they are speeding thats also ridiculous. So do you now propose that they raise YOUR taxes to pay for more cops on the street to cut down response time, drive everywhere with lights and sirens on which is highly dangerous, or maybe drive 10 miles an hour over the speed limit?

  • why don't you slow the fuck down. your not above the law either. mabe you should get a ticket because you just convicted your dumb ass for speeding with the date time and location. fucking moron

  • oh and just for the record, this trooper is off duty, hence the removable lightbar taken off the top of his cruiser. So if going a few miles over the speed limit...off duty should get him fired, your crazy.

  • In CT traffic usually flows at 70-75 MPH. They'll pull people over doing 80+ (people blowing past the rest of traffic).

  • people just hatin because they cant get away with the shit they get away with suks right but we need them so get use to it my respects to all law enforcement officers all over the nation. sometimes they piss me off but rather be on their side

  • i guess every cop in america should be fired...

  • if they can speed, so can we

  • @Hydrogenperoxidefox

If he's just driving, then it is wrong. But, after riding with a cop I realized that if they used their lights on every semi-urgent call that they got, it would drive everyone insane. Just something to think about.

  • So that's ok to do, why don't you put your name, badge no., and department up here and see who's done. Maybe because your way out of line????

  • Comment removed

  • You forgot your name, but thank you, after I search the address/phone number and verify that you are indead the one on this thread I will file a report in regards to your comment on here. Good day sir.

  • Funny, your tube profile says you're 19, yet you're a chief? Hmmm you sir have been caught in a lie, you'll make a great LEO someday, on a power trip and full of shit.

  • you also forgot to mention he spelled chief wrong....some people on here crack me up

and in response to my statement....i understand people have different viewpoints on this and many other topics that are similar.....depending on where you live my "dui scenario" may not be justifiable- all i am saying is that sometimes it is plausible to not run code to a call (keep in mind sometimes it is the lights and siren that cause accidents"

but don't get me wrong i do see your point as well

  • i can tell you first hand, they are on the job- they aren't speeding to the local tavern for a drink, or headed to a friends house--- they are simply doing their job.....the job sometimes requires things outside the box (the only people that don't understand this AND rebel, are people who are very narrow minded and VERY sour form past experiences

    now BRING ON THE HATERS

  • On the job, yeah ok, speeding? not using turn signals, etc...have nothing to do with if they are working or not, it's the law and they'll stop US for it, but they don't do it themselves.

  • looks like someone is sour from getting a ticket. Its very simple, dont fucking speed.....and if you get caught, man up and pay the fine

big deal the cop sped....for all you know he could have been headed to an non-in progress call....get a life moron

oh and by the way.....its illegal to film and drive at the same time- maybe you should start looking for cops that do that too

  • if its not in progress what's the need to speed...

  • sorry I worded it wrong

let me ask you this.....if you were a cop and had a call of ...lets say a dui driver that was possibly located just ahead maybe a mile or so by a motorist- would you A. drive the EXACT speed limit and more than likely not gain ANY ground on him--- NO B. fly ahead lights and sirens until you find the subject???? NO (that is too dangerous and its not confirmed that he is there or dui

you may say this is a total long shot.... but truth of the matter is-- its not

  • Okay if hes looking for a car reported with a drunk driver and it drives by him why would he go try and follow him without his lights on. The only time I could see an officer doing this is if they were going as a back up officer. But there cops so whatever I don't really care if they speed or not.

  • i just meant if the call came out and the cop was already a mile back (never had him in sight)

yeah i didn't mean any disrespect to you...i just can't believe this guy took video of a cop "speeding" and took the time to post it....it blows my mind how ridiculous people are

  • in my town, if a "possible" DUI is called in, our police will use lights and sirens and drive about the speed limit to reach said DUI vehicle, and it works every time. What's more dangerous for a LEO, speeding with or without emergency warning? If you say without then I can speed to get home because it's safe??? Get my point?

  • Ok, 1. you're defending a LEO who broke the law that he will enforce on you, kinda stupid of you. 2. Big deal cops speed, yeah it is if they aren't responding to an emergency, why? BECAUSE IT'S THE LAW. 3. It's illegal to drive and film? Where's the law? How do you know it wasn't a passenger?

  • I am glad this cop is speeding on the highway. There is nothing worse than getting behind a cop that is doing the speed limit. It looks like he is leading a parade, cars pack up behind him bumper to bumper and no one can go anywhere. I have places to go and I dont need the delay. If anyone in the pack losses control talking on their cell phone it could take everyone out. Get a life

  • Try not going 65 in the left lane first, haha.

  • how do you know that he was not responding to a call, you do know that they respond code 2 (no lights or siren activated) to calls on a regular basis, well actually to a majority of calls!

    you're a dumbass!

  • Cops can speed all they want, in NY they go faster than 85 mph in a 65 all the time....

  • "he's going with traffic" is the lamest excuse in the book. People speed no matter who they are. My dad speeds up to 120mph in 65 mph zones. Our Local Police go through the stop signs outside my house. Big Deal.

  • statees can go up to 85

  • yer an idiot

  • hey fuckhead, u fail ur drivers test? he's going with traffic. why do u think he's not pulling over EVERYONE in front of him.

  • @mastercfromhalo3

ya its called "Flowing with Trafic" and the cop wasn't really doing anything wrong... but i'll tell you what... I'm from CT and if you drive over into NY state... those cops are 100x more asshole then CT cops... i got pulled over for flowing with traffic, in between vehicles going the same speed as me... the cop purposely picked me out somehow.

  • police must follow the law like everyone else. thats why america was started, to get away from a king who could do anything he wanted at any time. the state or feds are not our king. the people are in control. a nation of laws for everyone. the cop should only identify and then stop him. he cannot drive over the limit until he feels like stopping someone. that is illegal. give him a ticket. to all the chumps below who are cops or want to be cops and who want to allow cops to speed - Russia

  • Before you comment read the individual state's Vehicle Code and find out who is exempt to what driving laws!

Yeah Russians are really ones to speak about laws and obeying them, go back to Russia where someone may actually give a rats ass about what you have to say!

  • Where I live in South Carolina the cops are so corrupt it's disgusting. They speed all the time.

  • dude get a life.. you should see the MA state cops they do atleast 100+ in non emergency situations. but who cares if there fyling by you there not giving you a ticket...

  • To all you sissys called cops, you cant hide behind your badge forever. And if you havent noticed, other agencies in this state are on to you. Which means that sooner or later you will know what the bologna and cheese sandwiches at BCC taste like, as well as my fist.

  • im a maine state trooper so i understand there are assholes out there. but best of luck to you on you journey :D

  • My apology, I figured it was just by another punk who hates cops. I don't know where you're from but cops around here at times can totally abuse the speed limit(most definitely when on calls but without siren and flashers.) If I can get hired anywhere, I don't plan on abusing any power.

  • I hate the fact that these guys hide behind trees to feed on the very people that provide their purpose in life, yet they can leave the hide out and drive worse then those they hunt.

  • When you see this, call *HP or whatever the lcoal # is for the highway patrol - NOT 911. Cops like this set a bad example for those of us with kids about to drive and even younger one that ask, why can they speed but others get tickets.

If they're on a call they should use flashers, etc. Typical unfortunately and unless they're reported and/or video taped like this, they will continue to be above the law.

  • They need legal justification to run code 3 (lights and siren activated) which means that they need to be responding to an ACTUAL EMERGENCY!!!! Most of the calls that come into 911 are not real emergencies and so responding to them code 3 puts lives at risk when there is no need for it! Trust me running code 3 is a lot more dangerous to both the public and the officers than them just speeding!

Besides it is you, the parent, that children imitate in their driving the most not random cops!
