Nokia N900: How to create playlists in the music player application

How do you put your playlist in order? It does not give you that option?

No playlist ordering on the current firmware, I'm afraid. You can shuffle the playlist though.

However, it is possible to install third party media players if you don't like the built-in one.

So simple to do once you do it. Feel like a real fool now. Playlist and Equalizers are the 2 things that pissed me off about the N900. Only thing now is to find out that there is a hidden menu that does equalizers.

Don't worry, it took me a while to work out how to do it, but it is easy once you know how. :)

One of the big advantages of the Maemo platform is that you can install third party apps if you don't like the one that comes with the device. There are some other Maemo music players available from third parties I believe.

I found an app called Media Box but that was terrible. Thanks to your video my N900 music player is very well organised

is the nokia n900 compadiable with rhapsody? i was having trouble downloading songs on.

The N800 and N810 are Rhapsody compatible so I assume there's a version coming to the N900, but as far as I know it isn't out yet.
