What to do when you are afraid to talk to someone you like

I've only managed to do that twice in my life time. The next time she met me she was like I don't want to see you again. Incredibly hard to do that on purpose. It just happens sometimes when you least expect it.

So first impression ain't important because they won't care anyway? I disagree with that. People will remember first impression and judge you by that no matter what. You may be able to change that later but to say people don't notice your mistakes when talking isn't true.

every energy I have is absorbed by my feelings, and that's what causes chocking on words and awkwardness. I already don't care about other people think of me. But I risk to lose my personality right in front of those who should see the best in me!

I had a date yesterday, it was crazy because when I said I was appalled when they liked elephants also, she started laughing so hard... because I didn't mean appalled I ment to say amazing. I am still trying to work out my fears of saying the wrong thing. This showed me that sometimes saying the wrong thing makes it funny.

Go up to them and ask if they like to hear a joke and tell'em the joke and that's a good way to break the ice. And if they like it you can start to talk to them and it won't seem to be that bad or hard.
