  • Best part is you're wearing an Iggy Pop T-Shirt w/ the Igster sprawling about....STOOGES MEET ZEP ! HOLY FUCK !!

  • @leonakita hehe, yes, but wouldn't it have been a little awkward if I had been wearing a Led Zep shirt, like I was the craziest fan? (which I am, as a matter of fact, but he didn't have to know from the first glance^^)

  • @SlashFlash93 Also, Jimmy, not the most photogenic of people ( often looking like someone hit him in the face with a flat iron), looks quite dapper in your pic. A real win, win event, I'd have to say!

  • Li mortacci tua... =)

  • I saw Jimmy driving through Richmond Park, towards Kingston Gate.. I think it was a Roller, and he had a beard [1980 ish] we were driving the opposite way, towards Richmond. Lots of Rock & Rollers live around the area, but if I ever was to bump into Jimmy, I would probably not say anything! Lucky you that Jimmy was so friendly. He was a 'hero' of mine in the 70's...:)

  • I had the same chance to meet him like you! :D When I watched this video for the first time I didn't expect it happening to me as well! xD

  • Thanks for sharing your story; that was nice of Jimmy!

    Beautiful home.

  • That is so awesome, thanks for sharing, Jimmy Page ..

  • OMG!!!!! A dream come true!!!!

  • Oh, lucky you! I'd give everything to meet Him someday. Greetings from Poland :)

  • I thought Jimmy Page lived in Califonia??? i am kind of shocked that he still lives in the UK.

  • Wow, that was being in the right place at the right time

  • You hate Americans because we have nicer teeth and better radio stations. Right?

  • Funny fag the interviuer.

  • thats cool. Is this house that was Aleister Crowley's. I read that Jimmy Page ah ouse that belong to him. Or was it Toni Iommi..

  • I know your friend, i recognize the fingerprint.

  • Comment removed

  • @HiddenRoom1974 I hate to tell you but what you are hearing is Robert Plant on vocals and Jimmy Page on guitar (recorded for a Hank Williams tribute album). I think their country stuff is great (see, Bron Yr Stomp for example) but opinions can vary. Anyhow, Jimmy is still so handsome and talented, just love him.

  • @MagickZoso Well you can't blame anyone for not recognising this obscure track. Robert isn't the only one singing though is he. I think that the song "Friends" would have been more fitting ,,, also it was recorded in the same sessions as Bron Yr Stomp. Thanks and take care !!..

  • Well, i'm american and love Jimmy Page a lot! I'm not fancy...but very proud to be american...which doesn't mean i have a "hatred" for others...but now leaving appart all that crap...is just great to met Jimmy in person...even if is less than 5 minutes...Lucky you !!!

  • What is this? I know for a fact I live like 2 minutes away from his house from this video, YET IVE NEVER MET JIMMY PAGE? YOU AMERICANS. GUDHGFHG.

  • @Rainmakerlola Are you kidding me? I'm not American :D

  • @SlashFlash93

Sorry I reckoned you were American "on our trip to London" and I have a hatred for Americans hahaha oh god, where are you from? And yes I only live round the corner! But I've never even seen him?!

  • @Rainmakerlola Never mind. Neither do I fancy Americans too much xD

    Anyway, I'm from Germany.

Maybe you've never seen him because he doesn't go there very often. He told us, that we had been lucky meeting him there at all.

  • @SlashFlash93 Of course you don't "fancy" Americans....apparently you didn't fancy Jews either several decades back....please go back to JP's house and ask him who his favorite artists are and who inspired him to pick up a fucking guitar....and ask him what country those artists were from...while your at it, ask him why it took him so long to pay Willie Dixon the money he owed him for stealing his songs....Europeans are morons....you don't even like the village or town next to you....

  • @SlashFlash93 actually, the comment below was intended for you Nazi....go ask JP who his favorite artists are Jew burner....I promise everyone he names off of his list will be 99.9% American....Jazz, Blues, R&B, Country and the Blues was started here...you worship JP...but you know nothing of the roots....ask Keith Richards who he owes the greatest artistic dept to...does Chuck Berry sound familiar to you? Chuck Berry was an American...without CB...there would be no Stones....moron

  • @fleshyglassbits Jesus man, take a chill pill. I'm an American and I'm so fucking sick of this "oh they ripped off the poor old blues guys" shit I can hardly stand it. Those old Blues guys had NO fucking career until British guys like Zeppelin revitalized the Blues. They'd be nothing but a bunch of old records in a dusty old museum if it wasn't for people like Jimmy. PLANT nicked a few lyrics from Dixon and he made more money from Zeppelin than he did in his whole career.

  • @MagickZoso FIrst off, my response was directed at two limeys on here putting down Americans...every time I go to Europe I hear the same ignorant bullshit about how Americans are inferior.......it is quite the other way around my misguided friend....I love Led Zep...but I am telling you right now, Zep, Sones, Beatles and all of the rest would not have had careers without the American Rock n Roll and Blues artists of the 30's - 50's...end of story....JP would tell you the same thing....

  • @MagickZoso Furthermore...I am not just talking about a bunch of "old blues guys"...Leo Fender was an American as was Les Paul (pioneers and inventors of the electric guitar)...not to mention C&W artists such as Hank Williams and Chet Atkins whom Page borrowed from immensely....as for Willie Dixon, he was a prolific song writer for Chess recoirds and was quite successful before the members of Led Zep were out of diapers...not to mention guys like Wolf and Waters....

  • I don't know where your from, but it's funny how people like you don't like Americans, that is until you need us or after we've bailed you out.France,Germany,Italy,China, Etc.etc.etc

Sometimes as Americans we don't care for things our government does either but as a people we've done more to help other people than the rest of you combined.

  • @frybri1 do us all a favor then and have a civil war, instead of attacking other people.

  • @frybri1 haha why are you even bothering whether I like a certain country or not? I don't love the USA and I don't hate them either. I just try to ignore them, like I ignore all annoying, stupid things, that I can't do anything about.

  • @Rainmakerlola It's kinda rude to group such a large amount of people into the category of "hatred". We're not any different than you; we're just adaptive to what's around us. It's not the people themselves that make us "Americans", it's the American environment that shapes us. Hey, if anything, we both fucking love Page, am I right? I won't lie though; we have some seriously ignorant people, as do you, and just as any nation; no need to use us as a scapegoat for what's wrong with the world...

  • @Chillybeef123 Okay I agree with this statement, but I'm just speaking from experience! I said HATRED for Americans, in general, I never even brought up music or anything related to Jimmy Page not liking Americans. If I go into it, it will be a long essay and no one will want to read it frankly. So end of story.

  • @Rainmakerlola yeah, how many people can say they were looking at JP's house and he came out and talked and posed for a pic. very cool . Now as for you hating Americans,,, Have you met all of them? Or do you just HATE because you are angry?

  • @BarryKunz64

I don't HATE Americans I said I have a HATRED for some American people, I should have made a better statement. Il'e be honest alot of people here don't respect Americans purely because of how they've potraid us/experience.

  • @Rainmakerlola I am American. My Mother grew up in middle sex ans sussex and could here London being bombed as alittle girl. she camr here when she was 12 or 13 . So having very British Grandparents ,(Grandfather being Welsh)They especially my Grandmother was the best , coolest nicest lady in the world to me and my brother. she would make us welsh cakes and lemon curd. Besides them, Ive always potrayed Bits as being the most polite and nicest people. Ive never heard anyone trashing Brits.

  • @BarryKunz64 And, Monty Python was ans still is to me,, the funniest show and movies , but now that my liking . some dont get the humor , but I love it. "Idiot abroad" Funny funny funny. Then there is Led Zep my personal favorite band of all time . I was14 when Bonzo died. I was crushed. just learning the drums . I was very bumbed out for a very long time. You should come here some day if you havent and you might be surprised how well Brits are welcomed and trewated here. . BKunz L.A. Cal.; )

  • @BarryKunz64 sorry , my typing sucks

  • @Rainmakerlola Hey asshole....if it were not for "Americans" there would be no Jimmy Page...or Led Zeppelin,Beatles or Stones etc etc....everything those British bands attempted to emulate started right here fucko....first with the blues and then rock n roll....now bow down in awe you piss ant limey communist dole loving bum fucker.....thats why when Jimi Hendrix went over there you all creamed your faggot pants...Scotty Moore was Page's mancrush.....you arrogant shit

  • @fleshyglassbits

In my first statement I was purely joking, because I live in London, yet I haven't met Jimmy Page. Did I say anything about American music or history? No, so calm down. I'm a big fan of American music. So shh.

  • @Rainmakerlola You like our music and our history, And yet you don't "fancy" Americans? thats like saying I don't fancy Black people, but I sure like their music and their food....hmmmmmm

  • @Rainmakerlola really? You hate Americans? Why don't you go back to Page's house and tell him that? He would not have a fucking career if it wasn't for Americans and American music you ignorant twat....

  • @Rainmakerlola Hey dumb fuck...why don't you take a look at the Ramones live in London? You Brits couldn't even invent Punk Rock....every Brit Punk Band worshipped at the alter of the Ramones....Jimmy Page was playing skiffle board...LMFAO before he heard Elvis....You Limey fucks are such twats....

  • @fleshyglassbits

LOL calm down mate, if you don't like British Rock N Roll, then why are you on a video related to Jimmy Page? & I didn't say anything about American music, I just don't like American attitudes towards us.

  • @Rainmakerlola I never claimed that I don't like Brit rock and roll....on the contrary.....I love the interpretation of American Music you Brits contributed....I have also been to your island several times and have toured there as a musician...and I will tell you this....a lot of the people I met there were awesome....but there were also a bunch of jealous twats putting down Americans,....America is where it all started don't forget that.

  • @Rainmakerlola You 'hate' Americans!!! Why do you hate us?? Hell, we love you guys, and you have nothing but disdain for us. Well, all I can tell you is, the felling is NOT mutual. I wish you and England the best!!!

  • been a huge fan forever would love to jam a tune with him. Its on my bucket list! Fat chance of that! What a cool dude for hanging with you a few minutes!

  • i say rather fortunate of you indeed.....would ave given me left nutter to meet him eh? quite nice pic to have in ones wallet too.......the legend jpp

  • 5 people don't like happy stories. Their hearts have a hole in it........:)

I am sure you still think about it.... I know I would.

  • wow. This was an amazing experience. I am so glad to see that you had the fortitude and the intuition to record this with photos and then share those photos with the world. I felt like I was able to have the opportunity to meet the man as well after watching this. Thank you for sharing.

  • Hope he's still there....I'll be there soon. Would be so cool to sit in a pub & have a drink with him! I'll show him pix of my house; not as cool as his, but mine looks like a castle too!

  • Does he still live there? You were so lucky... That's one of my highest dreams.

  • being jimmy page must be quite amazing...i guess if he wasnt married he'd have invited you into his home ;-)

  • lucky

  • Cool story. I met Jimmy Page in 1998 in Boston, when he dined at the restaurant where I was tending bar. He was super cool and quite friendly. He shook my hand and gave me his autograph, which I treasure to this day. There are but a few famous people I'd really like to meet, and he is one of them. He was such a gentleman and it was an honor to meet him. I fuckin' love that guy!!! If Plant doesn't want to tour with him, Jimmy should get the Black Crowes' Chris Robinson to do it. Awesome.

  • JIMMY PAGE RULES!

  • Nice to see what was basically an electrified skiffle group returning to its roots.

  • I HATE YOU WITH JEALOUSY!!! I'D DO ANYTHING TO HAVE JIMMY PAGE'S HAND AROUND MY WAIST!!! GRRRR. YOU'RE SO FREAKIN' LUCKY!!!

  • Omg I love you!

  • AWESOME VID.THANX

  • Wow...those are some WIDE hips!...

  • I've had the privilege of meeting Master Page several times, and each time he's been so nice and humble. The first time he spent 30 minutes chatting w/ me and my small group of friends. Five of us in all. The last time I gave him a bootleg tape of him playing w/ a band in Reno when he was working w/ David Coverdale. Page went to a bar and jammed w/ Solid Ground for an hour + and I had a copy of it. He looked shocked that I had it, but was very thankful for me giving it to him. Class gentleman!

  • @DrDeath26 "THANK YOU"FOR THE STORY.NEVER TIRE OF HEARING ABOUT JIMMY PAGE

  • You fortunate soul. I couldn't hold it together if that happened. I would just die, right there.

  • I would almost trade my left nut to a sperm bank just to shake Jimmy Page's hand! If I had the pleasure of meeting him, I suppose all I could say is: "Mr. Page, I love your work, and I (and millions of other people) think it's timeless!"

I might add a request that he open up a charity guitar -lesson school, and in his spare time, to help and teach the last TWO generations of musician/guitarists how to actually play the fine instrument!!! :)

  • u fukin lucky pieces of shit ......

  • I met him at Byron Burgers in London on a school trip.

  • @lkjlkjlkjlkjlkjlkj6 where is that in London? a burger shop? haha cool.

  • ? How the fuck did you know where Jimmy Page lived. So you guys just walked up and knocked on his front door like trick or treaters on holloween. Were you wearing a UPS uniform ?..

  • who is "jimmy page"??

  • if you had a guitar, he have probably signed it for you.......or more time & he'd jam with you in the basement.....you lucky bastard..........congrats ....he is a living legend, seen em three times ......last time was with robert on the page /plant tour.........but seen em in the 70's with bonzo ...... there was magic in the air those nights .........

  • Are those Double D's on the madam?

  • So lucky....... I am 50, seen them, worship the tunes, Led Zeppelin is the benchmark all bands strive for ,and Jimmy is the worlds mentor on so many different instruments.

  • Lucky, Lucky, Lucky - Chance of a lifetime - Congrats!!!

  • I would have passed out right then and there.

  • so cool!!! i play guitar & compose music & would love to meet him & the others from the band still here. he is & will alway b my idol. in fact, they r all my idols! thanx for sharing. p. s.: it would have been cool if he let u inside the house just to see what it looks like inside

  • I met my hero Roger Decoster (motocross) yrs ago. I started to have a panic attack about 5 min into the conversation when I realized who I was talking to. If I met J Page, I'd pass out. The salesman at GTR CENTER in Hollywood, said J Page would come in ever so often. He said, he was always very friendly.

  • Wait woah what happened? He just walked out of the front door when you guys were there? What lucky timing!

  • jimmy is a legend !!!!

  • Very cool. Your lucky?

  • you lucky guy!

  • God I would love to meet him... Hes one of my biggest inspirations!!!!!!!!

  • YAY! For you girl.

  • Jimmy is the coolest. You can tell he loves giving back to the fans. If only Robert Plant were half as cool.

  • @markbray72 Really? I've heard of people having terrific experiences with Robert. I'm surprised.

  • This so inspiring, you must be super happy, congratulations!!!! I'm going to take plane to London and try to meet him too.

  • I would have been overwhelmed . oh man , what about that lick you played in 'for your life " and how did u come up with that solo in 'ten yrs gone " and how did u get that tone on 'in my time of dying " . these are things i would be thinking but I would likely just stand there silent or stammering like an idiot

  • Darn!! No way! way? Nahhh! uggg! Photo shop right? No? some people have all the luck or timming! So coooool! Lucky gal!

  • Thats nice - he must get pissed off with tourists good man!

  • WOW WHAT A DREAM, CONGRATS

  • great vid ,thanks for sharing

  • I guarantee, If It was a couple of dudes (males) he would have spent no more than 30 seconds! If that, and then called security!

  • Lady Luck that day touched your head...

  • I would have shook like a leaf if I so much as stood next to him...and then naturally explode from sheer happiness.

He's the reason I picked up guitar and quite honestly my life hasn't been the same since I first heard Led Zeppelin IV.

  • he has owned that home for almost 40 years

  • oh my god... im 16, i hope i can meet him one day and not cry for too much happiness... *___* greetings from italy! long live to jimmy!

  • To be honest...I'm not surprised at this at all. You don't write the kind of incredible music that he has and then turn out to be a jerk. I would have died a happy man the day after if that was me.You are one lucky girl.Good for you!

I would have loved to be there.

  • Wow - so lucky! Thanks for sharing this sweet story and so nice that Jimmy himself is nice! I used to live nearby and walked past many times - If I had ever sen him I would have self-combusted on the spot!

  • Comment removed

  • you're an extreme lucky person. great job meeting the one and only

  • I've always wanted to meet him!! How did you find out where he lives? Does he still live there?

  • How cool to have met Jimmy Page, a living rock icon!!

  • PLEASE EVERTBODY WILL U ALL AGREE WITH ME JIMMY PAGE IS THE GREATEST AND WAY BETTER THAN HENDRIX WHO COULDNT EVEN READ MUSIC U CANT EVEN COMPARE HIM 2 PAGES GUITAR PLAYING ALONE

  • @bigbob8me Readying music doesn't guarantee greatness. A lot of great musicians never learned to read music, in fact Jimmy Page didn't learn to read music until AFTER he became a professional session guitarist, and he still mostly plays and composes by ear. Hendrix didn't read music because he didn't have to. Comparing Page and Hendrix is rather fruitless. Hendrix's life was cut short so we'll never know if he could eclipse Page in the long run.

  • @40AcreMule u make good sense but page is able 2 read write and play anytipe of music hendrix is the godfather of freedback and disturtion but page is mozart and if u cant compare things u cant judge greatness and in yhis case the record speaks 4 itself take is easy dude later

  • Comment removed

  • @IanTorpedo1 DUDEi would never tell u who to like but zappa aint no page either but alot closer than hendrix by a long shot and you have to compare to find out whos better even though theyre all great page is greatest and his record proves it LATER

  • @bigbob8me My name is not DUDE. You missed my point completely. I'm not comparing Zappa as a guitarist to Page or others. I'm a foam-at-the-mouth Page fan. He's my favourite guitarist. I have all LZ recordings including rare bootlegs on vinyl. I've been to Boleskin house (and no, he wasn't home). I have a broad taste in music. My point is that arguing/bickering over which guitarist is best is pointless. It's entirely subjective. Focusing on the positive is better for your health. Peace

  • @bigbob8me 1ts of all u started al the insults and neggativity and u have a potleaf on ur picture and ur offended by me callin u dude ! common DUDE THERES NOTHIN NEG BOUT ME STATING A FACT by the way i like herb myself and i call everyone dude and bro i like an appreciate any artist name i mentioned i never insul unless insulted and im only tryin to have a conversation not tryin to b neg PEACE BROTHER

  • Ah, you lasses are so lucky! Thanks for sharing this, it's beautiful!

  • I figured you'd come away looking 20 years older like Moses after speaking with the Lord God! Thanks for sharing this story, very cool!

  • Wow, this is cool!! Slash, were you wearing a Zep shirt or who is that on your t-shirt? Also, are you American? I figure that's what you meant by "he seemed very pleased to receive such credit from our side." Thanks for sharing. You are lucky, lucky. Buy a lottery ticket!

  • wow you are so lucky :D

  • That is AWESOME you met Jimmy Page!!!!!!!! You should have invited my wife and I too.

  • píčovina

  • I've made that pilgrimage. Not sure what I would have done if he had come outside, other than piss my pants.

  • LUCKY! (as said by Napoleon Dynamite) wish I was you!

  • lucky! (as said by Napoleon Dynamite) :)
