I actually saw this dog in a theater. Caroline Munro in tall boots and tight outfits wasn't hard on the eyes, but the rest of the movie was beyond laughable. I understand that David Hasselhof was an unknown and would take any film - but why, oh why did Christopher Plummer ever say yes to this dog? Must have been an equity job.

This actually made around 3 million when it was released, and it was a huge joke. All the actors gave their most over the top for the fun of it. Better than Star Wars for entertainment value alone.

Caroline Munro is someone I recently met at a Dalek Invasion Day at Yeovilton museum, when she was at a signing table. She was an absolute joy to chat with about her movies!! This movie is one of those that is so low budget and tacky it's like a lot from that era, i.e. FUN!!

I saw this in theaters when it opened in '79. The audience laughed it off the screen. This film sucks so badly. It looks like Italian high school kids did the FX. Did MST3k cover this? They HAD to. It would be unwatchable without the 'bots. Seriously. On a better note, I remember seeing the teaser trailer to Alien when seeing this. The audience freaked.
