Visted Guymon from the UK..... The cops are lovely, the firemen wonderful and the people are the friendliest people I have ever met. Brought back lovely memories, thank you.
sweet vids man, seen just a few and u like them lots, good music too, have a couple question ifin u get the chance, keep up the great vids bre, keep the shiny side and the rubber side bown, be safe!
Thanks again. This vid reminds me of a trip I did from Vancouver, BC to Brownsville, TX. There was 3 loads on 3 separated trucks. My truck broke down in Lamar, so I waited for another truck, and we drove double to Brownsville, dropped his load, and bobtailed back up to Lamar and picked up mine. Needless to say, I now know the routed pretty well.
Kool. New Mexico is one of my favorite states to drive thru. The "Land of Enchantment" is correct.
Obama wouldn't have bothered me so much if it weren't for Pelosi, Reid & Schumer. Obama has become the key to give those 3 stooges access to the mechanisms that could destroy this country as we have known it. But McCain wasn't much of a choice either. It was a painful election.
Thanks TDD. I'm glad you enjoy my perspective because I pissed off a bunch of people on my old channel when I shared my perspective on Obama when he won the election. I think it was my portrayal of him as a communist that got under their skin lol. So far it's looking like he's going to prove me right. Oh wait, I see you're from Cali. Hmmmm....maybe I shouldn't be telling you this? lol Peace
great ride, sat here in my chair, but looks nearly as bad as the roads here, for bumps, man hole covers that stick out, or drop like 6 inches, and when they redo the tarmac, a week later they dig it up again, and never resurf it properly when finished.
great music also, a fair bit better than the other videos, but that is personal preference, so can only mark on that.
it is more the fact companies like the water board don't want to spend more than they have to on repairs, so they pay just for the tarmac, instead of doing all the processes in building up the layers they just do the one, and a quick run over with a steam-roller to level it. and then do a fly-by night, so no-one can prove they didn't do the job right.
I was watching this vid while drinking a beer... and I wonder. Would someone marry me? I just need a green card. My offer is a house all for her and her affairs. I just want to drive, and drive, and drive...
By the way, that car at 3:20 was haulin a double? Never saw that. Funny.
It depends on a number of things. Like how badly do I need the money, do I have another idea that I'm itching to get started on, have I already worked on it so much that I'm sick of looking at it already, Am I writing a possible classic, or just a trendy piece that will be irrelevant in a few years, and yadda, yadda, yadda....
Thanks Tex. I love driving out that way. When I find a stretch with no one else on it it's just me & God out there. Makes it easier to feel close to Him.
I love driving out there too. I'm just coming bacck from there again. Went up to WY again. Good Lord was the weather nasty up there.! Made for some more great footage tho. I'll be adding it to this series.
What road are you on at 2:19?

You don't see anything until you get to Boise City OK before you cross in to NM--A huge dustbowl storm in 1935 in the Boise City Area.

Especially the ones out in the middle of nowhere. There's something to be said for living like that in a small community.

If you finished a book, but thought it wasn't the best you could have done with that concept and idea, would you still have it published?
