Ah Somebody to Love, this was one Queens best singles and best songs and one that sits in the minds with millions of people as a remarkable record. However when played live it took on another life.

Some songs sound better on the record (BoRhap, AKO Magic, Bicycle race etc) others live (Tie Your Mother Down & Hammer To Fall being the obvious ones) but was a rare example of a song that was great on radio/vinal and even better live.

Whats cool about this vid is that it reminds us that Freddie was much more than a great singer/frontman and lets us remember him as a talented and hard working musician. Many people tend to just remember his charisma and stage prancing, etc., but here he is working the piano (they could easily have had another musician play the piano for him), drinking beer, and belting it out, not just hamming it up. I can hope this will be part of his legacy and that he would have wanted it that way.
