@Hikikomori013 Thank you for your kind comments, it does make a difference to hear them. I see you have a wide interest in music and obviously look into the details. I see you have an interest in the Ukulele as well, take a look at the Video Rodrigo on the Rocks hopefully you will find it of interest. Also, I have a new CD out of the Boccherini "Fandango" Quintet, if you like the Sanz you would love the Fandango played with wild abandon. Enjoy & thank you!
Sanz, a dance master in Canary Island ? where does this info came from ? He was living in Spain, and spend some time in Italy and published his method for baroque guitar in 1674 (Sarragossa).
It's apparant that you have researched music and musicians very well indeed. I'm afraid at this point you will have to assume my information to be "hear say" as it was a long time ago, 1969 when I was working through his tablature and using the resources at my college, California Institute of the Arts. Based on your attention to authenticity, I can assume my rendering is not to your taste but I thank you for taking the time to listen & comment.
Sanz wrote the most influential primers for the baroque guitar. This and, of course, Folia are his most popular and enduring pieces.
And you, sir, have presented a most wonderfully dynamic and exciting interpretation. A baroque master performance.
