@kkjimfa Between you and me I also think it's too 80s for an opener! But thank you for watching the little video I made... over 3 years ago! Wow time flies.
@MetalChanel5of10 Star Trek does have a certain feel but it seems to be that uplifting instrumental music that the producers were so fond of. Guess they tried to 'modernise' Enterprise which wasn't to the taste of most fans.
I really like this one, although I have to admit that the music is really too 80's. But still, great idea, the original intro is just far too calm (and the only one in the ST Universe I know about that contains singing...)
@ASDMZE Very true, and if you were wondering Earth star Voyager was very 80's! Such a laugh as well, I mean the actors on there we slightly too young for the role they played but it was 80's Sci-Fi!
Very nicely done! I am a huge fan of all the Star Trek series and loved Earth Star Voyager as well! Showed a lot of creativity as far as I am concerned! Shame Hollywood doesn't have the best minds, people like you posting on YouTube show that some of the BEST minds are here among us and don't get the credit you deserve!
@voyager202000 Thank you! That was a really well thought out comment and I'm flattered.
And as Don Marquis once said, "An idea isn't responsible for the people who believe it."
So thank you, for watching my video. It really means a lot to me. And who knows, maybe one day, those big producers out there may one day listen to the little voices like mine and yours!
Possibly - though a sad lack of TARDIS. That would have made Enterprise's missions a heck of a lot easier.
And Earth Star Voyager does have that 80's twang to the music (because it was made in the 80's!) and did have cartoonish elements. Though I don't remember it much because I was little... which may be why I thought it was cool at the time... :D
Yeah, not very many people like Enterprise. In fact, you and Bloempje721 are the only two I've talked with on here that has done anything with Enterprise, and she only made an alternate opening.
I've found that in my area of Ohio, I'm the only Trekkie, with the exception of my science teacher. :)
this is the actual third video of yours that I watch. Comment, that you should go pro.
Matching a good selection of music and clips are not easy. But you got far anyway.
Idea, (if you think it's a working combination) Remember Gattaca? Enterprise opening with that music (departure - michael nyman) should be a hard enough homework for ya.
Go pro?! Why thank you but I don't feel I'm that good yet! Call me a perfectionist but I look at them and see little errors here and there. But XD!!
As for Gattaca, I was quite young when it came out and vagueley remember watching it - did it have Uma Thurman in it??
And it may be a while yet as I'm a bit snowed under with nasty things like essays and dissertations! But who knows, something many crawl out of the woodwork!
Lots of space battle scenes in this opening! I like it overall, and think that with a proper orchestra it could definitely give the original a run for its money. Good job!
Why thank you! I just had to throw in some action sequences because that was part of the appeal of Ent. The special effects were literally out of this world! Thanks for commenting ;) LLAP!
I know - spooky! I saw Reed and thought "Woah! He's nice" and I googled Connor and was like "Whoops wrong guy!"
On a random note, Virgin is broadcasting Enterprise Episodes in order and today's is Terra Nova! And the part where Reed is in the cave and the Novans play the music gives me chills! XD
This opening kicks ass. I love the orginal as well, because I grew up with the space program in my backyard but WOW. Maybe seeing clips like that would have brought the viewers back.
Thanks! I love outer space; always watch the shuttles launch on TV. My fave shuttle's the Discovery (hence the name) because she's lucky! Thanks for the kind comment and the subscribe! *smiles* Glad u liked! XD
I remember when I first saw Ent, I had a few problems working out who was who - I though Dominic Keating was Trip! Thats why I tried with the titles and actor! And the music's from 1988!
But fair enough, it's not everyone's cup of tea! :)
Your video is astonishing, absolutely fabulous! I wish a million people could see your video! If only Earth Star Voyager's intro looked this good back in 1988, the movie would surely have become a series!
hi ... great video but maybe a bit long for opening theme

This is for now the best alternate opening but some times music has no star trek felling, just a litle...

Guess they shot themselves in the foot there.

Seems a bit like Dr. Who mixed with really bad 80's cartoon music.

And one who likes Enterprise!

I was the only Trekkie around as well, though I know other people who watched it. And at a con I was one of the youngest!
But it was Ent that got me into the franchise.
And even then I kept humming the Quantum Leap theme!
=D

I personally liked Enterprise - I just though it had so much potential yet it was sadly never realised.
And I love the Earth Star Voyager theme too - they've got to release it on DVD properly!!

I know - for one thing you can't sing to this one like you can the original which I 100% admit to doing! At one point into a hairbrush!
Thanks for viewing!

I got to have a good natured chuckle. Connor Trineer as Malcolm Reed?
Its alright, it took me a while to know who played who too. Is weird how COnnor is the last one though..
