I think my ps2 verison is weird. I only managed to find red hare king (name Dun Star) but when i trained it to lvl5 it didn't have all stats maxed. The rest of the horses weren't able to become 'kings' as they all had heavenly physique but not consider the world...

@Draphcone no it is not weird at all, please read my video description. Firstly, they must have BOTH 'heavenly physique' and 'consider the world' to be horse kings. Secondly, you need ALL stats to be above 485 for it to reveal itself as a horse king. You need to RELOAD until you get the stats for each level and not just train blindly because stats increase are RANDOM. Hope this clears your doubts.

great video and people if you have at a look at character abilities like liu bei he has the skill to have rare wep and horses to be drop and use lu bu skill to max out the horsses abilities people you need to read what character skills can instead of asking questions like he said its all in the video how to do it.

@Ih8thePolice Any character who is maxed out can still get his ass kicked easily if playing on chaos mode. You must also have both good weapons and horses. Do not fight the officers using normal attacks but build up your musou and special attacks and use them instead. Refer the the vid and its description on how to obtain necessary stuffs to aid you. Hope this helps :)

@groinful It is not useless. I think leech is great. If you look at the weapon I am using for the demonstration, it also has leech too. The most powerful 5 skills to use in combat is flash, true musou, mystic, air wave and leech. Others are there to act as support or may cause other disadvantages which are explained in the vid.

@dontkickducks it may have other names for skills but definitely not less possibility for them to learn skills. Read the video description. First, you must be able to obtain a special horse which is totally at random. Next you have to reload the game and train them until you get the required statistics. It takes time to reload and train until perfection.

how do you get 5 attributes in a weapon? I got 5 attributes for Dian Wei, but the weapon is a 88 and not a 100 and I forgot how I got it

@OhSNapItsJustDavis I am sorry but there is no exact way to get it, weapon drops are totally random. Although 5 attributes are possible, it is very rare already. In order for it to have a higher chance to or near 100, you should try playing harder levels like Master or Chaos modes in a higher difficulty stage like this one.

@painfulslavery Please read the video description on how to get it, the way to get it is near the end. However, PC version does not allow you to do time tricks, so you can only get them randomly.

Berserk by the way is definitely worth it. You can kill them in 1 musou if it's at least a level 90 level. And if that doesn't work I just roll, block, then counter attack. Do that until you get a full musou. Or even better try to knock Sun quan in the water cuz he's easy alone and you can kill him if you are on your horse when you're in the water. When he's alone he's easy

@JacksMagicBean I do not think so for this case. What we aimed for is a safe victory. Having beserk will make you die easily in an accident too easily. In this case of the game, berserk is not required. What that kills the boss is mainly using of 'Flash'. With flash occuring together with a good musou and special attack skill fire, berserk is definitely not required here.

@thaijun82 Whatever works best for you. I always use zhao yun or lu bu or zhang liao so that works best for me. You're right though your way is safer.

I like using berserk though. Makes it feel like more of a challenge if something goes wrong :) Then it reeally gets fun cuz you're just trying not to die lol

@JacksMagicBean Well I agree that creating more challenges are fun and it has slightly higher damage. It will be good for fun sake or for other stages or purposes but not as a tool to farm weapons if that is the player's main intention.

@JacksMagicBean All the stuff works except for time tricks which works only for PS3. For other platforms, refer to the last section of the video description on horse farming. For weapons, you can get weapons with 100 attacks easily on Master or Chaos mode.

You can use other characters as well to finish the stage if you can. However, Zhuge Liang is still one of the easiest character to use in this round. Remember to play 2 players and use your main character to farm for both players.

Nah, Sun Quan is on the hardest difficulty round, while Lu Bu is only on a easy round (2 rectangles). Even if he is on fury, he sucked. I killed him in less than 1 Musou.

With that, some extra things to note below:

1) Set date & time to 04/08/2008, 12:01:00 a.m.

2) After setting the date, you need to pass the Character Selection screen within a minute.

3) You need to press START on the second controller on the Character Selection Screen AND NOT on the character customisation screen.

4) Play Guandu Wei side on easy mode.

5) You must complete targets 2 & 3.

4) You need to repeat the process TWICE. The time you get 'Ginger Striker' which is not red hare.

Are you playing on Ps3? Time tricks only works for Ps3. For other platforms, it is totally random and depends on luck. So you have to try continously. You can use the method suggested in my video description at the end.

If you want the time tricks, click on the link in my video description at the end. There is a video there to teach you how to do it.

The description of the horse you use is also not important, the most important thing is that you must have 2 level 50characters with Lady Luck and any 2 level 5 horses with 'Find Saddle' ability.

You must also play on easy and press start on the 2nd player only on the character selection screen.

Must it be "consider The World' or is it just a minimum requirement? I have a black or purple horse with 'Heavenly Physique' but with 'Miss Nothing' and it turned out to be an Ebon Thunder. I got a Red Hare King easily but it's hard to get the rest to Kings... Other than that, isn't Lu Xun and Lu Bu better? Lu Xun is very strong with Fire too. Lu Bu is one of the best characters, but doesn't have Fire, but I think swift attack is good enough isn't it?

"Consider the world" is a MUST for it to become a horse king.

Zhuge Liang has stronger Fire compared to Lu Xun. Lu Xun focuses on range instead of damage with skill "Living Flame". Zhuge Liang focuses on damage with skill "Hellfire". He also has "Stamina" to increase duration and "Battlecry" to stun enemies with Fire.

As for Lu Bu, his swift attack is definitely helpful. However, he does not have special start which makes him lose out on the advantage to clear this stage.

In addition, I can kill the boss with just 1 musou with Zhuge Liang quite frequently. That is something which I accomplished much less frequently with Lu Bu or other characters.

Chaos mode is obtained when u defeat the musou mode with a character from each faction. For how to equip weapons just choose the weapon in the weapon select screen with the up and down "select" buttons and hit the corresponding "Enter" button.

Which buttons are used for "select", "explanation", "enter" and "back" are shown in the weapon select screen directly below the weapon picture.

Anyway in order to unlock this stage, the easiest way is either to complete Dian Wei's musou if it is your first time playing Wei side. If it is not the first, you can complete Zhang Liao's musou mode.

Try "Easy" mode for this stage using the same method, using Fire as your main attack to finish the boss.

You should get some decent weapons easily as this is a maximum difficulty stage. Flash and True Musou should be no problem. If you can defeat "Master" mode for this stage, it will be even better.

Hi Dexilicious, I am quite sure that the hua tuo balm exists even in PS2. There are many websites showing it. E.g. gamewinners and gamefaq.

In order to max out your horse, the horse must have both descriptions "consider the world" & "heavenly physique".

Minimum starting stats for speed, jump, destruction & attack must be at least 344,304,124 & 184 respectively with each level rising max of 39,49,94 & 79 respectively.

Each time the horse levels, the stats raised will be differerent, therefore reload the game until you achieve the required stats & abilities for each level.

Although it is possible to find a weapon with 5 qualities, the highest damage a reach weapon (green) can go is 96 and not 100. It is also not possible for steel hoof & stone spririt to be together as it makes the character almost invincible on horse. All these items are only here for the purpose of display & reference and you cannot get them in the game. Thanks.

However, it is definitely common to find items with similar qualities and damage such as a 96 reach weapon with any of the 4 qualities and a horse with renbu gait, musou spirit & with either steel hoof or stone spirit as such Auburn King or Shadow King.

No, you can definitely find a weapon with 5 qualities, I can even find one in easy mode. But nevertheless, you are right that the weapon I used here and the horse is modified.

True Musou will be more useful in this case as it enables the character to kill the boss in just 1 musou which I can do it more than half of the time.

FYI, he's weapon's are hacked. You can't find an item with 5 qualities. With that said, Flash is important, but ice and true musou is probably optional. I prefer Mystic Seal over True Musou
