  • I just cannot find that fucking split, and all virtual amps are just too expensive and I cannot find torrents with keygens and shit ):

  • bad ass song

  • @clydegwaps1 thanks.

  • gave the samo pedal

  • Where would you buy the splitter?

  • @drummaDM10 at a local electronic store.

  • omg we dont care if you dont use the method anymore or not, please remove the boxes.

  • @theillusionist6677 you can always turn off the annotations if it bothers you that much. it's just that simple. :-)

  • @lifexinterpretation I totally forgot about that, thank you :)

  • @theillusionist6677 you're very welcome. :-)

  • Thanks bro!

  • @lifexinterpretation I like your Nintendo 64, and Stewie Griffin doll.

  • good lil tutorial. it was helpful. your musicianship (g,b &d) are good. you sing like you're in pain, tho :(.

  • @ultrakool

    lol, thanks.

  • lol he types out guitar really slow in the list of things you need like DUH lolz awesome vid man

  • Dude thank you SO SO much. I was about to freaking waste 200 dollars worth of equipment.

  • @Beenyad just don't expect it to sound really really good though. you'd have to pay more just to have a really good recording. we use line 6 pod x3 live these days.

  • i hate it when ppl put shit all over their videos. im not watching your video, but i was pissed off enough to tell you this. and i don't like your music either, it sounds like christopher walken dying of cancer.

  • @dirosaga by leaving this comment, you have just kissed our asses. seriously, there's a reason those "shit" are all over the videos. if you don't like it, don't bother. i mean, why should you even be pissed off? it wasn't attacking you.

  • @lifexinterpretation kissing ass requires a pair of lips and and ass, neither which have been observed here. I was voicing my oppinnion; if you don't like it, you can a) fuck off or b)voice your own opinion. I don't really care either way.

  • @dirosaga oh, but you do care. you cared enough to leave a 2nd comment on a video from OUR channel. we really don't see why you should even be pissed at our video that was more than 2 years old. we'll throw your options back at you. actually, you're only given one. guess which one? but go on ahead, leave more douchebag comments as you please. our replies will just keep getting interesting.

  • @lifexinterpretation Read more closely daniel-son. I did not say i didn't care about the video, and how it pisses me off. I said i do not care about whether you retaliate or fuck off. Furthermore, Your video is still a peice of shit to me and many others in the comments below, it's that simple. Why should i get angry at a video two years old? Time has nothing to do with it: this shitty video was shitty then, and shitty now, and still exists now: therfore time is irrelavnet.

  • @dirosaga actually, you just made yourself look more like an idiot with that comment. read my reply again, son. i never said you didn't care about the video. i said if you didn't care at all, then you wouldn't have replied to begin with. if it pisses you off that much, you can always turn off the computer. exactly, what pissed you off? is it because you actually logged on the computer and saw this? what a douche. i think it's only you.

  • @lifexinterpretat "I said if you didn't care at all" (Last post) "oh, but you do care." (post before last). Wtf. You fucken repeat yourself with confusing fuking grammer. You don't even make sense dude. learn how to communicate clearly. Anyways, Like before, i still think your video is a peice of shit. And your music. Lots of other people do too. WHy so many? Likely because they both suck ass (vid and music). You don't like it? Deal with it. Feel free to take your adivce and turn ur computer off

  • @dirosaga "i never said you didn't care about the video. i said if you didn't care at all,...".. you forgot that first part. and funny how you're talking about grammars when you yourself are a horrible typist. adivce? you mean "advice"... so if you think our video is a piece (not peice) of shit, then just go visit another video, or take the ADVICE turn off your computer. you think our video is shit? you don't like it? deal with it =)

  • @lifexinterpretation dude "grammers" . . .? You're incredible man. Unfortuanately for you, I -- like many others -- have the option of posting my oppinion -- that videos are shitty -- when I encounter shitty videos. And that is just what i have done, along with many others. Why don't you go through each of the comments below and argue with them, tool? See how long it would take you. Your vid is a piece of shit, and if you can't handle the opinnions of others, it's not my problem.

  • @dirosaga there you go again, saying "grammers" instead of "grammars." actually, we've heard it all. we're great, we're awful, people's opinions vary and it doesn't bother us at all. what's funny about yours and we couldn't resist responding to was when you said "but i was pissed off enough to tell you this..." seriously? how would anything piss you off when it had nothing to do with you? and go through each comment. quote those people who said this was shit. don't quote yourself. quote others.

  • @dirosaga Hey dirosaga, stop acting like a retard and just fuck off if you really don't like this. Gosh, you're acting like a 6 year old. What are you trying to do, anyways? Force your way or what? Your parents must not have given you the attention you wanted.

  • @adamtanghal haha i like the last sentence you typed XD

  • @dirosaga Kind of funny how you said "if you don't like it, you can a) fuck off or b) voice your own opinion" on the channel of the people you just bashed. Maybe you should have just fucked off because you didn't like this. Practice what you preach, dumbass.

  • @dirosaga Kind of funny how you said "if you don't like it, you can a) fuck off or b) voice your own opinion" on the channel of the people you just bashed. Maybe you should have just fucked off because you didn't like this. Practice what you preach, dumbass.

  • @dirosaga douchebag.

  • you totally polluted the video with those bubbles of words. It's too difficult to focus on the video. bad show

  • @LtronDelux

we did that for a reason. if anything, those bubbles are links that lead to our other recording videos

  • @LtronDelux just turn off the annotations its not that hard

  • NINTENDO 64!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:27 where would you buy something like this? i haven't looked anywhere yet so i'm not sure how common it is :P

  • @epsg123

We just bought from a local electronic store. Don't really know what it's called. These days, we don't even use that method anymore.

  • @epsg123

    Go to Radio Shack

  • 1:27 where would you buy something like this? i haven't looked anywhere yet so i'm not sure how common it is :P

  • what? process is different wen recording the drums?

  • We haven't used this method for a long time now.

We use a Line 6 POD X3 Live now and it's a lot easier. We use an electronic drumkit, which we run through the POD X3 Live. ... and so are every instrument we use.

  • what model is that crate?

  • That was a GLX30.

  • could u sendme a link to where u got the drums? thanx

  • Link? We used an electronic drumset.

We posted a video of how we record drum tracks. /watch?v=beiTayhOpPA

  • could i use a keyboard

  • Yes ... but we don't use this method these days.

Nowadays, we recording using the Line 6 POD X3 Live. It's a very beautiful thing.

  • how do u get duble bass on the drums

  • You can change the settings on the Yamaha DD-55 Digital Percussion, which is what we used for our recordings.

  • Double bass pedal

  • i found all of this on guitar center

  • at 4:15 isn't that a dream theater drum line?

  • Let's see ... might have sounded like that, but who knows. Our drummer recorded it. Dream Theater is one of our influences after all.

  • can you use the wah wah pedal instead of the multieffect unit to record?

  • Well, I wouldn't suggest it unless you have already have wah pedal together with the multi-fx.

  • can you use a wah wah pedal instead of a me pedal

  • Thanks a lot

  • someone knows how to remove the fuzz sound? im recording guitar with a mic.. so any help would be great!!!

    thanks for help!

  • You have an amazing voice

  • My guitar is EXACTLY like that. Dean vendetta Trans Black except mine is a 7 string

  • OMG thx!! this helped me out so much!!!

  • I would use Cakewalk (just because it's digital distortions sound way better than Digitech's, I had an RP-200 and didn't like the sound), an unidirectional Sennheiser mic (under $50), a cannon-to-jack cable, headphones (instead of the amp), midi drumming (through a midi cable plugged into the computer's USB port and a set of digital drums) and another software called Cool Edit, to equalize and detail the sound.

  • Currently, we're using Line6 Pod X3 Live (for the pedal).

Thanks for the suggestion of the Cool Edit software. I'll check it out.

  • You're welcome man, keep on rockin'!!!

  • get drum-kit from hell 2 and convert the guitar pro midi drums into a real sounding kit that will probably boost your material a whole lot

  • 1.) We don't use guitarpro midi drums. We USE an ELECTRONIC DRUMKIT (A Yamaha DD55 Digital Percussion) which you will see in some of our videos including this one.

2.) thanks anyway, but these days we use a different method of recording thanks to being able to acquire the Line 6 POD X3 Live, which you will see in some of our videos.

  • Oh and our drumkit is shown around 6:15 .. so ... yeah.

And you'll see the video of our drummer playing them afterwards.

  • I'm assuming you didn't watch the whole video.

Watch this and see how we recorded the drums.

    /watch?v=beiTayhOpPA

  • you should do a toutorial on how to do that then that will bost ur chanal veiws 2 alot

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the suggestion.

  • why do your recording sound good and mine sound like crap?! i use a m audio interface and a shure sm57 mic and the same acid software but still no ace agh!!! well keep up the good work

  • can i record my drum, i use a pulse acoustic, through a regular mic

  • yeah

  • thanks

  • the second song playing is yours ?

  • all of them actually

  • nice

  • why do u need the pedals???

would it still work if you just the amp alone?

  • it's suggestable

  • any digitech pedal? mine is a HOT ROD-ROCK DISTORTION from digitech.you can google it lol

  • on some pedals, mainly muti effects ones you can compress it and it may sound better when recorded

  • Do you NEEEEED a pedal?

  • it's suggestable

  • is that ur music playing?

  • yes

  • hey man...good config 4 the recording...but..i have a Boss GT-6..and it have a lot of outputs (coaxial digital, L, R, Phones, Send, Return, MIdi In Out...wich do i have to use??

    or I need more stuff?? please help me...and i have a Boss MT-2 too...and a Ibanez RG170 guitar...and a little cheap amp..XD

  • mic input from the computer into the output of your boss gt6.

  • ohh dude i have that pedal (not a huge fan of the digital sound though)

  • lol, neither were we but it was the most affordable multi-fx pedal we could get at the time.

most recently, i bought a line 6 pod x3 live. it sounds a lot better though it would make wallets bleed like hell.

  • oh i mean i dont usualy use multi fx pedals , i use a the ibanez tube screamer (ts08), the ibanez weaping demon wahh, and if i have the bateries to fill it a digitech compressor(which i plan on replacing with a milk box or marshall compressor)

  • dude this didnt help me at all! You guys didnt tell me where to put the cable into the computer.... and then it jsut records youknow outside hears what i say and all... the cables doesent help a shit! really help me out... i want to know this... but it jsut records outside the computer.... and it sounds shitty that way

  • Where? mic input. That's pretty much a given. Mhmm, you seem to be the only one having problems with this.

I suggest getting a Line 6 POD X3 Live. I got that about a month ago and it makes everything easier but it'll make your wallet bleed. If you have the money, go for it. It can be used for bass too.

  • Sorry but 200$ you've got a recording sound card

    thx man

    TOW

  • im a bassist also and i have a pedal xD its with distoration... its a very useful tool in bas playing.... it costs 66euro in dollars i dont know... i say to all bassists that if u dont have a pedal get. a pedal with a distororation sound... i have a PD7 phat-hed bass overdirve! ok not distorotion... overdrive i meant:D

  • do i need a pedel? thats the most expensive thing on there...i dont have one becuase im a bassist

  • Not really, but it's suggestable. The pedal I previously used was a Digitech RP50, which only cost me $65.

I would suggest a Line 6 POD X3 Live if anything since it also has bass amp models too (although that's about $500... maybe I could suggest another if you have a budget). I recently bought the POD X3 Live and it's a lot better.

  • is the song in the background a song you recorded?

  • Yeah. Currently though, I'm awaiting for my Line6 POD X3 Live to arrive. The quality should sound better according to videos and reviews I've seen.

  • Song at 4:18 is awsome

  • thanks!

  • would this work for a mac?

  • I'm not sure. I never touched a mac before that's why.

  • I play guitar and I have 3 pedals. I have a DigiTech RP200, Boss Metal Zone, and a Boss Distortion. Would I do all the same steps just put the "combo cord" into the distortion pedal?

  • Yes, you can

However, I would suggest more of the DigitechRP200 rather than the Boss Metal and the Boss Distortion unless of course, you lower than input volume when you record. Reason for using the multifx ones is because you can control the volume from the pedal itself, and the lower the volume, the nicer it would sound... and you can pump up your amps volume without causing any problems to your com's speakers. I have a Digitech MetalMaster and Boss DS-1 but I never used them on this.

  • Thanks so much! I used your advice and it worked perfectly! I rated it 5 stars twice!

  • that was great! but i'm worried about the bass guitar.. wouldnt it damage my computer hardware?

i am using a pentium 4 3.0ghz with a built-in soundcard on the motherboard. will this do?

  • No, it wouldn't damage your computer. We've done it and we've recorded almost 50 songs like that.

  • nice vid but if i go into a store and ask for the splitter thing what should i ask for?

  • I guess a splitter. I really don't know any other names for it. You might just have to explain to them what exactly you're looking for.

  • were did you get the splitter at?

  • I got it at a local electronic store here. I was fortunate enough to get the last one they were carrying.

  • or u can just buy a mic and then find a quite room and hook it to ur guitar and record it with the softwere im on a mac and i use grageband witch comes with it

  • I hope I don't sound sarcastic with this (and if I do, I truly apologize) but I hope you meant hook up the mic on the computer and place the mic near the amp. Yes, that could work but it will only sound awesome if the it was a condenser mic (and those things don't come in cheap). We use to record that way but we saw how our friends from another band recorded their music and we took their methods and it seemed to work great for us.

Thanks for the insight though! I appreciate it!

  • yea thats true
