At about 2:08, there is a picture of a group of five or six of you guys looking out from a mountain top area over a valley below. Where was this taken? I am coming to Sewanee in May to film where my Great Great Grandfather was hurt in a terrible explosion that took place in Sewanee during the Civil War. I would like to film from that location but need to know where you all were at. Thank you!
Hey, I don't know if they ever got back to you, but it's one of two places: There's a place called Guerry Garth, which is an overlook just off the campus. There's another place that houses a GIGANTIC WHITE CROSS, also overlooking the valley. That looks more like where the cross is (behind where they are standing). I spent a lot of time there.
That was a really cool video, great job. Hold on to your memories and always remember the friends you have made. I live in Decherd but I come to sewanee a lot to take pictures it so beautiful there.
You just had one of the best experiences you will ever have in your whole life. Looks like you had as much fun as I had in '79,'80 and'81!!! It was always hard leaving at the end of the summer. Hang on to those special friends you meet at Sewanee, and keep on playing great music your whole life!
