i had the haircut-ghetto blaster-playing this around the estate-mates houses putting records on when the parents had gone the pub-MEMORIES- THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF BEING 14,15,16 IN 79,80,AND 81
Yes, totally agree. Best song they ever did. I wish they'd kept to this sound, but they might not have survived finacially if they had. I reckon this sound would be a big underground hit now. Someone needs to do a new version with the same hard synths, but update the lyrics possibly (James Burke could be changed to Stephen Hawking!).
Easily 5 stars, this is one of my fav's now on youtube!!
I've listened to this song hundreds of times in the past, but it never sounded as good as this for some reason. I wonder if you did anything to the sound? Dunno. Anyway, the video is genius as well.
Fantastic! And I learned something about space too. This was always one of my top five HL songs. Definitely their most exciting and joyful time. I was 14 and life was good thanks to these sounds.
Excellent video. I like the way this whole video starts. Also good mixing of sounds from different early Human League songs as well (I did notice the conversation from 'The Word Before Last'). Well done! Keep it up!

What ever happened to the HL. I loved this era, then old Phil put on the stilettos and lipstick and made crap like Dare.
