  • Thanks for the responses. I'm a new player, but totally hooked on Suzuki. I just checked the retail price here at our somewhat local music store and it's $549.00. I guess I'll dream on, but the Suzuki FireBreath and the Manji are keeping me way happy at a fraction of the cost.

  • I'd love to know what harp sounds this warm and is this reliable up and down the comb!

  • All of you seem satisfied.. Just hear for once to larry adler and hear the difference..; Larry plays whith his tongue and his hands too.. Such a virtusity and such a sound , even when playing classical..; thats another world , i promised

  • bravo Rudy sei grande!

  • I enjoyed watching your videos, I am always please when I hear Classical Music played on the Chromatic Harmonica. Also you are very very popular on the youtube site. Keep on playing.

    Good Luck

  • what's a 20 hole tremolo harmonica for?

  • This guy is using choromatic harmoica, which is for classical music.

  • One easter, I got a CD called classical harmonica. I believe I was 12 at the time. Now, I loved music, but, I thought...classical harmonica? ehh...then I listened to it. I was utterly blown away. There's something so amazing in taking this instrument from being a bluegrass blues instrument, into a beautifully sounding classical instrument. It takes talent, and the ability to think outside the box. And this video, and the others in this group that I've watched, reenforce my opinion.

  • Late comment... heh heh... but you are right.

Search "Buddy Greene" and watch his Carnegie Hall recital on a diatonic, if you have not already done so. Diatonics are more difficult, but give a wonderous live feel. Really!

  • My reply's late too, so don't feel bad. I shall definitely do so, thanks for the suggestion!

  • Diatonics more difficult? Tell that to my chromatic harmonica so it learns not to be so hard to play.

But yes, Buddy Greene is a master of diatonic harp. :)

  • It is while learning, that makes instruments differentiate from eachother on a scale of difficulty. It doesn't matter after the mastery stage.

  • :o Woah.. That is really really nice. :) Well done for being original.
